It starts at management and ends there. Every communication weve had with Acorn has been lackluster. Over time, it became miserable. The technicians they send are variables. Please do not call them therapists. It has the same mouth feel as sandwich artists.Lets get this right. There are actual, qualified, people that work for Acorn. They are spread incredibly thin. The back office claims to communicate with customers. Why we never received notice of cancellation from them? Not sure, I would hope they have a valid excuse. Ive never heard one.Our original provider was bought up by Acorn. The service quality plummeted. You would think that more resources equals better service. In this case we have poor management and poor vetting.Last but not least, ABA has many flaws. Please do your research. Advocate for your children.Autism Speaks is not a great resource! Neurodiversity, like any diversity, should be embarrassed. Thanks for reading.
Weve tried a couple ABA providers in the area, and Behavior Basics has been the best by far. Their therapists are great and well-trained, and easy to work with. They do a good job hiring skilled therapists and match them well with clients. Im very thankful for BB.
