I love it here. There are so many useful pieces of equipment and everyone I have spoken with is a pretty stand-up person. The low cost for membership is well worth the access to tools and the resources being a member provides.

This place is awesome. All sorts of ways to let you creative brain get busy. Wood, metal, vinyl, cloth, beads, plastics you name it, they have the equipment to make use of it. I love this Place. The community is great! There are a lot of knowledgable and skill people who are happy to assist if you get stuck on a process.

I wasted a few months and a few wasted trips to their open house nights trying to join this maker space only to give up and finally join Fuse instead, which is much more inclusive of strangers. Nobody here seemed to know who is responsible for signing people up or how to go about it. Even if you join online youll likely get nowhere as that was a dead end for me as well.In response to the response: Typical. If you had read my review with any care you would have seen I said that joining online got me nowhere. So, your big Join Now button is just a red herring. I tried that route in February, then went to the next open house meeting to see why it got me nowhere except an invoice for dues and no access, and was sent away with the same story I heard in January and December: nobody knows how to finish signing people up right now. It wasnt until April that I got a note about new member orientation. April! By that time I was at Fuse. Then, the next orientation was supposedly in June. Then August. So, if you are really really lucky, you might be able to join once every two months at best. Furthermore, when talking to Quelab members at open houses or the Makerfaire (who seem nice enough and like good potential friends) when mentioning my difficulties with trying to join Quelab, I got either the same response from the apparent leadership about nobody knowing who is handling that, or the conversation just dies with absolutely no response to the difficulty of it all. Thus, something smells rotten and exclusive and the vibe turns very very cold. So, in other words, I like what Quelab represents but the execution of it all has earned you this rating is spite of what I like about it and in spite of some of the friendlier people there. Which is really too bad for them.

Just visited for the first time. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. There are cool tools everywhere and a community full of people who seemed to be super willing to show you how to use them. I cant wait to start some projects here.

They just passed their second anniversary and are still going strong, holding classes every week and working on projects Sunday and Tuesday nights. They have a focus more on electronics than anything else, but you can find knitters in the front office, electronics repair the workshop, photography discussion going on in the kitchen and a 3D printer in the midst of everything else. And the best part is that if you want to learn something and they dont know either, theyll gladly learn with you.

A community of makers where sharing your knowledge and skills is encouraged, and you can learn all sorts of new things.

I went there for about three months and found out that this was a total waste of time. They took my money and gave me nothing except and no action. This is for those who do everything on your own and not for those who want to learn.

I will admit to be biased, Quelab is the kind of nonprofit, community center and project space that i would really be hunting for if it didnt already exist! Its not only a huge amount of very cool tools, but its membership is full of lots of amazing experts on so many things!
