He did both of my parents hip replacements. Two for my mom one for my dad. All three replaced hips kept them pain free. We are so grateful.

Superb physician. Gave me a total knee replacement last week and in another few weeks willdo the other knee. Had I known how easy it could be with him at the helm, Id have had thisdone years ago. Conscientious, caring, and compassionate.

I had my knee replaced by Dr Mcennerney and it collapsed. I know it wasn’t his fault but I kept telling him “ something is wrong, I’m in a lot of pain”. For 2 years he did nothing. He had me convinced that I needed my hip replaced. I happen to go in on a fluke and saw a lay doctor who x- rayed it which Dr M did countless times. He called me back that day and said you need to schedule an appointment with a surgeon. Never told me why or wouldn’t. Haven’t been back since. I went to another Doctor they took out the collapsed knee. Because of the prolonged damage I now have permanent nerve damage and it constant pain not to mention a few other things. Since it took 2 years plus the statue ran out to sue him. But other wise he is a nice guy 👳‍♂️

Dr. Mcenerney did a hip replacement in 2011 for me. He. broke my femur putting in the stem and the pain was excruciating because he had the physical therapist “walk” me that night. Then I was sent to a rehab for 29 days to recover only to be sent back to the hospital for a week because of an infection at the surgical site. After leaving the rehab to go home, my hip dislocated 3 different times. Each time I had to go by ambulance to the ER to get it back in place. HORRIBLE PAIN! His response was I needed a brace. My post surgery office visits to his office were awful. His PA’s at that time we’re very rude and uncaring. I asked Dr Mcenenery for pain medication because of the awful pain I was having. His response was NO because “I would become a drug addict and have to go to rehab”. I will NEVER forget what he said!Soon after that, I found a wonderful, kind and compassionate and skilled surgeon. He replaced the ball in my hip because it was TOO SMALL, that’s why I was dislocating. My surgeon then had to do 2 more surgeries every few years to correct the BOTCHED JOB on my hip. To this day in 2019, I have pain in my hip and have had to walk with a cane or walker. So with my experience with this “orthopedic surgeon”, find someone else to do your surgery. There are skilled and excellent doctors other than this man in Albuquerque.

Every time I mentioned I was having my hips replaced by Dr Mcennerney, I heard nothing but positive responses. I felt like I was in capable hands with him performing the surgeries.
