The most unprofessional medical office! They don’t care about their patients or their health! My husband had a sleep study in April. He had to wait 4 weeks for his follow up appointment. He was recommended a CPap and was told he’d have it in 2 weeks. After 3 weeks he called and was told they lost his order. Again several weeks then another call. Still no record of his order. If you can get a person on the phone you are lucky! Many phone calls go unanswered. After finally demanding equipment my husband was referred to another vendor for his equipment. Finally 3 months later he got his Cpap. No follow up calls or anything from St Peter’s sleep center to even see if he had his equipment or had any issues. His follow up was last week but 3 days before he got a call changing his in person appointment to a phone appointment. And guess what? THEY NEVER CALLED OR HAVE SINCE ANSWERED HIS CALLS! Yesterday he walked in and demanded his records. HE IS DONE WTH THIS CENTER!

If I could give them a 0 I would. My son was referred there back in March and after 3 months of phone calls (most of which were unanswered and not returned) they finally put the authorization through for the insurance. Every time I called to check the status they told me they were waiting on the insurance company when in reality they never even sent it to them! They also told me it would take 2-3 weeks for results and we’re over the 3 week mark now. I’ve called them multiple times to see how much longer for results but no one ever answers. They’re the only place in the area that could do a sleep study on my 18 month old son but I’d rather take him out of town then ever deal with them again.

The doctors are fine but their phone system is horrible. What to expect:1. If you call in the afternoon, the phone will ring indefinitely without even an answering machine picking up. They can only be called in the morning.2. If you have a virtual meeting, if it happens at all, it will start 10 minutes late or more because thats how long it takes their messages to reach you.3. Dont be surprised if you never get texted/called with a remote meeting, then get a message telling you that you missed your appointment.4. If you manage to get through to them, or they call you, make sure you schedule an in-person meeting on the spot. Who knows when you can get through again.5. Also, they cant be emailed. The required authentication field at the bottom of the email form is missing, so you cant click send.

I have been impressed with the friendly and knowledgeable staff at St Peters Sleep Center. Every time I have had a question or needed assistance the receptionist and respiratory staff have been quick to respond and offered helpful suggestions. Although I was unable to use the CPAP it was not for their lack of trying. I would highly recommend them to anyone. My pulmonologist referred me and within 24 hours I received a friendly call walking me through the process and encouraging me to reach out with any questions. Thank you!!

I am a former patient of Albany ENTs sleep center. Apparently, St Peters has taken over the sleep center portion of of their practice. I have called numerous times to try to get an appointment (my C-PAP is old) but cannot get a hold of a live person and no one will return my voice mails. Asking Albany ENT for another sleep center that will actually communicate with their patients.

They had an old address in their system and kept sending bills to the wrong address. However, we had given them the correct address. They told us no less than on 3 different occasions they were going to fix it. They didnt! What did they do? They sent us to collections and gave collections the wrong address!!! We got lucky that I happened to be passing the old house one day and was handed the notices and realized we were in collections. They couldnt take the time to properly change our address in their system in spite of our multiple calls and our properly giving them our address! Their back office is horrible. So basically, by pure chance we were able to avoid credit troubles. I am still unsure if they have the correct address for us. Never going back.

I have found my care at the sleep clinic comprehensive and very helpful. What I do have difficulty with is the fact that their appointments are made one year ahead and they do not make any calls to remind you of your appointment set the year before. I feel the staff or a taped reminder needs to be put in place as a patient courtesy. Upon missing the appointment it is very hard to get into booked schedules. This is the only office I receive care from that does not call with reminders even though their clients are generally seen yearly. In every other aspect of care I am very satisfied.

At the beginning of the pandemic the office seemed a little chaotic and I had trouble getting someone to call me back. That has not been an issue since. Dr. Weiss is excellent and always takes the time to listen and helps me with any issues I have.

I did an on site sleep study last night. I didn’t have to wait to go in and get started. The staff was very friendly and timely. Alegra was the nurse assigned to me. She did her clinical at this facility and it was her first night on the job. She was very professional, thorough, kind, and personable. She was very communicative so I knew what to expect each step of the way. For her first night, I thought she did an excellent job. I wouldn’t have known if it wasn’t for the male staff who introduced me to her. I don’t recommend telling customers she’s in training. She knows exactly what she is doing and does a great job. 🙂❤️ highly recommend to anyone needing a sleep study. I go to Albany ENT & Sleep specialists. They always help me get my appointments situated. I’ve personally never had an issue with St Peters Sleep Center. I do hope unsatisfied customers give the facility another shot. 😊❤️

I have had quite a few poor experiences at the sleep center. Every time I call, I cant get through, and if I leave a message no one calls me back. Ive even been hung up on a couple of times. Sometimes I get through, but it has taken over 20 minutes. I also had a very bad experience with my provider, who was rude and told me that she had no idea why I was feeling fatigue and just basically ended my follow-up appointment without saying anything more. I was very unimpressed indeed. Luckily, I am with Dr. Weiss now, who has really impressed me. I hope the practice as a whole makes some widespread changes though.

Dont go unless you want to pay $1200 for a sleep study. They told me that my insurance company would cover everything when I initially went there the first time. Kept telling me how free and affordable everything was during my visits. A month later, they started sending me bills for the equipment that I used. Talked to the customer service department and they were incredibly rude. Telling me I hope you dont have to get a sleep machine if you think the bills are expensive.Thought everything was finally settled, 7 MONTHS later theyre are sending me more bills. They are straight up crooks at St. Peters, looking only for money and not care.

The worst billing experience of my life! They keep sending claims to the WRONG insurance companies. Keep sending as in multiple times. After the first time they sent me the full bill instead of to my insurance, I was on the phone forever before they claimed to resolve it. Now I have a second, significantly larger bill that my insurance swears it didn’t get and St. Peter’s says it isn’t sure what to do about it or sure about any of the details. Now it’s a big thing and I’m gonna need to wait over the weekend to hopefully hear back from them. I was on the line with my insurance company this time when I called the St. Peter’s office and they were shocked by how badly the billing process was going over there.

Absolutely atrociously run facility. I will state first that the actual sleep study done was excellent, the technicians and doctors were professional and made the process easy. I had the study done through the VA choice program December of 2017. Everything was set up prior to this and I shouldnt have had to do anything after the study was done. A month later I get a bill in the mail for the sleep study. I was told on the phone the facility cares for many veterans so if this isnt new for them they should know billing me directly probably isnt what is suppose to happen. No phone call, no letter requesting me to contact them, just a bill. I call the number on the bill and explain the situation, they seemed to grasp the mistake after I explained so I am assuming it has happened before, but things were settled by the end of the conversation.May 14 2018 I get a voicemail from Saint Peters Health Partners Medical Associates saying how they have not received payment for my consultation nor sleep study and that attempts to bill the VA have failed. So here I am 5 months later, no call, no letters in the mail, no message relayed through the VA prior to this and I have an overdue bill trying to be collected on I thought was taken care of twice now. So for the third attempt to correct this I call the number provided and within seconds they identify their mistake, as of writing this I have not heard anything.More importantly the VA requested the medical records from them 4/27/18 for a claim I made, they have been ignored. 5/14/18 they made a second attempt, as of 5/29/18 it has been ignored. I plan to go over today and figure out why it is so hard to send out mail there. There was also a huge delay getting copies of these records to my primary care doctor back in January 2018. I dont know who runs their administrative department there or financial department but they need to be fired. This is unacceptable. I might have to appeal which can take up to 7 years because someone cannot pick up a phone or send out a piece of mail. The doctor there did call once asking if I wanted to continue care there for various other issues, but with this kind of professionalism in the other departments, no thank you. Never again.

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. They never return phone calls. I did the sleep study with my son and got the results a month ago. The doctor never called in the prescription and I have called 10+ times and have gotten no return phone call. This is hands down the absolute WORST experience Ive ever had with a doctors office in my 39 years. DO NOT GO HERE.

Last August I was told I would be receiving a bi-pap machine. I did, but from the wrong company! Now they want it back. Ive called St. Peters Sleep Center several times but nothing gets done. They dont get back to me or tell me whats going on.They gave me a name of a company but they dont get back to me either. I just get lost in voice jail and it must be that I leave my messages in the wrong area.

Horrible customer service! I have been trying to schedule an appointment for almost two months. I have called at least 6 times and left a message and the doctor has also called. No one ever calls back or attempts to contact me at all. Since they dont want my business, I will go elsewhere. They are the provider in my network so I had hoped to go there but they are awful. This lack of service only makes me more concerned that their other services would also be lacking.

They have the worst customer service skills. My initial appointment took 5 phone calls from my doctor and 4 from me to be setup. They never return phone calls when you leave a message . When they make changes to your machine it takes them two to three days to send the script to the equipment office which is in the same building. When ever I had to call for an appt it took several calls before someone would pick up the phone . I had to call several times because noone would return calls when a message was left.

Went to the Sleep Center for an apnea test. Was not informed that my insurance covered only half, leaving me a $1,500 balance out of pocket, which I paid anyway. Was charged $50 three times for two home studies with no explanation, which I paid anyway. Was then sent a collection notice from an Overton law office saying I still owed $50, still no explanation. When I called them they were of no help. When I called the sleep center they told me tersely that there was no billing dept. at that office and referred me to another phone number. Ive so far called this number three times over several hours and have only gotten voicemail and no return call. Horrible experience.

I first went there in 1999 and had always had a good experience till a couple of years ago. I started having a hard time getting anything I needed from my supply company that needed a prescription. The sleep center would always say they sent it so I blamed my supply provider and switched to another one (which is difficult). Now Im having the same problem with my new supply co and I am finding out it really is St PetersSleep center that is the problem. If you can have your sleep test through a different center, do it. Save yourself years of grief if you need a cpap.
