Was in an accident a few days ago and was looking for somewhere to work the knots out. Had my first massage with Carrie today. She was amazing! Strong hands, knows how to bring the knots up and then work them out. She was also a lot of fun,can honestly say I have never had fun at a massage before.Looking forward to coming in and having some more work done.Thanks Carrie!!

Me and my partner are staying in Santa Fe. We did a little research and ended up in Albuquerque at Placidity for a couples massage. Boy did we make the right choice. I like deep massages, as deep as they can go. I was more than happy with the pressure and the thoroughness of the massage. They also used hot stones which was something I haven’t tried and it was amazing. Glad others left reviews before me- that’s how I made my choice.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a relaxing couples massage at Placidity. It was a quality massage at a reasonable price. We especially enjoyed the hot stones. I can only give this place four stars for a few reasons. We could hear the door chime every time someone walked in the door, and one of our masseuses went to go answer the door a few times and took a phone call (booking another massage) in our massage room. Maybe it was an off day, but it seems like they need a receptionist and more soundproofing on their front room.

Terrible costumer service!Cause of the directions I arrived 4 min late and instead of charging me, deduct time or just call to let me know they already had someone doing a massage (someone who just walked in) and wanted me to leave and come back when he was done!Never going back to this place! So disappointed ☹️ wasting my time.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The place was clean, the staff were very professional, and the prices were very economical. My massage therapist was Mei, and I received a deep tissue massage. She was very strong, did a great job relieving tension in my neck and back (which I was suffering from a headache), and was very professional. The hot stone massage was a great added bonus. I had no headache the next day, extremely reduced muscle tension, and felt pretty amazing. I would definitely go back.

Id ben suffering from severe neck pain for days. I went to a doctor and she said nothing showed up in the X-rays, and if I wanted an MRI done I would need to do six weeks of physical therapy first. So I scheduled a massage out of desperation.I cant for the life of me remember the name of my massage therapist on account of my prescribed muscle relaxants, but she was kind, pleasant, and strong as a bull. My massage was yesterday and this morning I woke up without neck pain for the first time in a week. I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars.

This is based on my mothers experience... they were entirely too rough. She repeatedly asked to massage more gently. If you like a hard massage, then you might like it. If you are looking for a relaxing experience with a relaxing touch, dont go here.

Bathroom is spotless with hand soap dispenser and disposable towels. Carries medium pressure massage was firm enough to relieve tension and sore mussels. The scalp rub was fantastic. You get your full hour and are not rushed. Suitable for men, women and couples.

This was the most EUPHORIC massage I have EVER received!! I have never experienced something like this before! I am extremely picky when it comes to massages. I have never found a massage therapist who knows how to do an in depth deep tissue massage. But Carrie proved me wrong in every single way. She puts in so much effort and her techniques are so professional. Afterwards I felt the most relief Id ever felt in my entire life. She got rid of all my tension due to stress and I am so thankful. My wife and I drove from our home in San Diego to Albuquerque the other day. After a 13 hour drive we were sore so we looked around for a massage place near our hotel. We found Placidity Massage open and was able to take us right then. We both got a deep tissue massage, and it was the best deep tissue massage we’ve had anywhere! Back home we get massages a couple times a month. I wish we lived here so we could continue to go to Placidity. The two women that worked on us Tuesday night (sorry we didn’t asked your names) were strong and really knew what they were doing and how to get the knots out and relax you. We might go back tomorrow before we leave to go back home! We can’t say enough good things about this massage place except please go - you won’t be disappointed. While the staff and therapist was very nice, they didnt have me fill anything out ahead of time to ask what areas I needed massaged. The therapist put way too much pressure into the massage and I kept telling her it hurt but she would start again. I understand she was trying to get the knots out, but I was really sore and in pain for 3 days afterwards. I was in such pain I couldnt sleep and had to take pain killer. I would not go back.
