Dr. Harris is WONDERFUL! So is her staff. Ginger (assistant) is so kind and welcoming. I was not comfortable with what a previous neurologist diagnosed me with. So I came to Dr. Harris for a second opinion and so glad and thankful that I did. I highly recommend Dr. Harris and her office for anyone looking or needing a neurologist. She listened to my concerns, and I didnt feel rushed. Dr. Harris made sure I knew about every test, and answered my questions. I was extremely nervous for the EMG and she gave me a unicorn squishy to help calm my nerves and talked to me the whole time, I didnt even realize she was doing the test. I normally dont do reviews, but Dr. Harris is so worth it and I will continue to go to her with any concerns. Thank you Dr. Harris and Ginger!

Dr. Harris really helped me with my health problems; gave me a lot of information; and was easily acessible when I was having a hard time.The office staff have been very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend Sandia Neurology.

I haven’t seen Dr. Harris in 7 years. She knew what was going on before other Drs did, I appreciate Dr. Harris and look forward to seeing her again for a 2nd opinion.

Dr. Harris is one of the best doctors I have ever worked with. She is easily accessible and truly takes the time to listen to and address all of your concerns. I have never felt like she was trying to rush through any of our appointments. She has also gone out of her way to help me with other requests that would be really difficult to get other doctors to do. I am so grateful for her help!

I went to see Dr. Harris because my hands and arms were getting numb and tingling at nighttime. My first appointment was telemed which at first I thought would not be productive but Dr. Harris was great! She asked me to do some self tests at home while on video and gave me some really great feedback. My second appointment was to do an EMG test which I was extremely nervous about but Dr. Harris was so great! She was very gentle and made me feel comfortable and my nerves quickly calmed... no pun intended! Highly recommended, in fact I suggested my husband go in for an appointment about suspected carpal tunnel.

Ive lost count on how many times Ive called and left detailed messages politely asking someone to return my calls. Its been several weeks with no response or communication. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

Ok so heres the scoop. I love Dr. Harris as a neurologist she knows a ton and is very kind and doesnt make you feel stupid when you see her as so many neurologists do. She also spends actual time talking to you not just 3 minutes in and out like many doctors. Ive had a seizure disorder since I was 18 and have seen 4 neurologists over the years, 3 of them were lets say not nice people, very condescending and often booked months in advance. My last neurologist was booked a year out. Now that said I dont know why but the staffing situation there nuts. It can be very difficult to talk to someone and calling and leaving a message doesnt always result in a call back. Its one of the most difficult offices to get ahold of Ive ever seen (sorry Dr. Harris 😕 love you though). So in the end the front office aside, love Dr. Harris best neurologist Ive ever seen.

What a rip off. Before you can even make an appointment you need to give them a $75 deposit. My copay is $50 and when I asked what about the 25 and when I would get it back I was told they didnt know. I got a packet of paperwork to fill out and the last page whats what really ticked me off. Its a form that requires you to enter your credit card information that they require you to keep on file on their secure server. sorry but there is no such thing as a secure server and no one is going to be in control of my finances but me. I asked a hypothetical, if I had $100 charge and they called to tell me they were running it I asked if they could just run 50 and then I would pay them the other 50 the next month and was told no they would run the whole amount, they dont do payments. I canceled my appointment.

I highly recommend Dr. Harris. She treats me for Epilepsy and Chronic Pain associated with the epilepsy. Her Botox treatments for my pain have been a huge relief! Shes a no nonsense kind of gal WITHOUT THE ATTITUDE that the other Neurologist here in town seem to have! Very compassionate and up to date with the newest technology. Really outstanding! I feel blessed to have found her. Shes a 10 in my book!

Dr. Harris is a kind, well humored Neurologist that far exceeds others in her field! I saw four other Neurologist for my symptoms and each of them told me I was too complicated and they wouldnt take me as a patient/ couldnt treat me. Upon meeting Dr. Harris I knew things were going to be different! She took the time to ask me every question necessary to figure out my condition, reviewed my medical record, medications one by one and addressed each symptom individually and all together as a whole. After my consultation with Dr. Harris I knew I was in good hands. I amnow on my third appointment; we already have a treatment plan and I couldnt be happier with the care I have received!!!

I’ve been waiting for a call back for over a week to make an appointment, I’ve called 3 times. The referral was sent June 11th. The message says they’ll call you back 2 business days. What a joke! 1 week short of a month on a call back.

I have been a patient of Sally Harris for 7+ years. My migraines have decreased from 7-10 a month to maybe 1 every 3-4 months!!! My continued well-being is her goal. I have recommended several of my associates/friends to her and they have also found her extremely competent, professional, and kind. Her treatments with me have changed my life!

I have been under the care of a neurologist for more than 5 years with little and/or no relief. When I finally decided to take control of my health, I made an appointment with Dr. Harris. I am so happy I did. I have no doubt she will be able to help me. Dr. Harris spent quality time with me, taking notes on every issue amd explaining things to me. I highly recommend Dr. Harris to anyone who needs to be treated by a neurologist.

I have seen Dr. Harris since June of 2011 for multiple neurological conditions. She listens very well, and is respectful of patient and their knowledge of their own conditions. She treats the whole patient, by that I mean that she isnt treating a single condition. She gives excellent explanations and provides a variety of options.

I went in for an evaluation one time. She decided to order TWO tests. I never got them ordered. I called them over and over again over the course of 3 months they said they’d get them ordered but they never did. Finally one day they called me and said they ordered it 2 months ago. So I wrote a 2 star review on here about my not so great experience then dr Harris calls me and asks me to change it to 5 stars and she’ll fix the situation.Now I’m not being seen, haven’t have my tests ever ordered and get spam from them about headache clinics in my emails.

Not only do they not take medicaid, which is what MOST disabled ppl are on (like ppl that would regularly visit THIS sort of facility for care), but they also said something about a 75 dollar deposit?! WTF? For what? Just in case I miss an appointment in the future, which NEWS FLASH: I probably WILL because that whole memory thing; NEUROLOGICAL! MANY neurological disorders carry MEMORY ISSUES as a major symptom!!! I cant believe a NEUROLOGISTS office needs to be told this... smdh, this place is a joke! I dont know about their quality of care, because sadly, my insurance isnt ELITIST enough to meet their minimum requirements!

Great Doctor and staff. Ive been under the care of various Neurologists for over 17 years and it wasnt till I went to my first visit with Dr. Harris that I felt like I had meet a Doctor who was actually going to take care of me and not take my money and kick me out of the office as quickly as possible. And my feelings proved correct went I had a seizure and wound up in the hospital and she has done an incredible job of keeping my migraines and seizures under control. Thank you, Dr. Harris

Dr. Harris is an excellent neurologist, she utilizes many different options to assist her patients in finding the best treatment for their condition. The office is friendly and welcoming. I am very pleased with the treatment and services Dr. Harris office provides.

Dr. Sally Harris is a great doctor, if I could give her 10 stars I would. She is compassionate, friendly & articulate. In your appointment she will go over your history and listen to you with patience & understanding with her recommendations. I was told by the staff, Dr. Harris does this with all her patients to give them the quality time they deserve. If there is some wait to see her, I respect other people & their time with her. The Information is typed in to the computer system for her and your records buy following HIPPA on all office procedures. This occurs in the exam room and followed by a copy of what is discussed with her plans for you at the end of each visit. Staff is friendly & welcoming. Waiting area is pleasent & has all types of patient information. I highly recommend Dr. Harris for your success of good health :)

Excellent Neurologist. Very personable and takes her time getting to know her patients. I have seen other neurologists and she is who I highly recommend to those who suffer from migraines.

I do not like finding new doctors, however, felt I needed too, so I googled neurologists in ABQ and Dr. Sally Harris came up first...it was the best decision I have made on my MS journey thus far...she is pleasant, efficient, very knowledgeable and very thorough. I highly recommend her and look forward to many years working with Dr. Harris (at least until they find a cure for MS, then well celebrate!)

I have been here 3 times, every time the doctor has been late, not 5-10 min late, I am talking 45+ min late. The staff gossip about patients in the lobby, which I am sure on some level is a violation of HIPPA. I got a patients first name, what happened to them and why they were being seen by Dr. Harris.The front staff didnt even notify me that the doctor was running late, just moved me from room to room. The professional thing to do would be to notify me that the doctor is running late upon check in and ask if i wanted to wait or reschedule. The medical assistance that work there clearly are there for a paycheck and not because they like their jobs, no one smiles or is enthusiastic about being there. From scheduling to checking out the clinic is a negative experience. I called NM neurology and they got me in within 3 weeks! While I do say Dr. Harris is a good doctor her staff takes everything she has to offer away.

Excellent doctor who is very attentive and listens to your needs. Front desk is a bit disorganized but Dr. Harris will make sure any issues you have are resolved. She cares quite a bit more for her patients than the average doctor.

I just had a horrible experience in Santa Fe with a neurologist there. I have high hopes for Dr. Harris. Based on reviews, and the fact that she responds back to even negative ones, I am making an appt. Monday

Dr Harris has been my Neurologist since1999, she is my favorite Doc and has helped me tremendously. Glad I found her. She works well with patients who are knowledgeable about their affliction and want to try different things to improve their outcome. Best physician I have ever had.

Dr.Harris is the one that dx my neuropathy years ago and figured out it was from b12 diffencey and have been treated for that to this day and yes she is awesome Doctor I loved her and thats why I want her to be my Doctor again

Got told I had been called and answered. When in my phone records I have 1 missed call no voicemail. So they canceled my appt and kept the 75 appt fee. Receptionist is rude and lazy and cant even take the time to actually call. But the doctor has been really nice

I have spinocerebellar Ataxia, and Dr. Harris is the only neurologist Ive ever seen that knows very much about it. She really cares, and I appreciate that.

Best neurologist I have ever had. Patient-centered medicine, relaxed office, good location - Sandia Neurology and Dr. Harris have it all.

My wife has tried for three months to get a hold of her to switch to a new provider and they are literally the worst provider we have ever dealt with. I would say do not waste your time dealing with an office who doesnt think of patients healthcare as a priority. Worst in the city and state by far! Sally Harris MD is a horrible provider for neurological conditions.
