Ive been to a few physical therapists over the last decade and had been feeling like they werent helping me deal with the pain I was describing. They gave me some exercises, or had me ride an exercise bike while they attended to other patients... but the pain didnt resolve. Going to Andrea, my expectation was that this would be more of the same and that I was doomed to adapt to my pain rather than heal it. But (thankfully!) I was quickly surprised. Andrea takes her time to understand the specific pain and how it is related to the rest of your body. Shes holistic in her practice, shes patient and caring, and she individualizes her plans to your needs. I would recommend her to my closest family and friends (and anyone else) any day.

When my hip pain started I was scared, one day It started to stab me in the side and it didnt let up. I went to the doctor and started on pain meds, which helped, but just covered up the pain. I could still feel it hiding and when the meds started to wear off, it came back with a vengeance. I though, what an I going to do, I couldnt work with the pain, I could barely think on the meds, I couldnt spend time with my children or do the things I needed around the house. I was just stuck, sitting in bed, crying from the pain and the fear that I would never get better.Im writing my first review ever, to make sure that people know there is hope. I tired a lot of things to help my pain, every home remedy and a bunch of internet gadgets. They didnt help and my doctor seems to have no idea why I was in pain. It wasnt until I found Andrea at Insight physical therapy that I started to get better. She knew right away what was wrong, how I did it and what I needed to do to fix my problem (not cover it up with medication).Unlike my doctor or my first physical therapist (who I didnt not write a review for) Andrea actually spent time with me, figuring me out, almost an hour the first time I came in! She is amazing and I felt better after the first visit, with continued treatment I got better and better. I ended my time with her pain free. I dont think that would have happened at another place or with my doctor.Anyone who has pain, go to insight, they will actually fix what is wrong with you and you can go back to your normal life!
