Very clean and well kept office, with very professional and friendly staff. The Dr was amazing !! I really enjoyed my visit with them, best ever. They had a great selection of glasses. I initially went in with intentions for contacts only but I was so happy with their services and options, Im walking out with BOTH! I have found my new optometry home. I was born cross-eyed and had multiple eye surgeries as a toddler. This leads to problems with focusing both eyes together. I have struggled with the portion of eye exams in which the optometrist swaps lenses back and forth and asks me to determine which is better. I have encountered frustrated optometrists multiple times and have settled for poor prescriptions and one blurry side across all of them.I saw Dr. David J. Babington a few months ago and had the best eye exam of my life. He is patient, insightful, friendly, and laser accurate. After these months, I am still stunned by how well it went and how good this prescription is. I work in front of a computer reading strings of numbers and his prescription has changed everything for me. I dont get the headaches or eye strain that I used to. I recommend him highly to anyone.Additionally, the sales staff are friendly, professional, and patient. The atmosphere at Apple Tree Optical is consistently positive. If you need an eye exam and have faced impatient, brusque staff, this is where you need to go.

This is a gem! The entire staff is kind and knowledgeable, and never rush through an appointment. Not only are they great with adults, but everyone was wonderful with my 4-year-old during his exam as well. I cant say enough good about this officer, my whe family is seen there and we recommend Apple Tree to everyone we know.

They lost my appointment; I waited three weeks to get in, took off work, and they double booked on top of my lost appointment. Then they told me I would have to pay more than my co-pay from insurance because it was a medical visit, not an annual eye exam, even though I had never been seen there before or by any doctor. The scheduler on the phone when I made the appointment told me it would be my insurance co-pay price. Complete bait and switch tactic. 100% dissatisfied and I do not recommend.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Babingtons for years, and have always enjoyed my visits. Everybody from the front desk to the team that helps you pick out glasses are wonderful. I highly recommend them!

I have been a long time customer of Apple Tree Optical and highly recommend them to friends and family. Dr Babington and his staff are professional, knowledgeable, and always willing to help when I need their services.

I agree, 1 star would be far too generous. Wife and I went there for new glasses because they accept the VSP ins and we spent over a total of $500 on our glasses. The bill was paid in full when determined and calculated same day of service and the glasses came in and we were fitted. The office manager sent us a nasty bill a week later out of the blue claiming we were charged too low a price on the wifes glasses and we owed more money and to pay the difference or the bill will be sent to collections. The office manager is exceptionally rude and Dr Babington will not stand up to her, maybe the office manager is his mother or she has a nice little scam going on out of his office?

Dr Babington has been my optometrist for many years now! The staff is very knowledgeable and professional... and the eye center has an extensive selection of eyewear. Not only does the office make you feel welcomed, but they make it a fun experience even for my 11yo daughter. We leave each time feeling like family! This is why I make it a point to get our exams, glasses and contacts here when traveling thru ABQ. The added bonus is that they also accept VSP!
