First of all, I called and Carol couldnt have been more gracious. She was so understanding and comforting when I called and told her I just finished looking through my 7 1/2 yos head that was full of lice for 4 1/2 hours. I called at 2:45 and told me she could have someone at my house by 4:30 that very day!!!Lorraine was our lice expert. She showed up ready to get down to business. She immediately put my three kids at ease especially my 12 yo daughter who was having a hard time accepting she had lice for the very first time. She answered all of our questions while she worked. She was extremely thorough but gentle. The product she used was free of pesticides and chemicals so it didnt hurt our heads. As she was leaving, I told her I loved her but I hoped not to see her ever again! :) She was wonderful and I have already recommended this company to 4 more friends.It isnt for the frugal people out there but the cost, in my opinion is worth every penny!!

I highly recommend Arlin and Lice Happens. I called at 8:00 pm and the next day at 10:00 am she was at our door. She was very thorough and professional. It can be hard for a young child with long hair to sit through the treatment, but she was very gentle. I also suggest the non toxic products for prevention. They are have no strong odors and chemicals and are safe to use on young children. The comb is more effective than any product you can buy on the market. Worth the investment as they give a follow up treatment plan to make sure your home is lice free. We scheduled a visit with Lice Happens when our 5yr old came home with lice. They were out the next day, and what a GREAT relief! Arlin is an expert, and helped us feel great about the treatment and next steps. Shes helpful, kind, and great with kids... cant say enough good things about our experience that anyone with young kids can appreciate. So well worth it, would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Arlin was lovely! This was our first experience with lice and it was helpful knowing that we were on the right track -- by using a comb. We had successfully removed most of the lice/nits using our comb the night before but knowing we were doing the right thing and had a plan going forward was incredibly reassuring!

They were able to come within an hour. Arlin was fast and so helpful. She found and removed live lice and numerous nits that the OTC treatment and my own combing missed. My four year old usually has a tender scalp, but Arlin did a great job and my kid didn’t complain at all. The instruction for aftercare was clear and helpful. Would use again, although I hope I don’t have to.

Called the service after getting a call from daughters daycare telling me she had lice- they were able to send someone out about an hour after I called. The specialist arrived promptly and was such a pleasure to work with. I felt icky and thought it was something I did, but she assured me that wasnt the case and made me feel very comfortable about the whole situation. My daughter is only 16 months old and the specialist was great with her and with me.
