What an experience. As soon as the Doctor came into the room, I immediately felt like I was being rushed and had to hurry with my questions and concerns. From start to finish I believe I was in the room for 3 maybe 4 min. I left this office not only still feeling uninformed but as if I were just a number. Will NEVER go back. Wish I would’ve read the horrible reviews

The Doctor is fine it’s the Telavisit that’s the joke. If a person doesn’t get a hold of you before your telavisit to get your payment (copay) you will not get a telavisit link there for you miss your appointment. Then when you call in during the time your visit is your on hold for the entire time (15min). There has to be a better way to do this. This has happened to me multiple times. You should be able to have the visit then be billed or something.

Switch my father to this group because his previous urologist passed away. It has been the biggest clown show ever. No one ever returns calls or fills medication when needed. After 3 months I have completely given up on the group and will find a Urology group that somewhat cares for their patients.

I went several years ago and only remember it was a very long wait. Now apparently I have an appointment scheduled. I never scheduled an appointment. I called them to let them know they had the wrong person. The lady asked if she could put me on hold, I said no. She said she would put me on hold. I waited a bit then just hung up. I was trying to do them a favor by correcting their information as someone was not going to get the reminder call but apparently Im too big of an inconvenience to actually talk to. Oh well, on the plus side hopefully tomorrow someone will have to wait less time as I did several years ago as they will be a little less booked.

The one star is for the billing manager (K. Pope) who will mess up the patients insurance, will never answer your calls even if you leave voicemails and will never reply to your email even if you follow up. She is such a rude, unprofessional and irresponsible person. At the end of the day she will blame you and will have a mindset from the moment she calls that the patient was at fault.My doctor (Dr. Gandhi) is such a nice person, he treats his patients very well and provides good suggestions.I wouldnt go to this facility until they have such rude staff members.

Had an appointment at 10:30 for a blood draw today. I was told it HAD to be done by 11 am. I sat in the waiting room for 21 minutes watching people called back who had minutes before checked in. There was no way I would meet the 11am deadline. Waisted an entire morning.

The first time I visited this company they told me that I had to have minor surgery.I had the surgery scheduled a month ago for October 24th , They also told me that I needed to get tested for the coronavirus, but not before August 19.During this time before the surgery They went to the trouble of calling me twice to collect the money for the surgery , When there is the same they told me that I could pay the full amount the same day of the surgery.The second time they called, he insisted that he make the payment before the surgery They also asked me if I had been tested for the coronavirus and I said yes, I had not received any response yet.They asked me where I had done it. I told them where and they told me that they had access to that laboratory and they left me waiting on the phone for more than 30 minutes, I had to end the call and I called to know the answer to the test.When they answered the call they explained to me and told me that my result had been negative.Well, for the day of my surgery when I get to the office, the first thing they did is collect the entire amount Then another person comes and explains to me that they cant do the surgery because the coronavirus test I did is not the one they like.They never gave me some kind of order to take the coronavirus test, they just said we need the test and thats it.In summary I waited a month for them to tell me that they are not going to do the surgery because the test I did was done in a different way (corona virus) , They dont care that you missed a day of work.The management that they have is terrible, they are not professional at all.

Some examples:* My doctor (Salem) called me to answer my followup questions within an hour of submitting them through the portal* Pushed a procedure date up a few weeks to accommodate me

Worst place ever. My son had an appointment there this morning. We showed up and he was told at the front desk that they did not take medicaid. The strange thing about this is when he was referred from his family doctor to this place, I specifically went on Anthem Healthkeepers Plus website and ALL of the doctors were listed as accepting his insurance. They also did not tell us when the appointment was scheduled two weeks ago when most practices ask when you make an appointment, what kind of insurance you have first off that they did not accept his insurance. This VERY rude person sitting at the desk when I questioned her kept rolling her eyes and giving me dirty looks. Another lady came up to the front desk and tried to explain to me why the website says they accept medicaid but they really dont. She said its tricky. Not sure what that means. Then then said someone had called and told us they did not accept medicaid a few days before the appointment even though neither of us ever spoke with anyone from their office. They said my son could come back and be seen by a doctor in the afternoon and be charged $260.00. If he had $260.00 for an appointment, he wouldnt be on medicaid. I would not recommend these people to anyone EVER. I had read the other terrible reviews they have been given but wanted to give them a chance to prove the reviews wrong. Sadly I understand why they received such terrible ratings. Take your business elsewhere.

Bad service in this facility. The staffs, the doctors and Billing office all are unskilled and bad behavior. Going there was waste of my time. Find another facility. I would give 0 zero star.

This is the worst place by far.I went to this place for check up on Tuesday. Did my test and was told that I would be informed in one or two days. After a week, didnt hear anything! I called this place and the operator was cutting me off when I was talking. And she said she would tell the doctor. And I havent heard anything from them again for 3 days. Why did you ask me to do the test if you are not going to share it?? Go somewhere else where its more dependable. This is a waste of money, time and energy.

Worst customer service I have ever witnessed! The Alexandria staff was late to open the three times that I visited. On my first visit, I got a blood test, and the assistant scheduled me for a follow up to get the results. When I went in for the results, they didn’t have them. No one followed up with the lab to see if they were ready! Another visit one week later, and I had the results. Now I need a biopsy, and I’m supposed to start antibiotics the day before the prostate biopsy. I get a phone call that the prescription was sent to the pharmacy, and I should be able to pick it up. I called the pharmacy a few hours after some assistant from the Urology practice called me to tell me about the prescription. The Pharmacy (Walgreens) told me they didn’t receive an order from the Urology center! It’s a good thing I still have some time before the procedure. When I called the center I was told to leave a message. The number to call to leave a message is the same one I am to call if there is a medical complication after the surgery!Are you kidding me? If I have to wait 72 hours for a call back now, what makes you think you’re going to take a bite out of my a..?!

Worst customer service, i have been asking for a first time appointment for three weeks and they are not capable of even answering emails. If doctors allow that customer service I cant imagine they are good in what they do. Trying out another practice instead

I am a Nurse Practitioner and I warn you this practice lacks ethics and management. If you want your x-rays, scans and labs to be handled as very important diagnostic tests this is not the place to be. If you want your scans to get lost in their non working fax machines while you are anticipating your results this is a place to be. If you want your urine specimen to get lost while anticipating your results this is the place to be. If you want unethical manager to handle your complaints and lie to you the specimen you gave made it to the lab but got lost there or perhaps was not processed due to insufficient amount when it actually never left the practice this is the place to be. I called the lab and they never received the specimen and the lab called the manager but she didnt pick up the phone. The lab called me again this morning to confirm the specimen wasnt in their log book. The manager of this practice called to lie to me because she was embarrassed by the fact that few weeks prior to that they had lost my scan results due to a broken fax machine. I was waiting for the doctor who ordered the scan as a STAT to call me but no one called me. I waited in patience. Luckily, I was able to read my own scan results by going to mychart of the diagnostic center. A month later they called to ask me why I didnt have the scan done yet. I explained the scan was done the next day it was ordered and that I had been waiting to hear from the doctor. Then came the excuse of broken fax machine. By then, I had gone to the ER due to the stones and had another scan. I have worked in a healthcare field for over 20 years as a registered nurse and I have never seen such a practice that is this negligent. I feel sorry for their elderly patients who tend to forget and may need a close follow up care.Update: Here in the emergency room again today with fever, chills, rash, malaise and still with symptoms of UTI. This visit to ER could have been avoided if they had not lost my urine specimen. I am here because I am not sure if a bladder infection made its way to my kidneys. I also have to have another adominal CT due to the pain. Another exposure to high rays that could have been avoided. Not to mention another $548 for the scan.Update again. I had to have surgery yesterday for the stone removal. I suffered so much for two months due their negligence. Had they not lost my scan initially, my stone would have been taken care of through Lithothripsy. Since my stones moved slowly and made it close to the bladder, Lithothripsy was not an option. Meanwhile, my R kidney was filling with water due to the stones causing me pain and nausea. Now, post surgery dealing with pain again. One doctor called to apologize last week for the events occures. What can I say?

I wasn’t really impressed with this office. The girls behind the desk really were not working together. They seemed to want to do the same thing. They gave me 2 clip boards to fill out and they both wanted to do my insurance information. Wasn’t impressed with the doctor either. He had no idea why my feet were swollen and said “ It was out of his expertise “. Didn’t understand that. I most likely will not be back unless I have more problems but, most likely will see somebody else.

Multi-year long patient of this practice, with numerous interactions and invasive surgeries. There wasnt a single interaction or patient contact moment that wasnt plagued by inefficiencies, ineffective treatment, or simply a lack of care/understanding. I felt stuck with this practice based on my insurance having a very narrow network of surgical urologists in this area, and I would have changed sooner if I could.

I couldn’t find ZERO star to select it . It’s a corruption clinic its purpose to make money and conduct business with labs . I was taking antibiotics that any urine test would be invalid . This what other clinic advised me after Potomac urologist abused me to pay more money and left me without any treatment . If you really care about your health and money don’t come close to them ever . There are many urologist with real starts like Fairfax urologist and other places really care about you not about your money and harm you

I concur--this place is horrible. Good luck getting through. If they call you and you miss their call, you may be on hold for 30 minutes with still no guarantee of getting through to a live message. And--their record says, leave us a message--we will get back to you within 72 hours. 72 hours? For real? Ive had an appointment for my 90 year old dad for 3 months for a follow up. They just cancelled on me. Guess Ill be another 3 months getting in. Dont even let me rant about what it took to get his pre-procedure meds.

After landing myself in hospital from not seeking medical help for my long-running problem with BPH (inadequate hydration leading to bladder infection and stoppage), Dr Klein took my case. Got rid of the infection, had the urolift procedure, and life is SO much better. Dr Klein was easy to talk to, was clear about treatment options and outcomes. Terrific care, great staff.

Upon entering this doctors office, I did not know what to expect, but quickly realized the staff was very pleasant! Diana at the front desk was very professional and was able to answer all of my question. Dr. Pratik Desai was very personable, informative and assuring of the matter regarding my visit. He made sure I was completely comfortable with the information given to me before concluding my visit.Once again the staff members were great. Upon exiting April took the time to answer some inquiries I had, Zenaida stopped what she was doing to direct me to the staff member to confirm a change I requested and Claudia changed some information on my profile without a hassle.I do not typically leave reviews, but based on previous experiences with doctors offices, I felt it was necessary to let people know there are doctors offices that dont treat you like another number to call.This is a great doctors office to go to and after your visit, I will assure you will have no reservations about the customer service Dr. Pratik and his staff delivered.

The meds Dr Desi tested on me did the job in cutting down on my nightly wakeups to pee and gave me an RX to continue using. I told him about another possible problem and he said if it continue to come back to see him I am very happy with the services I have received from them.

Two weeks ago I found myself at the ER in horrible pain from what I found out was Kidney stones.... I was referred to Potomac Urology Dr Kline..... I have nothing but good things to say about the team and entire process of having them remover!!! Kudos

Went to scheduled doctor appointment only to be told all doctors are at a convention meeting,they shouldvecalled me to reschedule it,billed my insurance $519.00 for a nurse practitioner and was told to make another appointment so doctor could diagnose me?needless to say I did not!place is a rip off.There is no way to put a zero star rating here or it wouldve been.No Patients care here.
