The techniques taught here are so elegant and simple. I cant believe how quickly they work-in a matter of minutes! Granted, it takes perseverance and practice to make them a habit but they are ingenious in the way they utilize the dogs own motivations to affect a desired behavior.Brawley or English bulldog LOVES coming here.

Effective positive reinforcement training, that your dog will love! My dog gets excited every time we reach the parking lot. They have helped me with both basic obedience and some more difficult behaviors. Im not sure how I would have raised my puppy without them.

We are there for puppy kindergarten. It is a great setup and we are very pleased with the instructors. A very good value.Since completing PK, we have continued with private lessons that have worked well for our dog and are a great value.

My rescue dog has a lot of issues with reactivity, so I was very nervous about taking her to a group class - but Im so happy that we found Wholistic Hound! We took the Good Dog 101 class with Sandy, and now I actually get compliments from other dog owners about how well-trained she is. I also no longer fear crossing paths with other dogs on our walks. As a bonus, the course was so much fun. In advance of our first class, I told the staff by email that I had a reactive dog, and I appreciated that they took the time to learn more about her behavior The class had 6-7 other dogs in it, but everyone got personal attention. The course covered good manners, basic commands (sit/stay/down/wait/and many others), and polite walking. After every session, handouts with the homework for the week and descriptions of the exercises were given out. Sandy always gave us the space to bring up dog issues we were having at home that she could address for the whole class. We even got tips for how to train when you cant find the time in your busy schedule - it feels like they truly thought of everything.I completely adore the staff here. Sandy often had Leil and Diann assisting her during class, and you can tell that the whole team is passionate about what they do. All in all this is a great environment to strengthen your bond with your dog - especially if youre a first-time dog owner. I will definitely be going back for Good Dog 102, and look forward to exploring the scent work course as well.

Clean, well cared for facility with quality equipment. Highly trained and certified instructors. Something for everyone. They have their own parking lot and relief area. Focused on positive training, fun, and safety for you and your buddy.

I just started agility lessons here this week, and it was great! Tracy Hirsch, the instructor, was fantastic -- very knowledgable and a great teacher -- the facility was quite nice for an urban, indoor center, and the equipment was great. Highly recommend it, and Im looking forward to trying other classes there!

Love this place! The change in my Luckys (my dog) behavior has been amazing and I keep asking myself why didnt I do this sooner? We have had three sessions with Ms. Modell to work on Luckys attention span and also her reaction to other dogs when out for a walk - it was pretty embarrassing when people would see us coming and move to the other side of the street or park. Lucky is so much more relaxed on our walks and even at home - really enjoying getting her out for walks now and she seems to be enjoying it more as well.Ms. Modell says she trains dogs and their people - which I thought was great. Training at Wholistic Hound is positive training with qualified trainers and it works! There was no chance of me taking Lucky to a place that uses punishment based training like shock collars or choke collars.Cant recommend this place enough and looking forward to the next couple sessions with Ms. Modell (trainer and owner of the business)!

Ive been taking my dog the the foundation for canine sports class and it is great. Sandy does a nice job instructing in a beautiful well equipped space.
