I’ve seen her at this place for more than 10 sessions during which she addressed most of my symptoms. I have been dealing with chronic pain for almost a decade. Been through a lot of treatment stateside and overseas. Attended several physical therapy treatment as well and nothing has helped until I found Dr. Ueno. He was able to answer all my question in my first consultation, explained things thoroughly especially about the treatment process and what to expect and most importantly he listens. I never had an acupuncture treatment before. I have tried all the available options for me that my insurance will pay and I was not a good candidate for surgery either so I kind of like at the end of my rope. I have been a patient for 2 years and I am glad that I made the commitment on September 2019. Dr. Ueno helped tremendously in managing the pain, most especially for me to be able to enjoy what life has to offer. I recently saw Dr.Mark for both acupuncture and cupping treatments. Both his level of care and knowledge were very impressive! I was treated for some hormonal imbalances I was experiencing and Dr. Mark was upfront and thorough about a treatment plan. The herbs I was offered were extremely affordable and effective. I appreciated that I only needed 1 acupuncture treatment per week, making it more cost effective. I was at my wits end and frustrated with western medicine pushing more hormones at me while Dr. Mark was able to achieve balance in only about a month and a half of treatment! My very first session I could feel a difference and an improvement! Sadly I am moving out of state and Dr. Mark even went through the effort to find me quality practitioners in my new state! Such a wonderful and professional practice, I looked forward to coming every week :)

Mr. Ueno is a gentle, capable healer. After taking down a comprehensive health history, he listened carefully and formulated a treatment plan. There was a huge difference in my frozen shoulder after just one or two visits. My physical therapist was amazed at the dramatic recovery of mobility and encouraged me to continue treatments. The office is clean and very serene/peaceful for relaxation. There is a massage therapist who also works out of the office.

Dr. Mark is phenomenal. Sachiko is very attentive and caring. The entire staff is a pleasure to deal with. All traditional American medicine has failed me completely in terms of remedying my migraines. I really appreciate Dr. Mark for his thorough manner of explaining each point he targets and which organs or meridians it stimulates. I feel dramatically better after each session.

If I could express this company with one word.. it would be professional The front desk staff to the doctor that provides acupuncture. All are great at what they do. Highly recommended.

I cannot recommend Dr. Ueno (TJ) enough. I came to him when no doctor or medicine could help me with my heartburn, and after a course of treatment for several months, I am 90% better. This was approx 2 years ago and I have stayed better. I do come back for tune ups maybe once every three months and those keep my heartburn at bay. I do not understand Eastern Medicine but I do know that TJs treatments gave me significant qualify of life back. I am so grateful for his help!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. With some trepidation, I made an appointment for my first acupuncture.with Mark Bodzislaw. I was immediately comfortable upon entering their offices and greeted by Sachiko.During the first session, Mark took my health history and and spent time explaining acupuncture and its philosophy. During every follow-up appointment he has taken time to answer any of my questions. Mark is quiet and soft spoken and very gentle, inspiring confidence in his approach. Best of all, his therapy has helped relieve most of my knee pain. He also took time to research an unusual issue that has made me uncomfortable for some time and for which there is no traditional medical treatment. He is continuing to work with me on this and there has been noticeable improvement.I cannot recommend Caring Acupuncture enough.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Mark Bodzislaw for a few weeks now, and it is hard to express just how much better we feel in such a short amount of time. During the pandemic our stress levels increased dramatically, resulting in actual physical symptoms we had never encountered before. Dr. Mark has an innate understanding of how our mental health impacts our physical health. We’ve been to many acupuncturists throughout the years and no one does it better than Dr. Mark. He truly listens, and has such a beautiful, gentle, non judgmental way about him. We feel so lucky to have found Dr. Mark, and during these extraordinary times the best thing we can do is take better care of ourselves. Additionally, the office is immaculately clean, the staff is very friendly and they are following very strict cleaning protocols between patients, which makes us feel very comfortable and safe while having treatments.

Let me begin by stating, I have tried acupuncture twice before coming to Caring Acupuncture. Both previous times were underwhelming, and during the encounter prior to this one, the owner was not practicing proper COVID protocols, so I didnt return. So, to my surprise when I was searching the internet just over two weeks ago, who knew I would find a place which such a welcoming staff and overall atmosphere.I was seen by Dr. Taejean Converti who started with a discussion concerning my medical history, current diet, and main concerns. She then performed a physical assessment, and treated me for two separate issues during the first session. I just saw her again on the 9th of February, and I can truly say I am feeling some relief from my cervical radiculopathy. Moreover, Dr. Taejean took her time with me, checking to make sure I was fine during every step of the procedure, and didnt make me feel like she was rushing to get to the next patient. Dr. Ueno is amazing! I visited him to help my chances in getting pregnant with IVF. Before the first treatment, he asks many questions to understand your background and to help treat the issue at hand. I was hesitant to try acupuncture but I am a true believer now.

Dr Ueno provides great care. He always takes the time to ask detailed questions about my situation and tailor his treatment to suit my needs. He takes the time to explain his approach and respects my decisions. I never felt rushed during my visit. Everyone I met at the front desk has always been very friendly and helpful.

I found Dr. Ueno after calling around looking for an acupuncturist who would help boost my fertility. He made it clear there were no guarantees, and that he was willing to work with me if I was up for it. Thats all I needed to hear: the warmth, encouragement and positivity in his words. That positive energy was very much present when I met him face-to-face. I have been his patient now for several months and counting, and know that, regardless of the outcome for me, I will continue seeing him. Thanks to his services, I feel much more relaxed, and sleep better too.The receptionist, who is also his wife, Sachiko, is a dream!! Very responsive and caring. She offers V-steam which I plan to try. She has given me tips on using lemon oil and took the trouble to recommend several Japanese black vinegar. Like I said they are both really beautiful people.

Caring Acupuncture is a calm and pleasant atmosphere. I adore Sachiko, she is a pleasant sweet person who genuinely cares for her clients and their well-being. So far my treatments with the doctor have been great and he follows up with you after your initial service and the staff is always friendly. He sent additional information about his practice and services to make me more aware of what he did since I was new to acupuncture. So far I have had two visits and will be continuing my journey to see where it takes me.

Mr. T is Amazing, Ive been seeing him since June 2018 and had one session per week! I cannot thank him enough for having my life back! I was a difficult case for him to handle but he did not give up on me and was always positive, the sessions are amazing especially if you are having a bad day, that will relax you so much.He is very knowledgeable and knows what his taking about, professional, caring and great attitude, very positive and keeps you hopefully.. I started with many issues and one of the major ones was my liver and anxiety. With the sessions and the help of the Chinese medicine, I am back to having my life back! Thank you Mr. T and team! Caring Acupuncture and Tetsuhiro Ueno have been helpful in treating me, especially my endometriosis. My flow and abdominal cramps are manageable for the first time in over 20 years. His diagnosis was spot on, and the treatment plan was extremely beneficial. I highly recommend their service. The atmosphere is clean and soothing.

I saw Dr Ueno for fertility issues. Unfortunately, I had to move and was unable to see him for longer than a few months. In that time, while I did not become pregnant, ALL of my PMS issues were resolved. There was no doubt that something positive was happening within my body. I wish I had been able to continue seeing him. The facility is lovely - modern and clean, and I never had to wait for an appointment. Despite being stuck with needles - I really enjoyed coming here!! His wife at the desk is such a sweetheart, and I miss discussing how cute our dogs are :) I highly recommend.

I received acupuncture treatment with Dr. Tetsuhiro Ueno, at Caring Acupuncture, for approximately 3 months, with the hope of improving my FSH numbers for Oocyte Cryopreservation. Dr. Ueno was kind, personable, professional, and very knowledgeable. He asked lots of questions, each session, to determine what points to focus on and tailored my treatment based on my responses to his questions. I think the combination of me taking vitamins and supplements and the acupuncture treatments and herbs provided resulted in a significant improvement in my numbers. My FSH level went from 18.7 to 6.27. In addition, my AMH went from .45 to 1.01.. I highly recommend Dr. Ueno and Im thankful to him for helping me achieve my goal!

Dr. Ueno has been treating my menopausal symptoms since March. I no longer have night sweats, and I sleep longer, deeper and better. My daytime energy has changed dramatically. It is nothing short of miraculous.Its unfortunate that so many of us rely entirely on Western medicine, and acupuncture is seen as a last resort. I wish it hadnt been that way with me. This practice and Tetsuhiro Ueno in particular, have been a godsend in to me and my journey to parenthood. He treated me through IVF, embryo implantation, pregnancy where he treated ICP and helped me keep baby till full term, and postpartum. I have struggled with frequent headaches and migraines for years. They were frequent and debilitating. I had seen a few neurologists and been prescribed various medications (Topamax, Amitriptyline, Sumatriptan among others), but nothing seemed to work. None of them provided consistent or long-term relief. I heard that acupuncture could help. I also underwent MRIs and sleep studies, but these did not provide insight for successful treatment. Then I went to Dr. Ueno. He is a very calm and considerate man, who is very interested in listening to my symptoms. He offers helpful suggestions, but he does not push nor attempt to force his methods or idea. After a few sessions, I had noticed substantial improvement. The mild headaches that were a daily occurrence disappeared, and the major migraines were not as intense nor as frequent, and that was a relief. I stopped visiting Dr. Ueno when we left the area. I will miss Caring Acupuncture for their cordial and family-like treatment.

When I first started visiting Caring Acupuncture, I was struggling with some upper respiratory issues that were keeping me awake all night. I cannot thank Dr. Tetsuhiro Ueno and his practice enough. After starting a desk job, I began to experience terrible neck pain. I tried everything from massages to cortisone shots with little relief. Frustrated that nothing was working, I decided to try acupuncture. Tetsuhiro explained the process and made me feel comfortable, and after a few treatments I finally started to feel relief! I even continued to venture out to Alexandria when he decided to open his own practice. He truly cares about his clients. One day I got stuck in the lovely DMV traffic and I was over an HOUR late for my appointment. The office called to make sure I was okay and still gave me treatment even though I was terribly late. I could go on and on. But bottom line, if you are considering acupuncture, I could not remember this office more. Tetsuhiro is wonderful to work with.

Several years later and I continue to be a patient of Dr. Ueno. His knowledge, experience, and professionalism are what you desire in a doctor. I have been seeing Dr. Ueno since 2014. I have now followed him to his new location where he has his own practice. Dr. Ueno has helped me through several health issues and I will continue to turn to him. Most importantly he helped me overcome a terrible case of tinnitus. I now see him less often for my tinnitus as my condition is very manageable. Thankfully I found Dr. Ueno at a time when I had little hope that my condition could be managed. After countless days and nights of googling cures for tinnitus I found a doctor who claimed he could treat the condition. This doctor is Dr. Ueno, I went to him with faith that something could be done. I had previously seen my primary physician and 2 ear specialist from 2 different otolaryngology offices. All doctors told me there was nothing they could do. My tinnitus was caused by exposure to loud noise. I had hearing tests done and it showed a bit of hearing loss during very high pitched tones. The last doctor recommended I try alternative medicine. Acupuncture was my form of alternative medicine and I can say that Dr. Ueno doesn’t just claim he can treat tinnitus I can guarantee he is the hope that people suffering from tinnitus need. Although he has helped me with other health conditions I emphasize my tinnitus condition in case someone is googling today in search for that hope I once saw myself searching for several years ago. Please seek help from Dr. Ueno. He now has his own practice, Caring Acupuncture. On a more personal level I’ll add that Dr. Ueno is very kind and truly listens to you. In 2017, one of my resolutions was to find a permanent solution to my constant sinus headaches and ear ache. I have had this condition for at least 6 years. I have been to three different ENT specialists, had a CT scan had my ENT scoped – where they insert the tube through your nose and see the inside on a camera. I was popping ibuprofen constantly to get some escape from the constant pain. I also had sleep issues and my appetite was crazy… I need to lose some weight!I found Dr. Ueno after careful research online and made an appointment. That is when my miracle begun. He listened attentively and explained what acupuncture does for the body. I have been a constant patient since then. He has phased my session out gradually. My symptoms have reduced significantly. They are not completely gone but I know it is a matter of time. I look forward to sessions – and this is a lady who is terrified of shots and needles. I strongly believe that my issues will be resolved soon.Dr. Ueno has be the best beside manners I have experienced in a long time. He is a true and honest acupuncturist.
