Alexandria Audiology checks all of my personal standards of care (not in specific order:) Professionalism, high-level of costumer service, knowledgeable, acute listening skills, translation of medical diagnosis into laymans terms, detailed orientated, and friendly. I will gladly go back and tell all of my friends!

Ive had some concerns about sensitivity to loud sounds.So I had my hearing tested at Sonus by Heather.I think she is excellent and very professional. I highly recommend her. And she is a nice person.Heather asked me a few questions, looked inside my ears, and we began the test. The test was inside a small booth. She put headphones on me and asked me to push a button when I heard a sound. She explained it exactly as it occurs and it was easy.Heather spoke with me about the test results and made a suggestion for a follow up to an ENT.A couple comments:I am always a little nervous about any medical visit or medical test. She is very reassuring and I felt better right away.Heathers explanation of what might be going on with me made sense to me, so thats good.

The best hearing test Ive ever taken and Ive taken quite a few. The test went quickly but thoroughly. The doctor and her staff are extremely helpful and pleasant.

I had a great experience working with Julie - she provided all the information I needed to make a decision on which hearing aids to get, explained everything to me about how they work and saw me back to answer any further questions and see how I was doing. I have been coming to Alexandria Hearing Center, now Sonus, for 21 years ever since I moved to this area. Ive been working with Heather for 8 years. I have been wearing hearing aids for 50 years and have had many audiologists. So if Im still going in to see Heather then that should tell you something. Heather keeps up with the latest technologies that goes on behind these modern hearing devices. She is kind and professional and will work with you to get your issue resolved. You will be warmly greeted by Barbara when you first walk in.

I liked Heather so much, I sent my mother there. My mother was thrilled, too. Heather is very caring and professional. She took her time with both of us, and was very responsive to our concerns. She answered all our many questions with great patience. I highly recommend her.

I was having continuing trouble with my Phonak hearing aids which I bought from Sonus about a year ago. The doctor sent my one hearing aid in to the factory and when that didnt work, she sent both of them in and I got much better results. She put much effort into making sure I could hear the best I could with these hearing aids and was very concerned about me which was much appreciated. Me and my ears thank you very much!

A year ago I went to an urgent care because I suddenly lost total hearing in my left ear. I contacted Heather immediately and she diagnosed my hearing loss which was later confirmed by the doctor. Along with my sudden hearing loss I was also experiencing tinnitus and Heather explained the cause and when it would go away. She told me to go to an ENT doctor immediately. Heather explained the chances of hearing again was determined on how quickly I received treatment. After my first hearing test it was confirmed there was no measurable sound coming from my ear. I was extremely emotional during this time and Heather was there to provide support, comfort, understanding and knowledge. I would not have gotten through this if it werent for Heathers knowledge and experience. It was such a relief to know when I needed her she was there. She was there for my entire treatment and hearing tests. She actively took part in my recovery because I sent her the results of all of my hearing tests. I consulted her on which hearing aids to purchase and she took the time to explain the setup and the use of the aids. I am so very thankful for all of Heathers help. She was so patient and was always available when I needed her. I am truly blessed to have such an excellent audiologist who not only provides support but has so much knowledge and experience with all aspects of the hearing process. The aids Heather provided are superb and have helped so much. They fit perfectly, provide wonderful hearing and are so easy to use.

I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD HEAR THIS WELL AGAINI am a Registered Nurse and a long-time wearer of hearing aids (since 1982). I have worn a variety of styles and brands over the years. Heather expertly matched my hearing loss to the devices that best meet my needs. I can now move from quiet to noisy environments and barely need to adjust my aids. I can use the telephone, hear my fellow choral singers and enjoy the birds outside. After dealing for years with another hearing aid provider I contacted Heather Siskovic at Sonus in Alexandria. She proved to be pleasant, competent and on top of the latest technology. Best of all she worked hard on my case (which was a bit complicated by the fact that I am a retired government employee with a certified job-related disability) and was able to obtain all the necessary authorizations for reimbursement. This took a huge burden off my back. Heather is a true professional and I can highly recommend her to anyone experiencing a hearing loss.
