Dr. Pacleb is the best dentist I have had in my life. She is extremely knowledgeable, careful, kind and gentle, and simply the best among the many dentists I have had in my life. Wow. Warm and genuinely friendly greeting upon arrival. Staff handled time and duties efficiently. I wasn’t in an infomercial where the dentist and hygienist were trying to sell me a toothbrush—that I NEEDED *THIS* toothbrush. Instead, it was my dental health that was the primary topic. I’m happy I listened to my intuition about another office not being right for me back in April and I immediately looked for another office (found Pacleb) and as long as I live in the East Bay Area I’ll be their (Pacleb’s) patient. I made an appointment here (first appointment), appointments were about 2 months out. Arrived at my appointment after confirming the appointment twice via phone call from the dental office (once the day of and once the day before). Upon arriving I was told that Delta dental has a new policy and now we have to pay upfront for all services then wait to get reimbursed from the insurance. I’ve never heard of this before, maybe it is a new policy. A heads up during one of the 2 phone calls would have been great. My husband already had recently been to this dentist (we have the same insurance) so they have already verified it. Plus we carry two full coverage dental insurances so paying out of pocket for a simple X-ray and cleaning is strange. This dentist has good reviews and I wish I would have been able to experience that service. I canceled the appointment which was a huge waste of my time.

If you are lucky enough to be able to get in to see Dr.Pacleb and her team, you will be so taken care of! Dr. Pacleb and team have always gone above and beyond. During the pandemic they quickly found ways to adapt their strategies to ensure that covid protocols were being followed. I felt so safe during the visit. This place feels like home. Never thought Id ever look forward to going to the dentist, but here I am leaving this review. Its been about 9 years now, and what Ive gotten are good memories, great care, excellent referrals to other specialists, and a better smile for it. To each their own, but Im glad I finally found the dentist for me (the real credit goes to my better half who told me time and time again to try this place).

The entire staff did an excellent job of following all health guidelines to ensure safety for clients and staff. They sent out an email to me before my appointment to let me know what to expect and what I could do to ensure a safe and efficient visit. They followed through on their end and my dental visit was very smooth. As usual I received exceptional dental care from Dr. Pacleb, dental hygienist Tom, and their entire team.

Before I came to Dr. Pacleb, I had very small and skinny laterals but she reshaped them to a normal size! I’m very happy with how my teeth look now and I love their service. Tom is an amazing hygienist who really cares about your health and will give you tips on what toothpaste to use. He’s very informational and will leave you educated after your appointment!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Ellen Pacleb since she opened her practice many years ago. Her expertise and superb care is the reason she has my loyalty; I know I’m in good hands. The safety protocol she has put in place during the pandemic made me feel at ease going in for my six-month cleaning a couple of weeks ago. Her husband, Tom, (my hygienist) is always knowledgeable and fun. Though polishing is no longer part of the visit (due to COVID), Tom did an excellent job. I was apprehensive to explore a new dentist after a harrowing experience with an implant at another dentist. The staff at Dr. Pacleb’s office was able to talk me off the ledge and we did a virtual intake prior to my First visit. Office manager Maxine was awesome and dental technician Mirasol was nice and efficient.My meeting with Dr. Pacleb was forthright and timely in that she expressed her history as a Dentist and how she works with the patient to define a plan of action for each individual. She was clear, concise and informative. I am looking forward to my next consultation.They keep the office cold due to an air recirculating system to protect against covid so bring a jacket 🧥

My wife and I have been long-term patients of Dr. Pacleb and her team of dental care providers. Today I had my semi-annual teeth cleaning, and along with the customary thoughtful, pain-free exam and cleaning, I was deeply impressed with the care for a clean environment, protection for patients and staff, via ppe and stringent cleaning of all surfaces, equipment and rooms. Ellen and Tom are very nice, and make you feel comfortable, professional and do great dental work at reasonable prices. 18 years ago, Ellen put a permanent bridge in my lower jaw and it is still in place and doing great! Recently she replaced a crown and repaired a broken tooth. They take their time and get the job done correctly!

Ive been going to Dr Paclebs practice for about 2 years now and I love it. Dr Pacleb did a thorough exam of my teeth on the first visit and went through the options with me, making it clear what was necessary vs cosmetic. Efficient, friendly, expert - the best!

Dr. Pacleb is by far the best dentist I have ever had. Before going to her office, I had a long lapse in treatment, which was preceded by years of military dentistry, but Dr. Pacleb made the whole process of fixing my neglected teeth as painless as possible. When I needed treatment to be cleared for orthodontics, she did a 3 hour tooth-repair marathon so I could start treatment as soon as possible.I am always amazed at how soon I am able to be scheduled for any treatment or exam at her clinic.I recommend her to everyone who asks for a dentist.

Recently did some dentist searching and came across Paclebs office. Everyone there is super nice and they even have a therapy dog! I was nervous to meet with a new dentist but I can already tell Dr.Pacleb will be a great fit for me.

Dr. Pacleb worked me in not once but twice with a weeks time to replace and then adjust a cavity. The problem was not an emergency but I was leaving the country within the week and she did everything to make sure my dental issues were solved completely. Because of her regard for my schedule and her professionalism - and great work - my trip was dentally uneventful.

My kids and I have been going to Dr. Pacleb for years. Shes a great dentist, very thorough but not jumping to do things you dont need. Tom the hygienist is amazingly gentle and very knowledgeable about dental health, and hilarious to boot. All the staff are friendly and helpful.

Wonderful, preventative, and thorough and run like a true family business. I have never walked in there and seen a disgruntled face. I love going there, as do my children. They are honest and explicit about what insurance pays for and what it does not and provide information to weigh pros and cons. It prompts one to think through things, which I highly appreciate. My children, ages 5, 12, and 15 always seem very enthusiastic about going there. My now 5 yr old has been asking me for the past 3 years, can we go to the dentist today if we are also going to the car wash? I try to explain there is kind of a difference and that we will go back soon. I am quite busy with my work and kids and dont have time to do these reviews/feedbacks, but I will certainly vouch for the Pacleb Dentistry (as long as they dont get too full for my kids and I to get scheduled!).

I started going to Dr. Paclebs office about 8 years ago on the recommendation of a coworker. And they have done a wonderful job all those 8 years. The staff are very helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. At the same time, they are friendly and fun to talk to. Tom (the hygienist), in particular, is a fun guy to talk to, and I enjoy hearing his stories. Strangely enough, I actually look forward to going to the dentist as a result!I once had a problem where my insurance wouldnt cover part of my visit that *was* covered under insurance, and they worked tirelessly to get the insurance company to pay for it. I really appreciated how much effort they put towards that, even though it took a year (!) for the insurance company to finally pay.Dr. Pacleb and Tom are great people, and I hope to keep coming here for years. If I ever have to move, I would be very sad because I dont think I could find a dental office as awesome as this one.

After meeting Dr. Pacleb for an emergency dental work on my tooth (6 years ago), I would never trust my dental work to anyone else. The staff is up-to-date with all the latest dental procedures. The care and comfort of the patient is always their first priority. While there, they take the time to educate their patients on the latest advance in the dental field on home care, etc.We have moved over an hour away and still make the commute back for our dental work with Dr. Pacleb and her staff. We have not met anyone who provides dental services at even half the level that we have with Dr. Pacleb. There is no hesitation between my husband and I about commuting back to Albany for our dental work. This is an honest and unpaid review.
