I had my first appointment there recently with Michelle Adler. My experience with the office staff from check-in to vitals was amazing. Quick, efficient, very friendly and personable.Michelle Adler is a true professional, and by far one of the best medical staff I have visited for my direct care. She took her time listening to what I was describing when speaking of pains, aches, and needs for referrals. She further explored past history with me, and gave me amazing options for how to go about the next step for care. Her knowledge and experience shined through when she was assessing me, and going through treatment options. To top that all off, she was kind, and had a great sense of humor. I would recommend her for anyone who is looking for a PCP.Thank you Adler Family Practice Team!

I absolutely adore your wife Michelle as my provider she is a gem ,I love her bubbly personality and that she very attentive to my care as a patient and always willing to go above and beyond to make sure I get the proper care i need as a patient. I been to many Drs & have worked alongside many doctors over my years as a health care worker. I absolutely adore this practice, the staff is friendly, and they take your health to heart. never have i ever felt so welcome, and understood by my health care providers. i’m so grateful for their diligence, professionalism, and punctuality. honestly, i recommend them to anyone, and everyone i know. good luck, getting rid of me, i love y’all. 🥰

Wish I could put zero stars....I filed a grievance against Ethans inappropriate behavior and then his refusal to refill my recurring prescriptions until I found a new provider. I was flabbergasted when I saw the lies this office told my Insurance company! Luckily, I have proof to refute many of his lies, including a letter sent to me by Ethan himself! ROFL....RUN from this office, seek treatment anywhere but here. Michelle is kind and so is the staff but they are all under Ethans tyrannical thumb, unfortunately. ***Be aware they are nurses, not Physicians, so their level of care is limited.*** They choose which symptoms to address, neglecting the more serious issues by telling you to go visit an Urgent Care. Read their replies to negative reviews and youll have a clear picture of how they operate.

Michelle takes her time and never makes me feel rushed or silly for bringing up any topic during my appointment. I would recommend her to any one who has not had a good relationship with a doctor.

First of like to mention that the Portal is only a one star. Unable to sign in - no record of account - no method of resetting username or password based on name and/or DOB. Tried both emails and the usual password and nothing is accepted. Not a very well thought out site. No info to contact a live person to fix sign-in problem. So much for this techy computer stuff.More importantly is Dr. Adler. He is totally Five Star. He is attentive, knowledgeable, professional and caring. My wife and I have been with him for several years and are grateful for the time he gives us and his insight into our total health needs - and for the addition of his wife to the medical staff. Thanks to both Docs!

They dropped my husband as a patient because he is unvaccinated. Shame on them.They are unqualified as medical professionals if they dont understand a natural herd immunity.Bigotry rears its ugly heads.

I am a female 53 years old ...and no lie Adler family practice. Michelle and staff has been the best provider I have ever had. I hope they are around till I pass seriously...to all the negative people and their posts. You are just unhappy and miserable with your ownself.dont take it out on this place and the beautiful people. Remember God dont like ugly.

Couldn’t be more pleased with Dr. Ethan Adler. Extremely helpful and takes the time to LISTEN. You don’t always see that. He is thorough and proactive in getting whatever issues you have on the right track. He’s called me after hours before just to speak with me and make sure I was aware of what tests he ordered/why etc. Always corrects me when I call him Dr., but to call him ‘Ethan’. Puts you in a more personal level with someone. Would highly recommend to anyone regardless of age/gender/health etc.

My specialist referred me to Adler Family Medical Center a couple years ago. She mentioned that Michelle Adler was a good fit for me because she knew the passion Michelle Adler had with her patients. 3 years later and its been a tough one but oh how Michelle Adler has been a life saver! My specialist was correct, though some may not of had great experiences here, Ive nothing but great things to say about the practice. The staff has been helpful and kind. The place is clean and well taken care of. The parking lot is safe; of course my experience with Michelle Adler has been nothing but great for me. Shes helped me in my journey to wellness and believe me, Ive been a difficult case but what can I say, I have the best primary doctor!! Thank you Michelle Adler!! The doctors and staff are professional and generally pleasant. however, they cherry picked from my symptoms and treated the manageable ones while ignoring the less common, more confusing ones. i switched providers about a month ago, maybe less, and found out i have a chronic, incurable condition that im really not confident would have been detected if i stayed with this clinic.

I love this place everyone is so nice and they actually care for your well being I trust them more than any other place

During my last appointment I told Ethan about a list of symptoms Im experiencing. He asked how I wanted to treat them, which I was taken aback by because I dont know whats wrong with me, nor do I know what my treatment options are. At the end of the visit he claimed that my symptoms might be a physical manifestation of my bad mental health and he said I need to get my head on straight.

They hardly answer your phone calls. I tried calling them yesterday at 3 till close and no one picked up till today at 10:15 a.m. Its irritating!

DO NOT GO HERE! This place is owned and operated by nurse practitioners, Ethan and Michelle Adler. The fact that they are nurse practitioners is not the issue just information for anyone looking. They were over an hour late for the appointment just taking us back to room. Once we got back there the MA asked several questions and my partner explained that just being at the doctors office gave her extreme anxiety. The MA left the room and said that Michelle Would be in, in a moment. It took another 10 minutes. While we waited we read the info posted on the walls. We noticed that if you are not compliant with a medical plan for serious illness that you will be asked to go to a large medical group for services. We also read that they charge $125 for assistance with obtaining your medical cannabis card for existing patients . When Michelle finally came in, I addressed the fact that she was over an hour late for the appointment, we received no apology. I asked why they charge $125 for assisting with a medical cannabis card when the card itself is free. She said How does it get filled out? I answered. How does it get sent in? again I answered how I did it with my doctor. She said we still need to charge an administrative fee. $125?? She then said Maybe she should have your doctor fill it out. Then she proceeded to say that WE obviously have issues and this isnt going to be a good match and if we want to go elsewhere we could. We took that opportunity to leave. On the way out my partner tried to tell Michelle how she felt and Michelle told she was leaving, this upset my partner and she became a little loud, I asked her to come with me and she left. I stayed behind to tell Michelle that the fact that she was over an hour late for an appointment with a new patient that has extreme anxiety was no okay. Still no apology. Worst doctors experience ever.

The front staff are really helpful, friendly and polite. Ethan is amazing, he listens to what the patient has to say and diagnosis and treats as such. He actually gets your medical history and verifies that if he prescribes the patient medication that it will not cause any issues with the patients other medications and illnesses. After being a patient of the former doctor who treated his patients the old school way , Ethan and his staff have brought this office into the 21st century and Im very happy to be a patient in this clinic.

It was taking me 14 months to see my previous PCP; its easy to make an appointment with Ethan Adler. He is friendly and very responsive to my pharmacys requests. He did a lot of research into my medical condition and always comes prepared to my medical visits. Highly Recommended!

I have been a patient of both Ethan and Michelle at their practice. They are by all measures the most thoughtful, thorough, knowledgeable, and caring healthcare professionals I have ever conversed with. I have tremendous respect for them and appreciate the service they provide.

3 appointments canceled with out notice. Paranoid signs on the walls warning you not to ask for drugs. Rude about changing appointments. Lied about paperwork required by my employer and refused to provide it. Refused to answer questions about treatment and lab tests. Acted like I was the one with the problem when I complained about the broken appointments and refused to see me without any conversation. Hung up on me when i called to try to figure out what was going on.added 7/21/18: after i posted this complaint I received a text message from a purported staff member who loves her boss threatening to send negative video to my employer, to you tube and the news This person called me a fat pig. This would be a severe violation of HIPPA if she revealed patient details to the media. as well as being just unprofessional. At this point I making official complaints about patient abandonment and threats and harassment.

Neither Ethan or Michelle are doctors, they are nurse practitioners. It would be nice if they would have their patients address them as such instead of making them think they are more because they like being called doctors. And I’ve never heard of a practice that “fires” you from their practice because you had questions and they didn’t want to have to answer them or be responsible for those answers. It’s much easier just to kick you from their practice.

Wow. I came here just to see if other people thought the same of the practice I do.After seeing Ethans responses to these reviews that are negative that should tel you something about these NURSE PRACTITIONERS in itself. They’re there to comfort you, send you for tests and if anything pops up send you to an ACTUAL doctor. Going here as a family practice is a major waste of timeThe staff is just plain rude and has no idea what they’re doing. And the nurse practitioners are there for money not compassion.Ethans been out for a year and HE expects compassion? Come on you’re a PROVIDER NOT A PATIENT.

Michelle Adler is amazing! She is very friendly, helpful, and understanding. She actually listens to what you have to say and is always open to hear your suggestions. She is an amazing provider and I will miss her when I move.

My wife has been seeing Ethan for years and will not go anywhere else, she actually told me to make an appointment. I have seen Ethan and Michelle and they are both professional and take time to understand us as patients. My wife considers Ethan a friend for as long as she has been seeing him. It is crazy that people are complaining that they are nurse practitioners, we knew that from the beginning. They have never tried to hide that fact and give my wife and I more attention then our old Medical Doctor. The nice thing is you have a choice and if its not a good fit go somewhere else. We will always recommended the Adler Medical Center.

Terrible service. Tried to schedule a regular pap and would have had to go 3 times before their scheduling got it right and Michelle wouldnt even do it on the second visit even though I made it clear that the reason I was there was for a pap. I was clear in asking to schedule a pap for the second visit. Their medical assistant would not even look up from her computer while she asked basic history questions and she had her back to me the entire time. I was just in the office 3 weeks prior and she asked questions that if she had taken the time to look at my chart she would have already had the answer. I would not recommend their office to anyone. The only thing profane was their lack of realizing that I came for a pap and instead of acknowledging that they made a mistake in scheduling, they tried to make me feel like it was my fault. Glad I received a refund of my copay for the second visit. Very poor service. I would not recommend their office to anyone.And by the way, in your response, the quote you used from me was from my first appointment, in what I assumed would be a private conversation, when I told the medical assistant that I would prefer to speak to Michelle about my personal history. I thought patient confidentiality, including statements made, were supposed to be private and not broadcast in a public forum.

My very first review** I have heard great things about this facility and their staff. Came highly recommended by my Presbyterian care coordinator ( they are at the top of their list! ) I certainly love the idea of it being owned and operated by FNP’s. I will never go here again. They misdiagnosed me on multiple things. They had no idea what they were doing. Every time I went there in time for my apt I waited over 2 hours to be seen. And no one was in the waiting room. If I could give them zero stars I would.

The level of incompetency at Adler Family Practice is unbelievable. Michelle is dishonest & impossible to get results from. She blamed her staff when confronted with irresponsible behavior in not getting abnormal lab results to me (which I ended up getting from the lab itself!!) Luckily I can self refer to a specialist with my Insurance. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS INCOMPETENT OFFICE!!

I waited 30 minutes for my initial get-to-know-you appointment. I understand that usually theres a wait time at the doctors office so I let it go. On my second visit I waited 45 minutes only to be asked if I could reschedule because they had scheduled my appointment wrong. After being assured I would be the first patient in and wouldnt have to wait on a Saturday morning, I waited an additional 30 minutes the third time I tried to go to the office. After my patience had waned, I asked the receptionist for my lab work so I could get on my way. She gave me paperwork and it wasnt until I returned to my vehicle that I realized she had given me somebody elses lab work, a clear violation of his HIPPA rights. After going back in to return his and to get mine, I realized I had a few abnormal results. They never called to tell me about them, even though they assured me if anything was abnormal they would let me know. Two weeks later I get a letter saying that wasnt a proper fit for their small practice. Apparently, to be a proper fit you must be prepared to wait and have your appointment rescheduled. Michelle is a very compassionate nurse practitioner, however, the office is in total disarray and I caution anyone who goes there.

Staff is very rude. Even when you have a set appt, you are still waiting more than 30+ minutes to see your provider. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Ethan adler is a good doctor who care for the patient and takes care of his his business I would recommend others to see him yes it is small but he does a wonderful job keep it up love that doctor when Walgreens messed up with my insulin they immediately took control and got me in the next day to work with me about it wow how professional the staff is if u want a good doctor go to dr Ethan Adler family practice the best in Albuquerque

I initially went in for the Kenalog shot for my seasonal allergies. I was able to make an appointment quickly and didnt wait very long once I arrived at the office. I visited with Michelle, who was great. She took the time to listen to me about my conditon, and got me back on a plan to control my allergies and asthma.

First, the goods: The staff are friendly and the office clean. The provider, Mr. Adler, very knowledgeable and professional. Now the bad: My wife requires care at an Endocrinologist and our insurance requires Referral and Prior Authorization. For a month, a staff member has been making excuses and has been unable to process the referral, (sending to the insurance correctly). The response Ill FAX it in again. This has been done at least 5 times. Excuse me but if it wasnt done correctly the first time, why keep sending it over and over again. Solution; after the first time/rejection or no response, call them and find out whats wrong, then do it correctly. Also, when a patient has labs done for a possible kidney problem, isnt it appropriate for the providers office to follow up with the patient, let them know the lab results?

Im truly astonished with Dr. Adlers genuine concern for my well being as a person before patient. Ive got nothing but respect for all medical professionals that have to follow drive-thru style suite just to keep up with the high intake volume, I totally get it....but Big Ups to Dr. Adler and those like him, that still make the resolution the top priority regardless of the patients (me) lack of urgency. #dr.rareair

All of the information regarding this establishment is wrong. The location is vacant, and hours are inaccurate. Dont bother wasting your time trying to find this place.

Customer service could be better. There was only one employ helping me, which was the lady checking me in the front. While there was another blonde young employee making personal phone calls in the back. She was being very unprofessional and could have helped assist your Puerto Rican employee more. I even felt bad for the woman helping me for she was doing so much. Over all though had a good experience

Ive had very good experiences the times that I have been in. I can get into see Dr. Adler very quickly which is nice. He really takes time to explain things.

Receptionist is very rude and unprofessional. My appointment was cancelled at the last minute after I took time off from work. She rudely told me she left me several voice-mail but also sent me text message reminding me of my appointment. Their sign up front says they have Saturday appointments which is incorrect. I will never go there again and I immediately changed my primary doctor.

Friendly Staff. Dr. Adler is great and he explains complex issues in laymans terms.

Unprofessional. Plenty of caring medical practitioners in town. Don’t waste your time & money here.
