Its important to get an appointment when the shop is least busy and to communicate exactly what you want to your stylist. Carrie Ann is great. Prices are comparable with other salons in the area. I love that they carry their own hair care products.

Absolutely loved it here very professional and prompt and I loved my hair I wanted curls I received curls!!!

So I went to this place to get eyelash clusters because I needed them done quick and easy and didn’t have time to go somewhere for real lash extensions. Boy did I make a huge mistake. First off, I came in and asked for the lashes. The girl told me they were 65.. I don’t pay anywhere close to that at my other girl who does the clusters, I pay 20. So whatever I needed them I couldn’t go to that girl she wasn’t available. I went back to the chair and sat there for over 10 min waiting while she sat in the front on her phone. She wouldn’t of came back even after 10 minutes If my fiancé didn’t come in and see how long I was going to be. She also gave my fiancé an attitude. But whatever right maybe a bad day. This wasn’t the first time the attitude was there though. I also came in previously for lashes which were done okay. Not the best but okay. Tolerable for what I needed them for until my other girl back. The last time she told me to stop talking when I asked her how she was doing and what not. Very rude. I had a mask on so it’s not like it was an issue with that. But I let it go. But this time after getting my lashes done the attitude, the wait while she was on her phone it didn’t just stop there. She glued the lashes to my damn skin on my eye lids. I was in excruciating pain after a couple hours. In tears. They also looked and felt like plastic?! And I knew if I called her the attitude and argument I would get to try and get my money back. She could of seriously hurt my eyes. When I soaked them to get them off with out injury it ripped a lot of my eyelashes out. So please steer clear from this place for your own safety and honestly the attitude and negativity that is around her isn’t even worth any money spent there. You can go somewhere else for a so much better experience price and outcome of the service. If 0 stars could be put that’s what I would’ve done.

Very professional and knowledgeable on hair care.

Told me a trim was necessary for a silk press or it would frizz up and it still did the very next day. Waste of 65 dollars. I should of known she did a horrible job on a custom wig for my mom and tried to charge her to fix it. Smh

I came to this place to get my dreads retwisted....the girl that did my hair literally only did the root. I still had extra hair sticking out close to my roots. How can i go around thinking im cute with all that extra hair out, where they do that at. Usually I do my own hair and when i do it I make sure i dont have any loose hair out. I was disappointed when i left. The owner was nice but that girl who did my hair, gots to go.

This is my first time visiting Heaven on Earth salon and I must say it was a pleasant experience. I had no long wait time unlike the previous salon I was going to.I found Kerry-Ann to be highly professional, engaging and very kind. Nice salon the owner I do not know her name was nice enough to get me in same day. The lil Dominican or Puerto rican was fire and dressed so cute and her energy was everything just dont tell everyone your business boo boo because some people will definitely go back and run their mouths. You can not trust everyone out here in new york BELIEVE that. ANYWAYS; Great customer service and the vibe was nice. I enjoyed being the only person getting attention even though the stylist was on her phone the whole time speaker phone at that the vibe was nice and my hair was so fresh and clean and definitely handled with love. I am still using my growth oil and I do see some results. Highly recommend this place and remember to wash your hands every time your enter and exit her shop.

I got my hair done for a special event here.The owner is a great stylist!! I got my cut done here by her and it was done so well. 😍 I’m natural with very long hair and particular of-course, and my wash/condition/silk press was Slayeddd!!! If I could give more stars I would. Her other stylist took care of me for my silk press made me feel comfortable. Everyone was very nice and sweet. 💙 I’ll be back for sure!

Kerri Ann was the first professional to ever touch my hair, and she treated me with no judgement and like a queen. I was never left alone, and she took the time to answer all of my questions. And the gospel music makes it even better. Ive gotten extensions ( sew in) relaxers and hair cuts from here multiple times and its always been excellent. I highly recommend coming here. I have been getting relaxer touch ups every few weeks for a little over a year at Heaven on Earth. Since I started coming to this salon, my hair has grown so much, and is much healthier. The staff are always polite, courteous, and professional. Kerry-Ann not only does an amazing job on my hair, but also SLAYS my eyebrows. I will never go anywhere else.

Excellent cut for me and sew in for my daughter as first time customers. Very professional service provided all around. I suggest going to their photo gallery. Kerryann is friendly indeed and the atmosphere is more then I could have hoped for!

There needs to be a disclaimer when booking an appointment with the owner! There are many people she services at once.This review is not about her technique as I cannot attest to that. She got started with my hair, then went over to 2 other customers putting on a relaxer and dying another persons hair , while I am just sitting in the chair waiting , like what is going . When I approached her about it she got very argumentative and nasty instead of apologizing as I am a client paying for a service to be rendered at a specific time. I thought I was the only one who experienced this until I read some of the non 5 star reviews on here. They have had the same exact issues.

I made an appointment with Kerry-ann who was not ready until 40 minutes after we had scheduled. I had originally had an appointment scheduled for that morning that she had called to cancel and reschedule for this time. When I brought this up she became argumentative and rude instead of apologizing and moving forward; did not stay to get my hair done. I recommend not taking the time to make an appointment, you will wait just as long, if not longer than if you walk in.

By far the best hair salon in Albany not only do you become family the first visit. The Gospel music will have you shouting in your seat and your hair style choice say no more that’s why it’s call heaven on earth. Get there Fast Ladies she also has hairs bundles for sale as well as bags/purses.

Absolutely terrible. From start to finish. The highlight was the surprise on the stylists face when I suggested moisturizer or leave in conditioner before she started drying or combing my hair.

Wow... I love my hair!! I got an ash blonde balayage and I’m VERY particular when it comes to hair and heaven on earth absolutely exceeded all expectations! They were absolutely fantastic and I’m obsessed with my balayage! I’ll definitely be going back!

My daughter had a Groupon gift certificate for a haircut and balayage for $48 . At the time of payment the girl said that my daughter needed to pay more because it should have actually said hair trim not hair cut. My daughter argued a bit but the hairdresser was obstinate and would not honor the groupon certificate as stated. My daughter had to pay $30 more. Also , after leaving the shop she discovered that one side of her hair was not cut right and had to go back in to correct it. Not happy with this shop...honesty is not their motto.

Never have your eyelashes did at this salon. The owner doesnt know what the heck shes doing. Went to a chinese salon several days later and was told they were uneven.

I always have an amazing experience with Kerri-An. She’s always professional and she can whip a full sewn in weave in under a hour and I always look amazing!

Horrible I went there as a new customer and was treated like a beggar Keri Ann is the most unprofessional hairstylist I’ve encountered. Very nice people but the skills do not match the price. I had my locs retwisted and the stylist required coaching along the way, I’ve never had my hair twisted with a comb. The twists were loose and my hair looks like I sat in the rain, mind you I have thick and soft hair. A lot of rework is required. Like I said, nice people but I’m never coming back.

I’ve been going to heaven on earth for over 2 years now and my hair has grown tremendously and continues to be healthy. Keri-Ann always does an amazing job on my hair and I’m never disappointed 😃. I definitely recommend her if any one is looking for a hair stylist in the Albany area.

My friend & I got our lashes done here and they looked absolutely horrible, we looked like 2 hoodrats. The lashes were so heavy and clumpy, I had to struggle to take them out the same day because they were so ugly. The lashes were plastic & not mink. My friend went back to get it removed and the lady couldn’t even remove it. How do you apply lashes on a client & not know how to take them out? Never coming here again!

Not a good experience. The owner was nice however her workers are inexperienced. Never have we went there and seen the same employees. Its almost as if she hires workers who are less experienced so it will make her look good. No one of real talent. The shop has real potential but the owner is threatened by real talent so she hires beneath her which is usually teenagers or inexperienced stylist. I am in support of black businesses i just wish our own would stop hindering themselves from growth. Its a salon of approx 7 chairs and theres 1 other hairstylist whose much older and works only on saturdays i believe. Why not fill the other chairs with stylist and let your shop bloosom.

I went to this salon and asked for a hair trim. The co-stylist ended up CUTTING not trimming my hair. Worst of all, she aggressively combed my hair from the root to ends using a small comb and didnt even properly section my hair. My hair was breaking and shedding ALOT. When I spoke up, she said it was okay to use that tiny comb to detangle my hair. I wouldnt recommend this salon. They can definitely improve their styling methods. I hope that they will.

Good color bad cut and terrible blending. My hair and my pieces dont match and she colored my face. It was too expensive and I currently have no edges.Also she burned my natural hair and I no longer have curls on one side of my head. Ridiculous wish I never went to her.

Keri Anne is weird. Like sort of not friendly. One thing that stands out is it’s never been the same ppl working there always different everytime I go.The owner is also not that good of a stylist.

This woman is so rude. I had an appointment and she made me wait even though i wanted to come later she made me come in earlier and i was there 10 minutes early made me wait an extra ten minutes after my appointment time.. i waited and all she did was talk down to me. she didnt even do my hair the way i wanted. extremely dissapointed...ive never been treated so badly by a stylist.i will never go back. it should be called hell on earth!!!!!!

My friend was charged 160 for a sew in that was lifting the same day it was installed there was several gaps between each track that was installed her frontal was not sewn all the way done it was just a very sloppy job but the staff was friendly and professional
