After a very off-putting experience at Aspen Dental (where I felt simultaneously like a product on a dental assembly line and like a very captive audience for a barrage of Oral B ads) I decided to make the switch over to Dental Wellness of Albany, and I am so glad that I did.The staff was helpful and friendly, and Dr. Herzog actually cared. I came in for a consultation to get an underwire retainer removed and replaced with a removable retainer. Within 30 minutes he and his team had introduced themselves, taken only the x-rays that were necessary, removed the bar, and completed the form for the retainer. The process was quick and efficient, but never felt rushed.This is exactly what I was hoping for from a dentist, and will be going there for all my dental needs going forward.Thanks gang!

The first time I saw Dr Herzog I had a painful bridge done by another dentist. The first time he looked at the bridge and found the problem. He went to bat for me and received a full refund from the prior Dentist. Dr Herzog replace the bad bridge and I’ve never had a problem since. He is always honest and straight forward. Dr. Herzog is a great dentist. Im a very sensitive individual, having had bad reactions to mercury amalgam fillings and a number of dental adhesive materials, which can make me a difficult patient for the average dentist to deal with. I specifically sought out a dentist who was familiar with these kinds of issues, and I found that in Dr. Herzog. Not only does he have a high level of knowledge when it comes to biologic dentistry and the potential complications that can arise when treating sensitive individuals, but he has a high degree of emotional understanding, patience, and compassion, as well. Dr. Herzog is very skilled in what he does, and its clear that he really cares about the comfort, health and well-being of his patients. Id also like to mention that his assistants likewise are excellent, are very proficient, very friendly, and do a great job in putting patients at ease and in making the procedures go smoothly. The office staff is capable and efficient, and all together this adds up to a great experience. I found Dr. Herzog to be a kind and thorough dentist. I went to him several years ago on the recommendation of a friend to have my teeth evaluated for possible occult infections. Using various techniques, Dr. Herzog identified two teeth with probable problems and one tooth with a possible problem. On follow up with my endodontist who was able to further evaluate these teeth using a CT scanner, Dr. Herzog‘s impressions were validated. I subsequently had one tooth pulled and the other one re-treated for a root canal.

Ive been seeing Dr. Herzog for a number of years. He and his staff are highly professional, competent, and always caring and thoughtful regarding my comfort throughout whatever procedures I am receiving. They are to be commended for maintaining a safe environment during the COVID pandemic period. I recommend Dr Herzog and his practice without reservation.

Dr Herzog and his staff are amazing (dental assistant & hygienist). I recently had my molar (root canal went bad) extracted and Dr Herzog truly did a fabulous job extracting, cleaning, sterilizing, scrapping, and suturing. Ill not trust anyone else but a Biological Dentist to perform this operation. And, please educate yourself before getting a root canal. I did not years ago when root canal was ordered by my previous dentist out in CA. I wish I knew better back then to reject root canal operation. I am glad that it was removed for good. I had metal fillings removed and replaced with non-metallic fillings. The entire process was the best dental care I have ever experienced. Dr Herzog is the only SMART Certified dentist anyway in the surrounding area. As well, the receptionists and hygienists are incredibly professional and put me at ease. They understand dental care on an entirely different level from anything that I have previously experienced.

Visiting my family 3 years ago and a crown fell out. What started as an emergency visit has turned into a new regular dentist. (Fortunately I visit frequently enough that this is feasible).Dr Primomo was highly recommended and now I know why. Shes knowledgable, empathetic, proactive but not pushing to redo and replace all my old dental work until the work is essential. Dr Primomo was able to repair a problem that 2 prior dentists couldnt resolve.I value their modern technology (in-mouth-camera) and skilled hygienists.The office was immaculate before covid and now they take every precaution to keep patients and staff safe.

I have been in the dental field for 40+ years.I know from personal experience that this office is up on all the latest technology and uses superior products.They always on time and takes the times to listen to any dental concerns.They dont recommend treatment that isnt necessary. I can honestly say going to this office was one of the best medical experiences I have ever had. I went to Dr. Herzog after not going to the dentist for years. Surprise, I had an issue with one of my teeth that needed a root canal. I went through the root canal with a different doctor (and will never recommend a root canal to anyone in my life) but it was done. Afterwards, I experienced pain, and gum inflammation, among other symptoms that seemed to line up with my timing of root canal. I went back to the oral surgeon and they told me I was nuts and sent me on my way. I went back to Dr. Herzog and got the complete opposite response. He listened to me, gave me the space to talk about my concerns, and helped me to find the best path forward. In the mean time he gave me some relief by doing ozone therapy, which I loved. I have many various allergies and Dr. Herzog and his team helped me to take care of teeth in the best and most natural way possible. I was referred to another oral surgeon (by Dr. Herzog) for extraction of my tooth. Following that, I felt incredible!!! Tooth pain gone, gum inflammation gone, and some other various side effects I was having gone as well. The care and respect I received from Herzog and Primomo DDS is something I hope all healthcare providers can one day stand up to. I am so grateful!!

His accreditations speak for his knowledge and experience already but it wasn’t until the actual removal of an amalgam filling that I saw a difference between his level of mastery and other dentists. I have been a denture wearer for many years. I needed new ones and decided not to go to a discount denture place. I spent quite a bit of time reading reviews and talking to friends and decided to try Dr.Primomo. It was a very good choice. The office is very professional and well run. I never had a long wait in the waiting room. Dr.Trish, as her staff calls her, was very nice and listened very carefully to what I was looking for. She never once tried to talk me into getting implants, which I was thankful for. My new denture is exactly what I was hoping for. Dr.Trish and her assistant were extremely kind and patient with the multiple small changes I requested and the finished product is just perfect, including a space between my two front teeth I asked for to make them look more real.I couldn’t be happier with my choice of new dentist and would highly recommend her for all dental care. Fees are as good or better than other dentists

In and out within an hour, made to feel very comfortable, it was a no pain visit. Dr. Trish is very careful to provide the best possible experience. Dr. Herzogs combined training in dentistry, engineering, and naturopathic medicine makes him well informed on the possible problems of root canals, metal sensitivities and the relationship between dental problems and overall health. Dr. Herzog has been my dentist for over 15 years. His continuing knowledge of his trade contributes to his excellence. I don’t usually write reviews, but for this I have no option. I agree Tricia is amazing. I am an intern and have to take permissions to be absent from work. Tried getting appointment for 4 pm in that way I would definitely be there on time, but couldn’t. I cancelled my first appointment because I had a root canal done and was still in pains so couldn’t keep up with that. They called me a day before my second appointment and told me to come in 10 minutes earlier which I don’t really have control over because I work in a doctors office and these things are not predictable. Anyways, on the day of appointment, got there at 2:15 (original appointment 2 pm) and they told me I was almost 30 mins late. Was shocked because they changed my appointment time without being direct and getting confirmation from me. They then told me that they can’t make anymore appointments because I cancelled one and was late for the other. This is what I got after waiting 4 months for an appointment. Very poor customer service.

I have been to this practice a couple of times in the past few months to get necessary work done. Dr. Tricia has been nothing but dedicated, professional, and forthcoming when it comes to my dental health. I have left there feeling well informed and prepared for post-appointment care as well as confident that I can touch base with Dr. Tricia with any concerns. I just got off the phone with the patient appointment coordinator. she told me she wont be able to set me up with an appointment because i currently have medicade. im not even using medicade to pay for the consultation or mercury filling removal, i have a credit line for the procedure. im disabled and on government health insurance and the office discriminated against me even though i can pay in full for the services.

Ive known Dr Herzog since the late 90s when he was our Cub Scout Leader.I recently changed our family to Dr. Herzog about 2 years ago after not being happy with my prior dentist. I had a problem with a Crown that my prior dentist could not help with and after my first visit was feeling better!Everyone is very nice, professional and accommodating.I had a crown on my front tooth that was getting about 10 years old that broke off last night. Dr Herzog had me in this morning with a very good temporary fix so I could go on my business trip over the next few days and will see me Monday when I get back!Great work, great service and great people. The staff is welcoming and friendly and are willing to go the extra mile for every patient.Just recently I had to take my father in for an emergency root canal with Dr. Herzog. Starting with the phone call to their Office Manager, Kathy, she was very pleasant and helpful and made arrangements in the schedule for him to be seen THAT DAY. When we arrived, we were greeted with smiles from the front office staff and asked to update his paperwork. He was then taken back within minuets!! Dr. Herzog was extremely knowledgeable and professional and made sure to take the time to explain everything in detail and made sure that both my father and I were comfortable with what he was going to do. He put both of us totally at ease. The procedure was quick and painless and he felt relief almost immediately.Dr. Herzogs office is a WONDERFUL place! Dr. Herzog is one of a kind! Historically, I hate going to the dentist, but since meeting Dr. Herzog I know longer dread going to my appointments. He is professional, kind and compassionate for people who are afraid of the dentist.

I had a dental implant from another dentist that was causing me a lot of unnecessary pain because it did not fit well with the upper teeth. He quickly identified the problem and made corrections in the tooth that was biting into my cheek when I slept. I now have a dentist that I both like and trust.

I find it difficult to put into words how wonderful the doctors and staff at Dr. Primomo/Dr. Herzogs office. I have been seeing Dr. Bill since I was a kid and dread the day he decides to retire. I have had a fair amount of dental work done and have never had a bad experience. Recently Dr. Herzog performed a dental implant for me. I walked in the room a little nervous, but once I was in the chair that apprehension went away. If you are looking for a dentist who is caring, non-judgemental, and calls you by name (instead of treating you as a number) this is the place for you.
