I never do reviews on here, but I was compelled to let everyone know how wonderful my experience was. I needed an appointment for an urgent foot issue and I was able to get seen the same day! Amazing. Also the young woman Danielle at the front desk was very professional, and efficient.

Visited Dr. Sotelo and his patient care is outstanding. He was attentive to my concerns and addressed my worries. The staff is super helpful and wonderful.I went in for a toe injury and he assisted with getting me back on my feet. Since my line of work is being on my feet all day, I really appreciate the time and care they took for me.

Every time I come in, everyone is so sweet and caring. They make you feel comfortable coming into the foot doctor even though no one likes going to the doctor! I 10/10 recommend

I have been a nurse 32 years; I am now 71. My career came to an end due to a condition called Charcot in my left foot.As a resident of CA for many years the podiatrists there in hindsight failed to hone in on what could have been a simple solution for an off/on again 5 year non ambulatory status, which would have increased my quality of life exponentially had they taken the time to find it.When I moved to Albuquerque, I discovered FOOT AND ANKLE SPECIALISTS on Menaul.As a nurse, I look for general atmosphere, expertise, and the demeanor of the staff in general.What I discovered at FOOT AND ANKLE SPECIALISTS was an example of how a doctors’ office SHOULD be, but in today’s standards is difficult if not impossible to find…hence the in-depth length of this review.I cannot express the joy, respect and most of all the restoration of living life as a normal human being, something not experienced since January of 2014.The main issue with Charcot (which for whatever reason), SHOULD have been resolved in CA had they simply discovered what Dr. Panck and Dr. Tozzoli zeroed in on seemingly immediately: there was a bone spur that had been creating the endless ulcers that prevented my having a life.Operation occurred, recovery zipped along per protocol, and I am able to walk around again in bare feet - something I had been told in CA I would never be able to do again.I also had some issues with my right foot and again, operation occurred, recovery had no setbacks and to say my quality of life went through the roof would be the understatement of the century!As for the staff, I see them more as friends than “staff.” There is a joyous atmosphere that permeates the office; rife with the hands on experience of being seen, heard and cared about.I would advise anyone dealing with the debilitating effects foot issues can rob an individual of (their autonomy, and over time feelings of self worth), to gift themselves with the experience that FOOT AND ANKLE SPECIALISTS on Menaul in Albuquerque bring.I realize my review is over the top, but I literally cannot say enough about my experience there and the impact they have had on my quality of life, and that is no hyperbole.Those who have lost mobility and/or have ongoing A to Z foot issues will understand the enormity of the above because life with chronic pain, immobility and dependence on others for the simplest of tasks, sometimes even self care - and to have that all turn around is a renewal not just regarding the physical but also the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of a human being.I don’t usually write reviews but I want to inform as many people as possible both as a nurse and as a patient what a treasure FOOT AND ANKLE SPECIALISTS on Menaul in Albuquerque are.I’m only giving 5 stars because there aren’t 10.🙏👍👍👍👍Kythe Sears

I was pleasantly surprised with my visit, after reading some of the recent reviews on google. The ladies in the front office were very professional and very nice. I saw Dr. Tozzoli for my foot. He was quick an efficient. Easy to talk to, and listened to my ramblings. Overall for having to go into a docs office, I had a good time.

I was having problems with my foot for years and couldn’t find a good place to help with my condition. After finally coming here, I’ve never had a problem with my foot again! Praise God! Amazing work and I will continue to come back!

Dr Tozzoli and his nurse Paloma rock. We get the best care and they are truly interested in your health and well being!!! I would HIGHLY recommend them for your feet and Ankles needs. I give them both TWO THUMBS UP👍👍

I have always gone to Santa Fe but decided to try here as its closer. First the girl who brought me it took her 1/2 hour as she said there were no notes and she wanted to start from scratch even though I am an established patient. She said it so many times that I asked should I leave and go back to Santa Fe? She then x rayed my ankles with no help stepping up nor was their a rail to hold on to as I am unbalanced with my ankle injury.The doctor came after she finished and I heard her repeating some of the things on my chart and a lot was lost in translation as I could hear them discussing me right outside the door. The doctor asked me no questions did not look at all the notes she had entered so I felt I had to correct what he had heard as it was my LEFT foot that was causing horrible pain up my leg to which he said I am going to give you a shot on the right foot and it will cure the left ankle and leg. The Albq. office was reluctant to give me an ultra sound as I had usually gotten until I convinced them. The doctor also ripped off the pads that were on my insoles that I had purchased at Foot and Ankle Spec, along with the paddings that were helping me and said they were not necessary.A few days later I was such in pain so I made an appt in Santa Fe to which they apologized, did an ultra sound and immediately found the area ON MY LEFT ANKLE that was causing my pain. I received and injection Its been one day and Im feeling so much better.

I had a great experience here. I needed a couple of ingrown toenails removed permanently. Dr.Sotelo and his team were very welcoming and had me fixed up in no time. I highly recommend this location.

Dr. Sotelo was knowledgeable, friendly, and I hope accurate - we’ll see if the referral to PT takes care of the problem! His diagnosis included a few potential problems, and starting with the most easy-to-treat, we’d be able to narrow down the issue.He communicated very well with me, a non-expert (duh!), and directed me on where I could read up more on my potential condition.He was also extremely helpful and went out of his way to call the PT location to see if they could get me in ASAP because I’m leaving town for a while in a few days- he did this even though I’m sure it could have been handled by a receptionist the next day (my appt. was at the end of the day).The office staff were also very friendly, and it seems a warm, family-like atmosphere.I highly recommend Dr. S and this office for your foot needs. :)

I am writing this review for my grandpa, Dickson, who is a patient of Dr. Sotelo. Dr. Sotelo makes my grandpa feel extremely special. He takes the time to really show his concern about my grandpas overall health, not just for his foot. Dr. Sotelo and his entire staff go above and beyond to make my grandpa fell welcomed, cared for, and loved. The way he is treated, makes it obvious the entire staff genuinely enjoys their job and wants the best for their patients overall health. All of the front desk ladies are always so welcoming and friendly. They make him feel like family instead of just another patient. 5 months ago Dr. Panek messed my foot up so bad. I have since seeked a attorney for malpractice do to the awful position he left me in. Post surgery he up and leaves. The screw is still in my foot and needs to come out. By who, I have no clue. No help from the doctor left trying to clean up Dr Paneks mess
