Great pool, facilities were clean. We enjoyed our time and felt that the cost of getting in was affordable. It was relatively quick getting in for a drop in swim.

Ive been swimming at the rec center pool since I was a little girl. I worked as a lifeguard through my teen years and through some rough years of facility management. At the moment, the current management and staff do an excellent job to maintain the pool, though Im saddened its only seasonally available. Regardless, 5 stars.

Hoping to get pickleball going here

I was traveling through and wanted a good cardio workout on elliptical as I have bad knees and can’t run. I thought I’d try a community center instead of my usual chain type gym. I’ve belonged to 24 hour fitness, David Barton, Mercedes Club, Equinox, LA fitness, and have exercised at countless gyms as I travel extensively.The website advertised an elliptical and there were two uncomfortable off brand machines of poor quality. I thought I’d instead lift, but the same can be said about the weight equipment.My public high school 25 years ago in NY had much better equipment.The weight room is not the same as most modern urban gyms, so if you’re use to that this is not for you.I had to leave and find a different gym.I wish I could be more positive b/c this is a community center.

There is an Olympic size pool that is open in summer. Kids come to swim all season. They have day care and after school care. They teach kids how to swim. There is 2 full basketball courts inside and kids play basketball from age 4 and up. It is a good place for kids to go and be safe and enjoy.

Swimming here is super fun when its not crowded. The slides are awesome, and the picnic tables under canopies the most perfect addition. Totally wheelchair accessible, including the showers. But I am most impressed with the work the lifeguards do.

Great facility providing year round activities for young and old. Pool is well maintained. Gym is clean and well kept. New floor on the basketball court.

Pizza used to be the best thing ever when visiting home, but they have changed something about it. Still good I just miss how it was last visit. Which was only 6 months ago!

This is in a wonderful part of town. I know of much worse areas it could be in. Pretty centralized location. The staff are always kind and considerate. I enjoy taking my granddaughters.

Pretty high priced for a city recreation center. No indoor pool during the winter seems pretty weak. Could use racquetball courts or something else. Basketball is $3 and they can kick you out with no prior notice if they need to. They will not reimburse you and will not explain why. Poor management.

For our small town the rec center is a fun escape. My wife and I use the pool to practice snorkeling. The staff is always helpful.

Took my grandkids to the pool for a swim. Im disappointed in the city website as it lacks required information:1. The time of pool opening was wrong. Please note they open at 1:30pm not 1:00.2. Website has nothing on dress code, but there is one.3. Nothing on slide operations, it opened at 2:30pm.4. Nothing on the website about 15 min non swimming for all. Used to be adults could use the 15 min break to use the pool while kids sat out resting? Now only lifeguards swim then. They call it safety break?5. Refreshment stand was closed, so no where but a vending machine to get something to drink which is in the lobby where you have to be in your street clothes and dry?6. Only shade area is so far away from the pool you cannot watch your kids properly? They could drape a cover on the wall to provide additional shaded sitting area.Over all it was very clean, lifeguards were active and kids were controlled. I recommend this for our community and visitors, just get the website updated.

THIS STINKS BECAUSE THAT POOL WAS THE HANG OUT TO HAVE A NICE DIP IN THE POOL, PLEASE ALREADY OPEN

Pool is a nice facility. I don’t like to have to leave my lap swimming for 15 minutes every hour “so the lifeguards can swim”. Seems needless! Also the hours seem rather restrictive. Pool could be open longer each day.This is a great facility and needs to be kept open year round. Used to have a Winter cover. Now it closes in October.

Outdoor pools are always fun this is a good way to hang with the family

3 unfriendly ladies at the front desk. Unsupervised teens for lifeguards that are power hungry. Facilities are great! Just need nicer folks working there.

Vanlife hiker trash I may be, but the showers, although only $2, were lacking. Only 2 cold water, faucets worked in this community style shower.
