Came in to get a sports physical for my daughter they were open on a Sunday which was very convenient we just dropped in after church signed in and filled out paperwork and got called to go back staff was really nice and very efficient definitely recommend PARKMed for their quickness, caring, friendly manner!

Good quick experience. However, lady at the front desk was a little rude. Cindy. Maybe just having a bad day but still not very professional attitude.

Being referred to another clinic that’s 20 miles away is not “right down the road” and having the door say you close at 7pm when really it’s at 5pm is extremely misleading.

The bigger blonde lady in the front was completely rude. I got here at 1pm and checked in on their computer. They have am option on the computer to leave and come back and still save your spot. So I did that. I got a automatic text on my phone from them. And didnt hear anything back from them for an hour so I came back. The blonde lady in the front had the worst attitude and had no ideas what ti was talking about until I showed her that the computer had that option. No one in the front knee that option was there. So I lost my spot in line and had to re check in like I wasnt even here and am just now getting seen and 3:40. Not a good first time experience at all and I will not be back.

My family and I have been going to the office for more than 20 years and I will never deal with this office ever again after the incredibly poor service I have received during my past several interactions. I have severe asthma that requires maintenance medications that I have been on for over a decade and writen many times by GP. Despite providing detailed oral and written directions during my in-person visits and repeated follow up phone calls, this office continually writes the during perscription (they have written the wrong strength dosage, wrong inhaler type, wrong daily dosage, and wrong monthly pickup. The office is now requiring me to come in to pay for a second visit to correct the mistake they made sending over the perscription instead of checking my file. The level of incompetence is shocking and after dealing with this office miswriting the exact same perscription a minimum of six different times, I have had enough.

I want to give special thanks to dr. Tucker and Lisa for going out of theyre way time after time after time to help me. The whole staff is wonderful as well and they really care about theyre patients. Ive been going to them for years. This is not just a walk in clinic but my primary care doctors and I dont think I could find any better. Thanks again and keep up the good work

Would recommend in a heart beat. New to the area so dont have a Dr set up yet and needed to be seen. They were the 1st urgent care open in Maryville so it was where I went. Being from California you forget what bed side manner is and are rushed in and out of a room as quick as they can. Not here Dr. Comer and the nurse were veryhelpful but also this is what we are going to do from here to get you well and took the time to explaineverything not just yep hers a prescription and out the door. Would definitely be back if ever needed!

I have always been more than pleased with the care I have received at Park Med in Alcoa, TN. Dr. Rooke and his staff are great. Theyre professional, caring, knowledgable, and I have always been pleased with the quality of their service and the speed and efficiency in which they deliver it. I highly recommend them.

It’s taken my husband weeks to get a prescription and he still doesn’t have one. Done everything they’ve requested. It’s cynthroid and he has to have it and despite that, the nurses neglect to answer or return any calls. The pharmacy has even requested more provider info and they can’t even get it. It’s a little ridiculous honestly.

I have been a patient of Dr. John Rooke and Dr. Bill Tucker for about 10 years. I trust these guys with my life!!!! I do Photography as a hobby and Dr. Rooke is always telling me he sees my pictures on TV. That means a lot to me!! Plus, he asks if my family is doing well. That means a lot to me!! My other Doctors have told me that Dr Rooke and Dr. Tucker are EXCELLENT doctors and they TRUST what Dr. Rooke and Dr. Tucker have to say!!!! They are VERY Professional!!!! There are not enough POSITIVE comments I could make about Dr. Rooke and Dr. Tucker!!!! They are always helping me and I trust them 1 MILLION PERCENT!!!!! Dr. Rooke and Dr. Tucker will ALWAYS be my doctors!!!!! I wish there were 10 stars I could rate for Dr. Rooke and Dr. Tucker!!!!

The doctors are great but the older lady working the front, I believe her name is Cindy? Is incredibly rude. I’ve gone in several times & also called & every single time she is rude to me.

Very unprofessional. Took my girlfriend there at the beginning of March for a possible broken ankle. The NP took one look at her ankle and said that its broken (which it was) and told us to go to the ER and that she wouldnt charge us. No x rays were done or anything. 2 months later we get a bill for almost 300 dollars. We call and explain that the NP said that they werent going to charge us. The person we spoke to told us that its already been billed and that were basically out of luck. Do not give them your business. They do not know how to properly bill and refuse to listen to anyone.

I go to this place to get checked over a very serious pain an get hassle over no having my insurance card on me. I know for a fact they can pull that information up on their computer. This is absolutely rediculious. I will never use these idiots ever again.

Very satisfied with the friendly and efficient staff. Bill Tucker, PA-C was very thorough and spent a considerable amount of time explaining my condition and answeringmy questions. I was extremely impressed with his professionalism and caring attitude. I will definitely see him for all my future medical needs.

I saw Dr Rooke for years and Dr Tucker and really liked both of them,but the quality of care and the receptionist staff has vastly fallen,so I will be going to the one in Knoxville. Also theres always tons of people who are very sick here and not told to cover their faces, receptionists are straight up Rude here

The best walk in clinic I have ever been in. Even when the lobby was near capacity I have never waited for more than 45 minutes to get called back. Dr. Rook, Dr.Webb and Dr.Tucker i have seen them all.They all take time to listen to you and address all of your concerns. I am seriously thinking of making them my primary care doctor. They are close to home and quick to get in and out of

Had a really good visit. I was treated kindly and the provider listened to me. Receptionist was warm, caring, and welcoming. Nurse was not the best Ive ever had, but the PA who saw me more than made up for it.

Doctors have always been attentive, and have taken care of me and my family for years. Quick, clean, and extremely helpful. The only downside is you do not know when your favorite doctor will be in or not, but all around a great experience for me and my family. From broken bones, to the flu their doors have always been open, their care has been great.

I have always found Dr. Rook to be outstanding in his profession. He is courteous, respectful, and polite. I will never go anywhere than PMUCC. Dr Rook has never missed a diagnosis in the 10 to 15 times I have been there. All I can say is if your going to have someone to take a look, best be Rook.

Ive been seen there for several years. I mainly use as a walk in clinic. Seems like I always get sick on weekends. I dont really have a primary doc. Dr. Rooke has always treated me and is always kind and caring. My husband also sees him. I have never had to wait very long, at least not anything like the hours and hours Ive waited at other walk in clinics in Blount Co. Friendly staff and great care. Have recommended Park Med to several people and will continue to do so.

I have been with Park Med for 22 years. I started at 18 years old with Dr. Webb and he was awesome. The Park Med closed down by my house and they moved him to Alcoa and I live in Corryton. So I followed him to Alcoa, I couldnt imagine starting over with a new doctor and after a couple years, Dr. Webb became a travelling doctor for them and therefore I had to start seeing Dr. Tucker. Oh my! Hes a very nice man, and I have a lot of GI problems and I absolutely love him. Hes listen to me, helped me understand, and is just a caring and sweet man who loves his career! Ive never had any problems with rudeness from anyone there. And like I said Ive been going for 22 years.

Ive been going to Parkmed urgent care on and off for 2 years and they have mostly been really good until today...I got there at 1:35 (they close at 2pm) and they informed they have already taken there last patient of the day...I explained I had driven down from seymour just to see them BC I they know my medical history but that did not matter they could not spare the 25 minutes to see me...especially when I am self pay and there is a clinic next to my apt for half the price $35 doesnt make you have much faith in the people there anymore

I am very upset with this Urgent Care. I live in Northern Kentucky and my children vacationed in Townsend, TN with my parents. My daughter had a sore throat and was running a high temperature. My mother came to this Urgent care for my daughter to be treated and was refused care even after I called them myself on my daughters behalf they refused to treat her. They have an office policy that is not friendly to out of town patients. In the future I will send a written letter with my children when traveling with out me, but I failed to do so and thus my daughter was refused treatment. I have worked in health care for several years and even in the ER. We would never refuse treatment to a child if there parent wasnt present we would call that parent and retrieve verbal permission. I would suggest the people who run this Urgent Care look in to addressing this observed office policy.Luckily there was a near by Urgent Care who agreed to treat her so she could enjoy the rest of her trip.ThanksMelissa Dinser

I had bronchitis & went to ParkMed for the first time today. Dr Rooke & his entire staff were so kind and caring! I highly recommend this practice I will certainly be back. Wait time was not very long, Dr Rooke was in my room less than one minute he was awesome! I can’t say anything negative!

I love the staff and the doctors are phenomenal. But I have one problem and that is with the lady named Cindey? Older lady with short blond hair that works in the small office, who everytime I call or I walk-in she never fails to have an attitude with me! I have never been treated rudely at any clinic by anyone except for her. I understand sometimes people have their own problems but I do not like being talked to the way that I do when I enter a place where people are supposed to be helping me. There has never been a time where i’ve spoken tober and her be nice to me!

The doctor billed me $374 and I was there 10 minutes. He never even touched me. I was there for a doctors note for work. He wrote me a note that cost me $374.

WORST FRONT DESK EVER. Seriously, go anywhere else but here! Ive never met such condescending, apathetic, or bitter nurses in my life. You deserve to be treated by people who actually care and want to help you...ParkMed is not that place. What seems to present itself as a professional establishment is actually overseen by rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional staff members. I could not give this place a worse review...you cannot justify the sheer lack of human decency and compassion they display towards those who walk in their door looking for help.

We had an urgent medical need on vacation and received such good, efficient and caring service by Dr. Gwen and the staff. It was a huge relief to get the help we needed, especially away from home.

The front staff is great, The problem is Dr.Rooke... this doctor has now misdiagnosed me 3 times in the past 6 months.. I was hoping to see Dr. Tucker but Rooke was the only one.. so kinda didnt have a choice. Anyways, the past 2 times Ive had stomach issues he said it was bronchitis... as a matter of fact everytime I see him he diagnosed me with bronchitis. He also prescribed Hydrocodone to me, said it would help my cough even though I insisted that Robitusion was doing good... I didnt pick up the script for it.So I go this past Tuesday again he said I had bronchitis, even though I had all Flu like symptoms, even the nurse said.. after asking him twice about flu test, he still didnt test me. Said he was pretty sure I had bronchitis.. So not feeling any better today, i goto cvs walk in clinic and... wait for it... YEP, TESTED POSITIVE FOR THE FLU! And doctor said my lungs sounded clear, she wasnt sure why he diagnosed me with bronchitis I will not be going back to Dr. Rooke again!! I would not suggest him as a doctor.

My sister went here seeking help trying to understand why she continually feels dizzy. She had complained to me regarding her left ear bothering her and that everytime she turned her head a certain way she got light headed. She actually passed out on Friday and her daughter called an ambulance and took her to the ER. They said she had low potassium and that with the potassium pills she should be ok. I talked to her on Saturday and Sunday as I live in another state and she kept complaining about her ear and the lightheadedness. I urged her to go to urgent care as soon as possible. She told me that they were closed since Monday was a holiday and that my niece would not be able to drive her and that she did not feel real steady driving herself but wanted to find out what was going on. She went to ParkMed Urgent Care a place she has been before and was familiar with the doctors. The front desk refused to have her seen and told her the doctors would not see her because she had been to the ER. Im sorry but isnt this an Urgent Care facility meaning you are avoiding an ER but need help urgently. I personally called the office after my sister called me very upset that they sent her away and I was given the run around be the front desk secretary Heather (not sure if it is really her name since she refused to give a last name making me think she had caused trouble in the past). I would highly recommend you find somewhere to go with more compassion. Based on the previous posting here i dont think they really care about helping anyone they only want to make their lives easier - keep it up and you will be out of a job since no one will want to come to your clinic. I am absolutely appalled that they would send away someone who was lightheaded and seeking medical attention. Save yourself and your health and go somewhere else! I would really give a zero but it wouldnt let me.

I just recently had to argue to get a refill on blood pressure medication I need to keep me out of the ER. I was told it was my responsibility to have had made an appointment earlier on, even though that was never mentioned to me. Also, I told the rather rude receptionist that I had walked in a month earlier, waited a couple hours, and had to leave, but tried to make a future appointment, but the wait time was over 3 weeks. She pretty much called me a liar and said that was impossible. Luckily, the gracious doctor that she originally told me wasnt there, granted me the luxury of my prescription and I get to stay out of the hospital for at least a month! During these 30 days I will be finding someone else who will allow me to stay alive, and not make me feel like a piece of garbage. I would advise against visiting this place.Adding on to the original review, A few days ago when I got my refill at wal-mart I noticed that my Doctor had doubled my prescription and dosage. The tech at wal-mart tried to call them to sort it out, but nobody would answer even after being open an hour on a Saturday. It wasnt worth spending an hour on, and I was completely out, so I just told him I know my dosage, and would just split them like I did before. He was flabbergasted at the situation, but understood I vitally needed them and gave them to me. Dont ever go to park med alcoa if there is something urgently wrong with you. They originally prescribed me xanax to deal with hypertension, which they eventually caught on to later. Worse thing though, is the doctor (John Rooke) doubled my script because maybe he was annoyed one morning. That could kill people. I could dig into them over that, but I dont care to deal with them ever again. Just avoid this place like the plague, if you care about your well being,

I keep getting bills from this place I have paid and paid still getting bills from different drs I want it stopped have not been there in almost two years they keep sending bill to different lawyers just received two the other day and am paying one off now what do I do that money I need

I just went in on a Saturday morning at 9:30. Peak time for emergency clinics. I took a book to read and barely cracked it before they called me back. The PA examined me and gave me a prescription, and had me out of there in less than 20 minutes total.
