The process was pretty streamlined and simple! The wait was long but they were EXTREMELY busy. I understand how how hard it is in healthcare right now so I appreciate all the staff there!

The wait was entirely too long after check-in and we were never informed especially since we were there for an N95 mask fit test for our job. Waited close to 3 hours, then ended up having a physical because according to OSHA, it is a requirement because of the sensitivity of the questions that were answered. This should have also been communicated up-front. Front office staff could be more friendly also. I work in healthcare and it makes a difference to be serving customers and do it as if you like it. There was one young lady at the front who was pleasant and helpful.

Even though you cannot make an appointment… i was ok. I was able to get lunch and fill out my pre-workup on my phone. Once completed I was called to come in. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. I am in the medical so testing them came easy. Would definitely visit again. Great work Concentra 😊

Was pretty quick visit for Employment Drug Test. Waited less than an hour and was out the door with everything completed. Quick and efficient nothing wrong with this location.

So I read the reviews before I went to this place knowing that it would be a long wait. I got there 10 minutes before they opened and there were already 5 people ahead of me in line. I was checked in by 8:10 and seen by 8:45. I don’t know if it just happened to be a good day here or what, but I would suggest getting there when they open because by the time I left, the waiting room was already at max capacity.

Itd be both convenient if u included on chest x-ray requirement forms that clients should bring w them prove that theyve had positive PPD before.Was here from 9:00am - 11:54 am.After coming back the following day - concierge asked me for TB vaccination proveNB this was done 55 years back in Africa.. I dont even remember seeing my vaccination card.. All I got on my left upper arm is marks .. I cant tell which is for what vaccination...Second time I was there for about three hours.

5 and a half hour wait to do a mask fit test. Extraordinary! No appointments allowed, you simply had to wait. The fitting took 10 mins. I would attend again but the staff were pleasant and courteous. Just felt the appointment system was woefully inept.

Don’t come here unless you have to!! I waited for 2.5 hours for a basic drug test and physical for employment. I was not told of the wait when I arrived and no one every apologized. The waiting room was packed and people often had to wait in their cars. They should allow appointments to prevent you from wasting your whole day waiting. First and foremost I came on behalf of my job to get a physical and a drug test. I had to sit in the lobby and wait for 2 hours before anyone would even see me even though the front desk clerk stated that I was next in line. I had to go to the counter and complain that I was there for 2 hours before the clerk would help me when she did she took me to the back where I met the nurse who was short tempered and disinterested in helping me get through my situation she complained about my physicality and rushed me through to see the doctorUpon seeing the doctor he was very short tempered rude and the raises voice at me for no apparent reason when I begin to ask questions about his expectations of the results he became even further frustrated and more rude and then threatened to leave the room and Ive not raised my voice or give him any type of suggestion that I was being aggressive I was simply asking a question the treatment was rude I was not able to receive my paperwork so I have to go back it was a very very bad experience and others who were in the waiting room also complain about waiting an hour to 2 hours just to be seen and it was until they complain that they received service

Would have given 5 stars if I hadn’t had to use a day I was supposed to get paid for to come back for a 2nd visit because the staff couldn’t communicate effectively the first time. They were polite just not willing to read a paper they were holding that said the exact thing they were looking for me to get from my employer

From the very beginning I was unhappy with my experience at Concentra. The waiting room was absolutely packed. There were so many people there werent enough chairs for everyone. After about 45 minutes waiting I very much needed to use the bathroom, so I asked the counter attendant if I could have a urine exam cup since I knew I would have to give a sample eventually. She said, umm ok? and then never helped me. When I finally was taken back for my exam I was helped by a nurse who looked like the last thing she wanted to be doing was engaging in her roles as a healthcare provider. Her indifference was only eclipsed by her horrible technique. She really hurt me while taking my blood. I have never had that bad an experience having my blood drawn. To make matters worse I was rushed from room to room while the nurse was constantly talking on her walkie-talkie.This was hands down one of the worst healthcare experience of my life. I am not prone to writing reviews but this business should be avoided and I will never return again.

So all I can tell you is that the waiting time in this place is insane. I waited a total of 4:45 mins just to go and pee in a cup only to be told that it will be sent off to a lab and that results will be sent directly to the employer in 1-3 business days. The staff weren’t exactly friendly because it was obvious that they were under a lot of stress and pressure from the patients. The waiting room is very small with limited seating . Only good thing was that we were allowed to wait in out cars until we received a phone call. I got there at 12:45 and only left at 5pm.

Never waited so long for a medical check up in this place. I dont even know how people can survive the long wait. Youll have to bring food, tent and a lot of your patience just to wait for your appointment..

It took me almost 4 hours to complete a simple urinalysis, a procedure that in any LabCorp takes 10 minutes at the most. I immediately told my employer to never use them again. Slow, cold, and rude staff. I am never going back to this place. Stay away if you are able, and if not be ready for a long day.

I had to wait 1.5 hours to read a TB Test. This literally takes less than 10 seconds to do anywhere else. Not an exaggeration. I was absolutely shocked. They had at least 20 people in a waiting room for 1 doctor. Understaffed. Terrible waits.

I had to wait from 9am to 7pm the first day and the second time I came back they made .e wait over 6 hours and I had been on antibiotics and have given them a little less then they needed and they threw it out in my face. Come to find out my paperwork was expired so I hope they didnt file the Urine they threw out on expired paperwork.Was a horse show for sureIll never go back

The guy working the front desk was less than professional and clearly overwhelmed. I had a 1230 appointment and showed up 10 minutes early. After waiting until 140 I got up and asked the desk clerk, a different person what the issue was. Basically they did not file me as checked in and put my paperwork with the walk ins. After I finally got scene, the nurses were fine.

If you can, PLEASE go somewhere else. I had to come here for pre-employment screening and even received an e-passport to expedite the process. I called first thing in the morning and was told I didn’t need an appointment to come. I came at 1230pm… and was not called back until 5pm. I asked how many people were in front of me 3 hours in and was told two people but over 8 people went before me. I saw MULTIPLE people who came after me be seen and leave before me. I don’t think the entirety of the staff is the issue (although one of the women at the front desk acted as if she could care less) but they are severely understaffed. If you have to come expect to be here an entire day and free your schedule.

Came here for a drug screening for a job. Walk-ins only. I arrived around 10am, the wait was about an hour after I filled out their paperwork. All the seats were filled, they have fewer out due to covid. Once I was called up, I was finished in about 5 minutes. Service was good, staff was courteous. Typical experience for these screening places, no complaints.

They were obviously very busy when I showed up today at 12:45 and they told me there was a 3 hour wait. I understood and waited in my car until I received the call at 4:15 that they were ready for me to come inside and be seen. But the physician barely looked at my injury, and to add insult to injury, they neglected to give me back my id. I didnt realize until I had gotten home later that evening that my id was missing. I tried to be understanding, but I cant ignore this seeming lack of care and attention.

Went there for a job drug test got there at 1230 wasn’t seen until 330. Staff was rude doing everything but they job. Everybody not supposed to go to lunch at the same-time . I would never go there again

I just went this morning for a pre-employment drug screening. I arrived around 7:30 and was already about the 8th person in line. For the record- I was out of there within an hour of checking in. Youll find a lot of complaints in these reviews, but it has very little to do with the employees and more to do with how many patients they have to handle. This is a heavily populated area with a bustling economy- why are you surprised that a place that handles pre-employment physicals and tests is busy? Bring a good book and dont harass the employees. They were gracious and kind.

Zero star, waited for 5 hours, the manager and the doctor was so rude. I’m not going back there….The manager don’t know how to talk to the patient waited for 5 hours. He said to me don’t come back here…I asked his name and I told him I will email the higher boss of concerta and he gave me his card a told me go ahead do it with a rude manner.

This is the worst urgent care I have ever been to. This would be my second time having to sit and wait for hours just to get seen. I showed up at 8:10am to not have to wait so long. They asked if I had an appointment for my follow up. The worst part about this is I had tried to call for an appointment and they cut me off and told me there are no appointments, you have to walk in. Its been 4 hours waiting and people who have arrived after me are gone. I finally am in. But now waiting for the doctor. A whole day wasted. Never again.

Honestly, the staff were very friendly given their working conditions. Place was absolutely packed! They were asking people to wait outside because there werent enough seats inside. My only problem, and its a very big one, is the wait time. I dont understand why they cant use an appointment system of some kind. Having to wait 4 hours for a quick drug screen for a future employer is absolutely ridiculous.

I would leave 0 stars but that’s not an option. I waited five hours just to have a 20 minute physical. There were people who waited 4 hours just to urinate in a cup. It was absolutely ridiculous. If you can go somewhere else go somewhere else. I’m sure the only reason people still go here is because this is the only place your company will allowed to go 0/10 would not recommend.

I arrived at 9:15am to leave a simple urine sample for a drug test (requested by an employer). They called me back at 10:45am. Ridiculous.

I was the first person there, over a hour early to make sure I was number 1. After I signed in 8 people went ahead of me, I understand not everyone was there for a dot physicals. I complained, which I dont like to do, they said my file got mixed up and suddenly I was next in line. I just dont think it right how I was treated. They need a better system.

If I could give no stars I would.... I never heard of this place until my husband when for a follow up from an incident at work his first time. He was very disappointed and very upset with the service, lost the entire day of work. he arrived at 12:40p waited in the waiting room for over 3 hours and was taken to the exam room waited again doctor never came in he got tired of waiting walked out at 5:15pm. HORRIBLE PLACE !!!! I dont know how they are still open

I arrive at this center at 330PM. Im writing this review now as I sit in the waiting room at 6PM. I came for a simple drug test. My company did all the digital epassport requirements to make the Administrative portion seemless. However this location is under staffed to the point that the waiting room is backed up and does not allow for COVID-19 safety measures such as 6ft distance.This center is very inefficient in their processing of patients and should be reviewed for administration. I would not recommend this center to anyone.

I just came to do physical examination. I called them to get an appointment but they said no need for that. I came at 10:30am and i was waiting to 3pm. They even did not care when you ask them for how long will you wait ! One of my worst experience ever. They should respext their patients and treat them nicely.

It was extremely busy when I arrived at 8:00 AM. Had to wait two full hours until my physical examination began at 10:00 AM. Physical went on for 2 more hours, and finally finished at 12:00 Noon. All of this notwithstanding, I’m giving Concentera 4 stars, because I passed all parts of the physical with flying colors. It was worth the 4-hour investment of time.

Go Somewhere Else!My second D.O.T Physical Exam at Concentra, and this time was a complete rude-fest nightmare!I got there and waited OUTSIDE in line from 6.:50am till they opened at 7am (they said to arrive super early). I wasn’t called till 8:30am, and there was LESS than 10 of us!I got to the front desk and was told their card processing machine stopped working, and must pay $114 in cash. So I went to the nearest ATM, got $120 and headed back, presented my payment, and was scolded to get EXACT change! I told them to keep the change and that I’m ok with paying $120 instead of finding exact $114. Well, before I could even finish talking, the lady yelled - “Next Person Please!!!”I quietly left, got Starbucks, came back and paid the EXACT $114.While I waited, I observed a few other people arguing with their rather rude staff members, and some actually left in frustration. Oh, I almost forgot - the entire waiting area only had about 7 chairs, and I was told I could not wait (standing) and had to wait outside!I eventually left Concentra at 10:30am! Three and Half Hours just to have a DOT physical?!

I called ahead asking if I needed to make an appointment, was told that they only took walk-ins. I ended up waiting 3 1/2 hours in the waiting room without food or drink, waiting to be seen. Communication was horrible about how long I would be waiting around. I WISH I could have given my name and number and drove around doing errands and been called, but I guess that would be considered an appointment.The staff was very polite once I was seen, but the appointment system here is horribly inefficient. No chance to be seen urgently at this urgent care center.

Amazing people and courteous every time I’ve had to be seen which has been many times at that location since I am a travel RT and have to have pre-employment testing and vaccines. The works are extremely busy, yet kind and empathetic to your need.

Two hours for a urinalysis. The staff was pleasant and obviously overworked. Wouldn’t recommend this location anything routine.

I had a great experience at Concentra Urgent Care! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Additionally COVID-19 precautions were used and the wait time for a walk in was less than 30 minutes on a busy morning which was wonderful.

Appointment schedule for 1:30pm I arrived one hour early to complete forms 2 hours later still havent been seen. Nothing is unorganized and customer personnel is unfriendly.

The Nurse said my weight was 229 & my Neck was a 17.5 after a quick not accurate measure of my neck & my weight. I got home and my neck size was 16.7 and my weight was 226. So this led me to be a border line candidate for sleep apnea. Which I never was a candidate for sleep apnea. I have a DOT physical every year. And the law was past 3 years ago. I never had a sleep apnea problem. Now Concentra wants me to spend my health insurance money on a sleep apnea Machine I don’t need. Because the company I work for doesn’t drive a class A vehicle over 8 hours a day. Concentra is the worst. Just want to make money for my second physical I have to take all over again. Just to find out I don’t have sleep apnea.

So… I came here last week, walked in just before 8:30 and there were more than 10 people waiting. I waited almost 30 minutes and in that time, 1 person was called. I am back today, was here around 8:15, paperwork in as well, it’s been 34 minutes and they are just now calling the third person back since I’ve been here. This is not acceptable, it’s actually disrespectful on many levels to people and their time. At minimum, schedule appointments for drug test and such so that people can plan accordingly.

The ladies at the front desk were incredibly rude and super unhelpful. The wait times were also absolutely awful. I waited for two hours to get something as simple as a drug test. I would NOT recommend going here for ANYTHING.

I am not happy with the service provided.My bill was sent to collections on two occasions, but it was never sent to me. I found out when I asked why havent I received a bill. I was seen in your office a week before the last time, and no one mentioned i had an outstanding bill.Tricare said for me to contact you directly on a matter as I have done in the past. I was told by you Tricare had to contact you on that matter.This week, I wanted to schedule therapy with you because I had knee surgery. I was told by you that I wasnt listed in your system as being treated by you. I had therapy with you for three months prior to my knee surgery

The waiting room was comfortable. The building was clean. Front Desk were organized. The staff were friendly especially the one who took my x-ray and drug test. I recommend this place.

I been there for My injury in my left shoulder , it takes me 3 weeks therapy , the team are so nice and cares about their patient .They are amusing how they handle the stress in busy time .Doctor Marco are so professional and help you to better and follow you closely .Jamese Therapy technician is working so hard to make you therapy less painful and help you to handle you pain .And all other stuff are so nice and hard workingThey made a fantastic work as now I went back to work without pain.I will recommend concentra urgent care In Alexandria to everybody

I called to make an appt to get a urine drug screen done and was told that I would walk in. I decided to stop by about 1.5hrs before going to work. Surprising, the lobby was full of people. After waiting 30mins, I expressed to the staff after filling out my paper work that I had to leave in 40 mins to get to my next job. I was willing to wait to see if they can squeeze me in but decided that I would not have enough time. I decided to not take the chance of being late to work and was willing to schedule another day since there was alot of people.I am appreciative of Samantha and the staff for expediting my encounter which saved me an extra trip. It was a fast process and I was able to make it to work despite the long list of patient who were waiting ahead of me.

Came for a pre-employment drug test on the 27th of may. The job I applied for didn’t receive the results yet and upon reviewing my receipts it wasn’t even my details on the receipt!!! I called to tell them and all they said was shred it! The job has still not received the results yet! This could mess someone up dearly!

This is a very busy clinic. Make sure you have at least an hour Or two to spare if you visit. The staff is very efficient and knowledgeable-it’s just they have a lot of work. I think if have more staff it would be a much better place

This location’s use of time management and human resources are poorly coordinated and managed.

Because the doctor who took my physical was vary fast and seemed hurried in what he was doing maybe it was just an off day for him and he had a lot of work so I understand that he was probably just wanting to be done with the day but he didn’t even ask how I was doing or feeling or anything like that so that is why I’m given this review 4 starS but the other staff where vary friendly and nice and I’m greatly appreciate everyone for all there great work they do just a little disheartened about the doctor who did my physical that is all.

Got here 1130am, did not get called in until 240, waited in the room for the doctor until 330 leaving at 0420pm . I was here for a psychical exam! that took them 10 mnts to perform! Give your self a favor and Go elsewhere and save your self time and money

I went for a pre employment drug screening. They did a nice job of managing the crowd and keeping it moving despite the usual folks that dont follow simple instructions. I was in and complete in about 30 minutes which was much faster than I anticipated once I saw how many people were there. Overall a great experience.

Took over 2 hours to be seen but it was VERY busy. Thats why 4 stars and not 5. The employees here are extremely nice and even though some people were acting stressed from the wait, they all kept their cool and were very respectful, polite and happy to answer any questions. I was impressed by their professionalism under so much pressure.

I never heard of this place until I was told to get a DOT for work. Going there for the first time, i was surprised at how busy they were with a waiting room full of ppl sitting and standing. Kind of hard having social distancing, but everyone did wear a mask. I was there way too long. 2 hours to be exact, but in the end, i got my certificate for work.

Be sure to bring medical history info or food.My experience...I arrived 10 minutes after they opened. I checked in and got their paperwork, filled it out, turned it in, and sat back down. I had extra papers so it took probably 20 minutes. I didnt keep proper time of my waiting, but it seemed like an eternity until I was called to the desk to have them ask me to fill out something online (that lady was so unfriendly, I could see it in her attitude; a text was sent to my phone, which was on Do Not Disturb since I was in an office, and I was unaware of the message...a heads up would have been nice). More time passed and eventually I was brought back for my pre-employment drug screen. Then, the T-Spot blood test was right after, and my hope was to get my fit test directly after that and be done, which did not happen. After the blood draw, I was placed in a room where they insisted on doing a complete physical due to a history of seizures, which is controlled and uneventful for 20 years, not exaggerating. I waited a long time, then someone came in and asked me if I had a doctors note, or could get ahold of one from my most recent neurology appointment, which as a patient, I am not able to do without a medical record request. Then I waited some more. Then a doctor came in and did a quick exam, and then I waited some more. Then someone came in and took me for an eye exam, color vision test, a depth perception test, then placed me back in the room. Then she came back to take me to a room to do a pulmonary function test, which apparently if I did not pass, I would be recommended to see a pulmonologist, and they wouldnt clear me. I then was finally able to do my fit test. Then I waited in the room some more, and finally after 4 HOURS, I was released. The doctor was able to get ahold of the neurologist for info.All I needed was a drug screen, a T-Spot blood test, and a fit test. I was not there for a physical exam or medical clearance, and they insisted on it. I was so unhappy, and hangry since I hadnt eaten anything that morning. It was awful and I told my job recruiter I almost dont want to travel as a nurse anymore if I have to deal with this.So, if you have a medical history of stuff, make sure you bring documentation with you, or food.

I went there for a drug screen and they mixed the bottle of the specimen with the form so my test was cancelled because the numbers on the form didn’t match the numbers of the bottle. This caused me a delay on starting work, I had to cancel my flight and housing arrangements because of this awful mistake. I incurred in financial losses and hardships due to the negligence of this Concentra urgent care.

Extremely understaffed. Waited 5 hrs to be seen. Had to come back because one of the vaccines I needed had run out. When I returned a few days later I had to wait 2 hours to receive the shot that wasn’t available the first visit.

The wait was unreal----over 3 hours for an employment drug screen and physical. The doctor was probably the nicest MD Ive ever encountered in one of these facilities. The ladies at the front desk were saints. Despite being masked and having social distanced chairs set up, I feel like I have to self-isolate anyway b/c there were soooooo many people in and out and up and about. Made me nervous! Bottom line-- make an appointment and DO NOT do walk-in. I repeat DO NOT do walk-in.
