I want to be transparent about my experience here so people know what to expect for a one hour $170 medical massage. This was the only massage clinic within a 30 mile radius of Corvallis that accepted my insurance.Got into the room and Lori helped me come up with stretches for the first 30 minutes which was helpful but seemed excessive.Once we started the massage, she started over sharing her personal political beliefs and started pushing various COVID conspiracy theories (anti-mask, anti-vaccine, anti-science). I felt very uncomfortable and did not feel I could speak up or leave because I was naked on a massage table and vulnerable. I should have asked to stop and agree to disagree but I was worried my treatment would have been compromised.Tl;dr: Tried to get a medical massage but instead I got lectured about how masks are causing children to not get enough oxygen (not true) and how Dr. Fauci wants to kill us all by giving us a vaccine.
