Fuse has all the right elements to keep me going back and staying committed to working out. Fuse is a community. The trainers all know my name, classmates greet each other, and trainers will follow-up with me personally on problems and fixes Ive asked them about. I also love that Fuse offers many different class times with different trainers, all with their own styles and strengths. I considered getting a 24 Hour Fitness subscription at one point, but it lacked the sense of community and humanity that Fuse brings to working out. If you want to train with people who are friendly, who care about your well-being, and are never intimidating, but instead, encouraging and supportive, Id say check out Fuse.

Love working out with all the great instructors at the Fuse! They keep things interesting with varied workouts and great music. Pascha and Kristen have created a positive and encouraging environment that help their clients meet their goals. All the instructors care if you are doing an exercise correctly so you dont hurt yourself and are always willing to modify for current injuries/issues. Ive been coming weekly for 3 years which is the longest I have been with any gym or studio. Definitely found my home. Thanks Fuse!

The workouts are great - the trainers always find a way to keep everyone engaged and motivated. The classes are challenging but there are always modifications for anyone that needs them. But the thing that really sets this gym apart is the people; its an incredibly friendly, supportive environment that makes it easy to keep coming back.

This is a great studio easily accessible on San Pablo Ave. Most people that work out here live close by so its nice to support a local, women-owned business. Most of the group classes are located here and personal training occurs at both Albany and Kensington locations. The workouts are tough but the trainers dont have a drill sergeant approach.I started personal training with Kristin/Pascha 1.5 years ago because I wasnt getting anywhere on my own at the big-box gyms. Now, its a part of my routine and something I look forward to which I didnt expect when I first started. I tell people that its worth the money because I actually stick to it!

Approaching middle age prompted me to contemplate my future self.  “Do I want to be healthy and active in retirement down the road?  Or, do I accept the alternative?” At that crossroad in my life, I made a commitment to get healthier.  I started working out at a gym in Albany two months after my 39th birthday. When that studio closed, some of us transferred to Fuse Fitness upon recommendation of our trainer. Now, almost 7 years after that crossroad, I can say that I have never been stronger in my life! The group classes I attend are combination of strength, cardiovascular (i.e. HIIT), balance, and flexibility training. The trainers who so patiently worked with me over the years — Kristen, Gail, Suki, Zak and Preston — are phenomenal.  Since also regularly attending yoga class, I am more flexible now at 46 than at 26.Not only do I get a great workout at Fuse, but I feel part of a wonderful community, a community where there is a strong sense of support and encouragement (rather than competition). I love the idea of growing “old” with everyone as we all get stronger and healthier together.I think one of the best things in life is when you surprise yourself. At Fuse, with the support of wonderful trainers and the community of “Fusers,” I have developed a love of exercise. It is no longer “I have to work out,” it’s “I need to work out.” Unless I am away on vacation, I haven’t missed a single week at Fuse.My life is forever changed!
