Awesome experience...... got in fast, NP was in the room within 5 min, since she ordered labs the phlabotomist was in Within 5 min, and I was out in no longer than 20! Not only was it speedy they took great care and did everything to get to the bottom of the situation!!! Definitely recommended to anyone who needs primary care ❤

Super place to be treated for pretty much any common or not so common ailments.I have been a patient at the Albemarle branch for 20 years.....never had a problem with service or care...the staff dont jump around offering you comfy seats or coffee and cookies,they just give you professional health care....thats why I recommend them to everyone I know including my whole family...I have no interest in going anywhere else as that would be, in my opinion, hazardous to my health...keep up the great work guys.

Online gave me appointment options. I got there on time and a crew of 10 men walked in just ahead of me so they told me 1st come 1st served. The nurse did get me taken care of as soon as she could. The staff was very polite amid the chaos covid is causing.

Went to First Care for a rapid COVID test. I did make an appointment but was running late. I still got checked, tested, and results back very quickly. This was an improvement from an earlier COVID test I did there last year at which time it took much longer.

The young lady coming out to cars doing covid tests is so sweet and she was very gentle and great with talking to patients. She’s a great part of your staff!

I have been going here for years. The staff are always friendly and the Doctor is thorough. It is easy to communicate with them. I love the fact that you can do a walk in as easy as an appointment.

I went to see Dr. Okwara today he was so sympathetic and how much he cared. I finally realized what it means to have a personal physician. When you have a life altering event you need help from those whom love us most or care.He was my saving grace today. I couldnt be in better hands.. my husband of 30 years on 7-6-21 went to be with Jesus. I am broken lost thank God for my doctors 🙏.

Went in for covid testing, they were running behind and short staffed and we were still in and out rather quick. Everyone very friendly and helpful

I wasnt very happy about getting told one thing only to find out something completely different. I specifically asked if they did pain management before I even made an appointment and was told yes they do see patients for that. I paid my copay, which isnt cheap, PA comes in and I explain why I was there and what I got told, she then tells me that they dont see patients for pain management. I just felt like once they got my money, my needs sort of went out the window.

Dr. Okwara is the best doctor ever and the practitioner that was working with him today was actually more caring than anyone will besides dr okwara she actually listen to everything and cared about every concern I had , I’ve never seen a doctor so concerned and be so patient as her and Dr. Okwara

I’ve been going here for a year now. I love this clinic! I’m always called within 10-15 minutes of signing in. I’m never left waiting for a long period of time. My doctor is Patricia Bryan. I absolutely love her!!! I made her my primary care doctor. She doesn’t just rush you off with a prescription! She’s informative, thorough and discusses any other concerns you may have regarding your health. I enjoy seeing her at my visits. The rest of the staff is nice as well. Anybody who visits this location, you won’t regret it.

I will never go to this place again and I recommend everyone else stay far away as well. My wife and I called in and spoke to someone at the site to schedule to have a COVID- 19 test done. My wife called twice to verify that we could get the test today and to verify what we needed to do to get tested. We were told to schedule online. This was around 1:00 PM. We got online and scheduled the appointment for 5:00 and 5:30 PM. I get a call from the office at 3:43 PM asking if we could come on in now because they were trying to close early. I told the lady on the phone that it would take me around 15-20 minutes to get there and she said that was fine to come on in. After arriving onsite at 4:05 PM my wife goes in to check us in and was told that they were not seeing anymore patients. My wife told the lady working the front desk that we were just called to come on in and she ignored her and said sorry. After she got back to the car and told me I said that is unacceptable and went in to try and clear things up. I explained that our appointment was at 5:00 and 5:30 and that we were called and told to come on in but she was rude and told me to leave. I asked to speak to the manager and she said that she was the manager. She then called the Police and told them that she had an irate patient causing problems at the location. I never once even raised my voice to her. After calling the police I think she realized she was In the wrong and agreed to get our test done for us. Then the police showed up and she said that everything was resolved. I have never been so embarrassed or humiliated in my life. I am a veteran and my wife is a nurse at the hospital. We both realize that working on holidays is not fun and have empathy for the staff but it was not handled in the correct manner. I will say however, that the interactions with the rest of the staff were pleasant and they were very nice but the lady at the front desk was awful. Please take my word for it and STAY AWAY!

Im out of state and I just want a rapid COVID test. I had to fill out a form with my medical history and it asked for my insurance information 4 times.However, the doctors were nice.

Never can get a person in a timely manner. Always put on hold every time i call and the call always cancels after a 10 minute hold. This is unacceptable. You need more people to answer calls when you are changing appointment times without contacting us.

They lied about coverage and very unfriendly staff. I would never recommend them for any health care needs. Drove to atrium health seen me and very friendly. Also funny I used same insurance and they took it at no cost to me. It’s sad that I have issues and need a COVID test and I’m denied service. Talked with an administrator and was also told they take my insurance.

Made appointment online to get tested for covid and even got confirmation emails and texts. When I showed up they came out and told me they were out, but made me feel like it was my fault and being there was an inconvenience to them.

So happy with my doctor Sage! Hoping to not have to see another new doctor, I have seen 3 in the past year and she seems to be the best. She is very thorough with me and wanting to go over all my medical needs. The staff are also very sweet and friendly. Highly recommended!!

Just dont. Save your time and money. What ever happened to seeing a Doctor? Or, to listening skills? Their website shows a complete and full staff(nonexistenthere), there only seemed to be young, inefficient, staff available. I was actually told Ill need to ask my Supervisor by my attending whatever, left sitting and waiting for ages. They never returned, sent someone else, and when I inquired for clarity, was told well call you..I reiterate, Just dont. Their web designer must have been top notch and very creative!

I love the staff and the service is great. Dr. Alex will spend the time with you that you need him to instead of being in and out. The nurses are all more than friendly, I love dealing with them. The front desk staff are wonderful and try to get to know each patient. I would recommend them to anyone. Also, for those who want to post about the time patients spend there, they need to realize it is not bad and the reason it isnt just in and out is because the staff actually tries to take care of each and every patient thoroughly! I have no problem with the time I spend there!

Love my drs they listen to me and have helped me with more than I ever thought I could get help with. All the staff from front desk to getting my weight and blood pressure are very nice. I dont know why this office has anything but 5 star reviews. 😍😍😍😍😍

My husband and I made appointments for 5:00pm and 5:30pm. It’s a 20 to 25 minute drive. At 4:35pm, we received a call saying that we needed to be there by 4:45pm because the doctor had an emergency. We were on the way and said we would try. We arrived at 4:50pm and was told the doctor had already left and were not seen. 😡

I didn’t have to wait long to be called back, and the staff was very friendly. I didn’t get quite as much time with the doctor as I would have liked. He said he would be back, and never returned. But a nurse did return and she was very friendly and pretty informative.

Its an urgent care clinic and the staff is nice but they are extremely slow. There were two people in the waiting room this morning and it still took from 9:20 to 11:50 before the doctor came in to tell me he was going to order x-rays. I finally left, I dont know how much longer it would have taken to get my x-rays and then see the results. Dont use it as an urgent care.

Doctor was very insinsitive and cocky...even sexist. Slow service... When I went to see what was taking so long it was one on the cell phone the doctor looking at a screen talking and laughing with some of the staff whom were kicked back and leaning on the counters. Everyone deserves a break but this has been on more than one occasion. Ive also experienced miscommunication with information . I give it a two for the kindness of the nurses and some staff

I was a walk- in and was greeted with a perfesional, smileing face. Had a timey infomitive Dr visit. And was on my way. Most convient office in town.

I was visiting from out of town and had an Urgent Care need. I explained to the staff my type of insurance and that I had met out-of-pocket expenses for the entire year from back surgery. I had my daughter who is 22 years old was with me at the time. I was told that I was in network and I was fine. I had to be seen twice since my first treatment did not correct my issue. Months later Im getting the information from my insurance that they were not in network. First Care now expects me to pay 300 plus dollars. I was lied to about being in network. I would stay away from this company. The fact that they have people who have no morals. Im turning them over to the Better Business Bureau just as soon as I can.01/18/17Left numerious messages to First Health Care Medical Clinic. Yes I read the message fromDeonya Tillman finally. Why does this company leave a message on their web site? They have my phone and address. No communication and no return phone calls from this company. Why? No resolution because no-one will return phone calls.

Whoever the woman is answering the phone at the front desk today was NOT very pleasant. Called just to tell that i didnt need a follow up appointment and her tone and personality was crap.

I got the impression the assistant I saw was new. She used the wrong size cuff to take my blood pressure, and I was there with an UTI issue, but I had to mention that they needed a urine speciman. In the restroom there were speciman cups but no wipes or pen, which the sign said was provided, to write your name on the cup. Also, no one or instructions on who to give the sample to, or where to take it. Just got the feeling of total unprofessional staff. Dr, I think, came in and did a cursary exam. Afterwards, I wad never told of the test results, just told the Dr called in a prescription and I could leave. Didnt feel got very competent care, but at least I got the antibiotics. Would never go for anything more serious.

Its funny the people who gave it five stars all work there... very misleading also I find it a very inconvenient that if i ask for a appt 1st available which is 9am i I shouldnt be getting called back at or after 10am leaving out of the office after 12pm very inconsiderate of others time and schedules. I like Dr. Ben but i also feel confused afterwards when i get home i realize all my concerns that i Brought up arnt completely addressed and when i call (which I hate the system they have) I have to leave a message wait for someone to call me back just for them to take a message to give the Dr and wait for a call I will never get i mean thats really poor patient handling if you ask me looking for new primary sad to say because i do like the Dr but the system and office and the way ppl talk to you is beyond obscured
