I visited the spa on a weekday when there were very few people there, and it was amazing. I have visited many spas and this one is top notch! The details of the facility were well thought out and are beautifully cared for. Both services I had were fabulous and reasonably priced. If in the area, I would DEFINITELY go back!

I enjoyed a “balance custom” pedicure and I upgraded to gel polish and it was $115 with tax and gratuity. The physical menu and online menu is a bit misleading to what you actually get. It states a dip lavender paraffin wax($15). The tech used an alternative product she said is much better but it’s literally applied like a lotion- disappointing, not a big deal. The seat during service is not a pedicure chair. It’s a long bench, straight back with block cushions and pillows. The tech said the spa is planning on bringing in professional pedicure chairs soon. The bench area was nice looking but, not comfortable. A day pass to the spa is included in any service over $65 I could’ve spent time in shared hot tub it was my first time attending I didn’t plan accordingly and bring a swim suit. It was great to go 40 minutes early, relax in the co-ed lounge/relaxation area/outdoor patio with my husband until my service time. Free tea, water and coffee. He also sat in the empty seat next to me during my pedi- awesome accommodation. I left relaxed so it was worth it.

Great place to go for relaxation. Very lovely amenities. We went for a couples massage and left feeling very relaxed, calm, and happy. Pricey but worth the treat.

Melanie is an amazing colorist. Shes professional and pays great attention to detail. She gave me AMAZING advice and turned me on to great product! Thanks girl, Ill be back, again and again!

We had a lovely massage. The locker rooms have their own hot tubs and saunas with waterfall. You definitely get the spa experience. Recommend come early to soak before treatment and bring swimsuit.

My wife and I were in town for the National Senior Olympics and decided to spoil ourselves with a Spa day at the Green Reed. We are very familiar with Spas, coming from Scottsdale, AZ and Green Reed ranks up there with the best, especially the service. We had a couples 90 massage which were good. The facility was great, The steam room, Hot/Cold water plunge, the fitness center but the service was above and beyond. Thanks for a great day.

I loved their guest lounge, especially the porch facing the Sandias. They have great amenities and services. My only frustration is more systemic: why should I have to pay extra for a deep tissue massage? I get that its rather an industry standard at this point, but still.

Great massage by Janice! The steam and sauna rooms look brand new and they work great. The jacuzzi and plunge pools also make for a great experience.

Valerie at the front desk is one of the best spa concierge I have worked with, she pays attention to detail and addresses every concern. Melanie has been cutting and coloring my hair since I moved back from Texas. I LOVE HER!!!! I trust that when I sit in her chair not only will she give me the perfect cut but the color will be the best for me! If you are need of an updated look or a new Hairdresser. Schedule with Melanie! You wont regret it!

My experience st Green Reed was fantastic. Nicholas is an excellent therapist. He is very attentive, listened, and is great with deep tissue techniques. The couples room at the spa is amazing and worth the extra money to get the mimosa, private hot tub, and kiva fireplace with the incredible view. I can’t wait to go back.

Went to enjoy the spa facilities only. Everything is nice, clean, and what you would expect for a resort spa facility. Cost for a day pass is more than all others around ABQ I have been too. The hot tub in the mens only area was not as hot as I like. I like that they have a cold spa tub. The steam sauna was not as steamy as I like either. The main reason it was just okay for me is they now require a swimsuit to be worn at all times in all areas. I can understand for common areas but not the male only locker room and spa area. Out of the many spas I have been too with separate male/female spa facilities this is the first to require a bathing suit. I will not visit again due to the bathing suit required policy.

The sauna has been out for over two months. When the the whole facility is working properly and all the amenities are accessible it is great. Recently this has not been the case and there have been a number of issues with spa in general. The cannot seem to get these things fixed timely nor does management have a direction to do so. My suggestion is save your money until they get there stuff together .

The perfect place for relaxing and unwinding. The staff are all very courteous and friendly. My provider is excellent! Very nice to have discount days for NM residents and seniors. Cant say enough good things about them.

We used to really love this place, but customer service has seriously decreased. We had reservations for two massages. Mine was fine, but my husband was left waiting and waiting in the relaxation area where you wait for services. He finally asked someone when he found a clock and realized it was 20 minutes past his service time. His masseuse had gone on break and forgotten about his massage! Ok...mistakes happen. But how they handled it was unacceptable. When we met up afterwards in the lobby, he didnt want to tell me what had happened because they had been so rude. I finally asked to speak to a manager and she was HORRIBLE! She informed me they had offered him stuff and that SOME people would be more understanding. They didnt offer to comp him his next service or provide something else while we were there-they offered him A BEER and that the masseuse could finish up her time slot and give him about a 15 minute massage and they wouldnt charge him! Gee thanks! Frankly, I dont know if well go back-their management is awful and there are plenty of spas that are just as nice. (Tamaya affiliated with Santa Ana puts Green Reed to shame...)

Am extremely disappointed and and angry! I booked a massage for my boyfriend and I nearly 2 months ago. My parents gifted me an hour and a half massage including tip for my 40th birthday. I received a confirmation call yesterday and promptly confirmed. Today I received a call that my boyfriend’s appointment was going to be canceled because his therapist had a family emergency. Things happen, but nothing was offered other than a 30% discount on a day where it was going to be 20% off anyway. I was promised that I would receive a phone call before end of business hours for some sort of resolution. It is now 8:57 and according to their website they closed at 7pm. I have now left a voicemail for sandia casino general manager and for the green reed spa. Our new year’s eve plans have been ruined and no one has reached out!!! I am so angry. They didn’t even bother to call back at end of business today as promised by the assistant manager. This is completely unacceptable.

I had my wedding at the Sandia Golf Event Center and so it made sense for me to get my hair and makeup done at Green Reed since it is just next door. During my trial run I had the pleasure of working with Melanie. She cut, colored, and styled my hair as well as did a makeup run; ALL within about a 4 hour time period—WOW! I was a very picky (and annoying bride) because I am very particular on how I like my makeup. However, Melanie was nothing but accommodating and I left my trial happy and excited for my big day. The only downside was that a couple hours after I left my appointment my skin got super caked. This is not Green Reed’s fault it’s just that my skin didn’t like their product. I decided to just bring my own foundation and Melanie used that instead.I wish I could write a review about my wedding day alone so that I could give it 5 stars again! Melanie greeted me with a mimosa and let me chill out for a little bit while we talked. She then dove into my hair as my bridesmaids were getting their hair and makeup done as well. She did it so quick that I had extra time to just hang out and enjoy the moment. The Green Reed team made our day so easy and I can’t thank them enough!

I give this a two star. When you pay over $300 for services and arrive early as asked my services were at 10am and its 10:20 (still waiting) .. you min may not seems like a big deal but when your massage is 2 hrs and you have a strict checkout at hotel its a huge problem

This is the nicest facility I have seen in New Mexico. For any service over $65 you get to use the facility, I worked out, steamed, saunas and soaked and then get my hair done! My best day off in a long time! The staff are so welcoming and the environment is fabulous. I had my hair color done by Melanie. She was so creative and fun and did a fantastic job. She used an additive that gave my hair more body, its easier to style now, and Ill be back!

Personally, giving a 3/5 stars for my last experience here. I love the Green Reed Spa, I have been a costumer for years, going for massages 2-3 a year. I have never had a problem paying for the spa or services because the massage was always great and I loved the spa. A couple months ago, my partner and I went for a spa treatment to celebrate her birthday and this had been the first time I booked our couples massage later in the day. Now, remind you, that when I made my appointment over the phone with Green Reed about 2 weeks prior, NO ONE warned me about closing times. I understand, times change, and that’s okay for a buisness but would appreciate a notice from staff. I booked my massage for 4:45 pm- no biggie, sounded great. Got there, had the massage- and it was great, but to come out of my massage to be notified from a staff member to return to the locker room because the spa was closing in 10 minutes (remind you after my hour long couples massage it was 5:50). I asked a staff member if we could still go to the spa for maybe 10-15 minutes and they shook their head no. You can imagine how frustrated we both were to know that I simply just paid over $300 for some massages. Everyone who comes to the Green Reed Spa would hope and look forward to using the SPA! Not once did a staff member alert me of the times over the phone that would limit me on my experience. Not once did a staff member from the time I checked in, warn me about the time limit after my massage. Oh, but you can bet the staff surly made me pay and tip up front prior to my massage because “they didn’t want me to feel rushed”. Are you joking me? If all I wanted was a massage, I would have gone elsewhere and paid for a massage. Not spend the money to go to a spa and essentially be denied spa services from staff for poor warning on their part. Either Green Reed Spa needs to close out that time slot, or make your customers aware that they won’t get to use any of your spa services!

Good time, basic Amenities...hot tub, cold tub, hot and wet sauna. The issue is a day pass, they raised the rates from 35 bucks to 40 per person during the week. But 50 bucks for the weekends. All of this is before tax..so 2 people its 85.00. I would go here more often, but Im thinking of finding a different place to go and spend my cash.

Im actually disappointed. I booked a massage, pedicure, perm and facial about 2 weeks ago. Everything except my perm was good. I wanted a spiral perm and when I sit in the seat she tells me she doesnt have the rods for a spiral perm so she was just gonna do a regular one. Long story short its only been 2 weeks since and you cant even tell I got a perm even with all kinds of curl products in my hair. I can braid my hair and get a better curl if I leave it all night. I booked this appointment so I can feel pretty cause I just broke up with my boyfriend and totally didnt get that feeling I was looking for. 🤨

I do not understand this new policy about swimsuits? I can understand for common areas but not the male only locker room and spa area. Out of the many spas I have been too with separate male/female spa facilities this is the first to require a bathing suit. Also having your security guard walking and just standing around all the time just feels like your be harassed plus you have a staff on duty is that not there job? I am sure that both of these things are hurting you business.Thanks,

This place is amazing! Talk about a sanctuary in the city!!! The spa is beautifully designed and well kept, the music is relaxing, the therapists are amazing and the customer service is fantiastic! The best part is, when you book a service for $65 or more you get access to the spa for the entire day...I love that and to me, its a great value! They also have discount days for NM residents on Tuesdays!! If you havent tried it, you should!! Now to find time on Tuesdays!:-)

Ive never been to a spa before but my experience made me wonder why I have never been before. Very professional organization, outstanding massage, and very clean.

Melanie did a color correction/ highlight on my hair and it was an amazing result! Im so happy with what she did and my time at the spa was so wonderful, was a wonderful gift from my husband :)

Superb amenities. They will one day soon be a fine 5 Star Spa, european, quality like they have in the finest resorts in Germany Switzerland and Monico. I visit this spa every time I’m in town. Their service and attention to detial is spectacular. The relaxation room and patio are the cherry on top. I easily spend half a day enjoying the amenities before and after my massage. I highly recommend Sandia!!

So under normal circumstances everything was good. This was a really weird situation and Im not happy about it.The messed up part of this whole situation is that I was on the toilet. Long story short, I went to the restroom and was harrassed by a security guard while on the toilet. Nuff said.

This Spa is on sovereign land, what the public does not know is that it is not regulated by the state. Sandia does not follow anyones rules but their own. Which means the safety and Health of the clients is comprimized. It is Dangerous, unsafe and this place is horrifying. The moral is low, the quality is low, the management is low, the rate they pay their employees is that of slave labor. Their attention to detail and the costumer is the lowest of low..take your business to Dignified company that follows the rules and regulations that the rest of the Spa world follows..Evil company all the way around!!!!
