I recently visited this location with my mother. A sales associate asked us to wear a mask - to which we complied. However, there were numerous other patrons in the store not wearing masks, and they were not challenged to put on masks by sales associates. There was a man who checked out before me who purchased a gift card from the same employee who asked my mother and I to wear masks - and he was not asked to wear a mask. He walked into the store not wearing a mask, and completed his transaction without wearing a mask, and was not challenged. I have an issue with disparate treatment of customers by sales staff - if Sales associates ask one set of customers to be masked, all customers should be asked to wear masks. My mom felt very singled-out by this incident, and the inequity of treatment by sales staff did not seem fair at all. Im disappointed in the management of this store - and the store was a mess. It appeared as though they were in the middle of a reset, but there was product everywhere and much of the displays and shelves were empty. Based on this experience, I doubt I will return to this location.

Very friendly employees are very helpful to help you find your need for your hair are other products like for your skin face and you can find a lot of stuff you cant find it other hair departments

Ladies were not interested in coming out from behind the front counter. Still requiring masks even after mandate has been lifted.😷

Whenever they change the stuff on the shelves there were no clear signs as to where the items were moved to. It was pleasant not to be bombarded by sales people when we walked through the door so that was a plus. We found two shades of lipstick on sale that the wife loved and look forward to testing the stuff out.

2 stars for the lady who washed my hair, so nice and professional. A different lady cut my hair. I left with damp, messy hair because she rushed me out! She cut my hair way too short and my hair doesnt even closely resemble what I asked for. I even used a picture as a reference. And I was overcharged $10. So disappointed. I left very upset.

Worst customer service in Louisiana!!!Rude and ugly, rather stand around and talk to each other. Never ever anyone to help you with anythingI have walked around store for an hour and not one person offered helpWent to store to return item, lady Very obviously did not want to help And was upset that she had to stop hanging out with her coworkers and chitchatting, Refused to let me return my item with the receipt because I bought it 32 days ago because their policy is now 30 days. I have been a diamond elite member for many years and I am full aware of their return policy and that this woman was completely wrong. I called customer service and all they could do was apologize and tell me to go back to the store which I don’t think I’m ever going to go back to that store I’d rather throw away the item and lose the money thing go back and continuously deal with the rude customer service since the day they opened.Store is always Disorganized and dirty0 stars

The Ulta store in the mall in Alexandria, Louisiana has absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I stayed in the store 35 minutes and no one offered any help. I had three children with me & had to ask her 4 or 5 times for assistance. I LOVE ULTA. I love all the products but the customer service at this particular location is total trash.

3-4 workers were congregated together talking in front of display and never offered to assist me nor anyone else. I was obviously struggling to find something but they appeared to be bothered at the notion of helping. cashier was very sweet but otherwise, the customer service has really went down at Ulta. yes, you can find makeup there that you cant anywhere else but that is the only thing they have going for them right now in my opinion

Stood around by the foundation for 5 minutes looking for someone to help match me a color. I walked to the back to find 4 or 5 employees sitting together. They saw me and gave me a blank look until I asked for help. They looked around at each other like nobody wanted to do it and finally one guy said hed help. He tried one color and said it wasnt a match. He wiped it off then someone called out to him thatd shed finish taking care of me. He told me that he was off the clock and shed take good care of me. Well, she didnt. Because she walked off, talking to people, never came over to help. I put the eyeliner i had down. Both employees saw me leave and didnt care. Came in to buy MAC. Left with nothing.

Store is huge with lots of great brands. All sales associates were extremely helpful. Great return policy and coupons.

Andrew (he claims he’s a store manger) was one of the rudest cashiers and store employees I’ve come into contact with lately. He claims Ulta a policy and refused to help solve my problem, I told him I would call Ulta to verify. He invited me to do so. Of course he was wrong and the online customer service was amazing and solved my issue without problem! I called him back to let him know he was wrong and that he should refrain from giving out incorrect information. He then states, it’s the store manager’s choice whether or not they make a return or exchange. Ummm ok Andrew! Get you some management classes, conflict resolution, and definitely customer service if you plan to excel in the role you claim sweetie.

How can u not love this store if your a woman. Even men hint hint remember all women love this store. Never had a bad experience in any of the ULTA stores I have shopped at.

I really like Ulta. But, I went specifically to get my birthday item. The first time I shopped Ulta, when checking out, I used my daughters account there so she would get credit for my purchase (she shops there more than I). Well, when I gave my daughters account I was told I couldnt get my birthday item unless I had an email coupon. Never been a problem before, they did have an account under my name, but no email coupon. So I did not get my birthday item. And believe me, I was looking forward to it, they are usually good. Very disappointed.

The lady was nice but sucked horribly at makeup. I came to get my makeup done for a wedding but she didnt even know how to blend!! I literally fixed my eyeshadow infront of them from how terrible they suck at makeup. However, I also got my hair curled which was alright. The curls ended up messing up like 15 minutes after. Totally not worth the money.

I stood in the store for about five minutes at the M.A.C. counter and none of the associates volunteered to help me. Two of the young ladies stood at the cash register talking to an associate who was helping customers with purchases. This is not the first time that I have visited this store and not received customer service.

It was kinda grimy in the store. I love ulta but it was a hot mess.

Other than being shown what isle a product was on I was not engaged in any conversation. My sister in law and my self were prepared to spend quite a bit on IT make up if we could have had questions answered. There was only one other customer in the store so its not like they were busy. Ill order from QVC.

Horrible experience. My hair cut is completely uneven and gapped up. It literally looks like a blindfolded six year old cut my hair. Now I have to go to another salon and hope theres enough hair left for them to even it out. I wish I could post a photo.

Just a regular ulta store....they did not have tester wands or cleaner to get swatches or make up off... so i couldnt test anything out.

U can find a variety of products from low to high end!!

EPIC FAILURE AT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called this Ulta to see if they had a product, then drove 30 minutes one way only to find out they have not had that product in a while. This staff is VERY POOR at customer service. Driving 30 minutes home empty handed.

The store is setup in a clustered and confusing way. The staff seem on point at asking if you need help but lack the ability to assist with technical questions. Check out times are average for a store of this size.
