Go in for a cleaning and he charges $495 for 1/4 your mouth without telling you so -- and he isnt a periodontist. He said I needed a bridge. After that a Georgetown U. graduate dentist gave me the full cleaning for $210 and he said my teeth are fine. Ackerman has to advertise so much; no one goes more than once.

I didnt grow up going to the dentist, so when I started going to Dr Ackermans practice he had a series of unpleasant truths for me. He presented them in a manner that helped me understand the severity of the situation but also presented me with a treatment plan to address the problems.Dr Ackerman also referred me to a surgeon for removal of wisdom teeth and that went amazing.There is a second doctor at this practice as well, and he receives equally glowing reviews from me, though I cant remember his name (Im bad with names).The hygienist here is a hoot. Shes funny and she gets your teeth clean while answering all of your questions.Thats kind of a theme here, these guys answered all of my questions very well.Im glad these folks are my dentists.
