This hospital has horrible service. Don’t even think about calling upper management. They are unprofessional and don’t care. They changed their name to brookwood baptist but brookwood doesn’t treat people like this. The receptionist in the front was very rude and disrespectful. No sympathy for the sick or people in excruciating pain.

Slower than Christmas.I understand they’re busy but wow unless you’re dying then good luck. Waiting here for over five hours and no sign of getting a room soon. Hire some more staff if you’re short this is terrible healthcare service!

Ive been admitted for this and that over the years and Ive always had good experiences there. For outpatient procedures, everything has gone smoothly. I volunteered there in one of the medical units until Covid shut that down and I can tell you that the nurses and other staff work very hard to keep patients comfortable. They speak about the patients with respect and go above and beyond to make sure patients and family members are treated with courtesy.

Boyfriend came in with his sugar in the 600’s and yeah we’ve been sitting here over an hour. The dude with gout went before the guy with acetone for blood. Way to go Shelby.

My daughter was seen bc of possible appendix. No appendicitis, nothing was seen. We were told she had a ruptured ovarian cyst and to make an appointment with a gyn. We make an appointment, no ruptured cyst. Ultrasound would show fluid. Her urologist pulled her ct scan from the cloud and she was completely impacted. How does a radiologist miss that? I mean, really?? So upset they had no idea. Our urologist contacted the radiologist to inform them they missed the most simple thing.

(ER)Place is really going downhill. Seen them toss things in the floor that should go in trash. The floors and rooms are filthy, seriously. The beds chairs are discusting. And most of the staff... well some are GREAT but think others either need to be in school longer and have more empathy and social skills. Have been here before and have seen blood still on floor and sheet where room wasnt cleaned before a new patient. When I figure out how to post pics, I will post. * I am borrowing this account to post. I brought my husband in on Sunday morn Jan 7th with a temp of 103.1,and bc he didnt have ins,the only thing they done for him was test him, gave him 800mg of motrin, rx for tamiflu, and some cough syrup.and sent him home.the next day I went to my doc, and I do have ins, they gave me a steroid shot,a z- pack, tamiflu, and cough syrup.Thats the difference in having ins and no ins..now that is what I call discrimination.sad but true.
