I really wish I could give this place a negative -100 rating. I am not sure if I could describe how horrific this place is! A couple of family members and friends were already getting help through this place so I decided to give it a try. I have never been more disappointed in a health facility than with this clown house. When you wait for endless hours and finally get to speak with a doctor, you only get roughly 15-20 to speak with them before they half-ass diagnose you. Then they randomly pick a psych med to let you try before you are scheduled to come back. The next time I was scheduled they called me over the phone and changed my appointment (which I already asked for off) to a different day because the woman who scheduled my initial appointment mistakenly scheduled it on a holiday that they were not open for. When I came in for my second appointment, of course after waiting endless hours, they called a few others and I back and then placed us in another room to wait for another 2 hours. All while workers are being rude, disorganized and uninterested to the fact that you have life outside of their walls and the fact that you have wasted a whole day because of their incompetence. Finally I see a different doctor than before. Wait a different doctor, however will they correctly diagnose me and find the proper treatment for me if I am constantly being bounced around between multiple doctors? So I get to talk to this doctor for another 15 min before they prescribe me a different medication. ( Let me just add this lil side note. I told the Dr. I did not like taking medication, the thought of it, the taste of it, potential side effects, and the feeling of it being stuck in my throat. So I get prescribed a medicine solely on the fact that it is chewable, and it was disgusting) I tried the medication and seen no difference so I discontinued it. A family member was admitted to the crisis center for a week due to lack of medication causing a nervous/anxiety/PTSD breakdown. While she was here for 7 days she was left without her glasses, showering necessities, and sanitary napkins. Some clothes were dropped off to her the day after she was admitted, They were not delivered to her until day 6 of 7. They Lost the clothes she went in there with, and was discharged without them ever being returned or found. On day 4 of 7 I went and dropped off some clothes and personal hygiene products. After I drove 30 min there they tell me at the door everything has to be unopened, she didnt receive these items and her glasses until she was released. It is amazing how the people who work here in what is supposed to be a professional environment are completely appalling. Also I would like to add the fact that this is more of a babysitting institute for addicts, rather than being a place with true intentions of helping others with mental illnesses
