I love the staff members. Super Amazing! I can come practically when I want which fits my hectic schedule due to they are open 24 hours again. I dig the tanning bed and massage chair. The store is very clean and the exercise equipment works to your liking. 👍

I’ve been a member for about 2yrs and before the pandemic the staff wasn’t really helpful but the recently hired employees have been a lot better. Wish they would open back up to 24/7 and provide classes or training sessions. I never got to do any and could really use some advice and instruction on what to do to get resultsUpdate: since posting this review the GM emailed me explaining in further detail the change to hrs. My club has also began offering classes like the 30 minute circuit again and the staff are much more knowledgeable. They’ve made great improvement since I first reviewed them. I would recommend them to friends and family. Today I have sent recommendations to 3 friends and plan to continue to recommend PF.Thanks PF for carrying about your members so much🙏

Staff is good at cleaning tge equipment and seem professional. I am very impressed at the quality of the tanning beds and extra equipment perks that are provided for members only. It is a small area but better facility in my eyes. Locker rooms and showers are in excellent condition and kept extremely clean. I rather go to this facility then my sign on facility any day.

Great gym AWFUL COMPANY.I BROKE MY LEG and am confined to bed rest and on a ton of heavy medications after surgery and their policy is apparently to only allow cancelations by physically going into a location WHICH I CANT DO!!!! So yeah I get to keep getting charged for a gym membership I CANT USE for the 3 MONTHS I wont be able to even walk.Good thing I didnt DIE OR ID BE CHARGED INDEFINITELY I GUESS.Once I can walk Im canceling this forever Id rather be fat. 😒

This location is above average compared with other nearby locations. The 360 area is set up well, the location has an excellent TRX set-up, extra kettlebels, medicine balls and more than enough space.

Traveling with the Planet Fitness Black Card is Awesome! I stopped by this wonderful Planet Fitness facility, and had a positive experience! The PF Staff were very helpful.👍

Its a great gym for somebody just starting that he needs to learn the place and learn about equipment and the safe way of using it that is definitely the place to start planet fitness

I have been going to this location since 2018 and the place is always clean and the staff is very friendly and the equipment is always kept clean but I am transferring to another location because of my work schedule has changed.

Really clean facility, kind employees and lots of available equipment.

The gym is clean and crew members are helpful and pleasant. Also their “Judgement Free Zone” checks out!

I really recommend this company. The price is amazing for what you get. Seriously. The things that you pay sooooo much for at other gyms are all included in the black membership. It’s like $23 I think. It’s also a really positive place. It gives off this feeling of, if you were there judging people for there body type or how much cardio they do/don’t do, that staff and members would be like, “Hey, just leave. You don’t belong here. We literally have an shame alarm to alert the rest of us when people like you start being mean.” It helps me.

Only went in for a brief visit to see what all services they provided. I was thoroughly pleased with the customer service and explanation of equipment and services. Not bad for a crowded gym and the price was great too. (I suggest the black card membership)

Very clean environment, helpful staff, great community.

Showers do not drain. You have to stand in 3 inches of water while showering. It is gross.

I’ve been to this location on occasion and prior to this hadn’t had any issues. I have a light spring jacket that I carry with me from machine to machine along with my keys and water bottle. A staff member had asked that I place it in the locker room. I found it odd but told him I would when I was done with my sets as I was actively working out when approached . He said of course . About 3-4 minutes after that , a woman came through and asked the same of me. I explained to her the above and that I was on my last set and would do so when I was complete . She said I had to do it now or I would have to leave the gym! ARE YOU SERIOUS! I have issues with this for several reasons AND this isn’t posted anywhere in the gym as a requirement to workout there . I’m furious .

A great place to work out all of the machines are continuously being cleaned by staff and the staff members are always happy to see you and greet you with a smile

The GM Kayla is rude had an interview was there on time and she was late getting things together like she didn’t have an interview at a set time and never apologized for the wait. I wouldn’t even want to go work out there just because of little things like that maters! Just very unprofessional to me! Now I see though, it’s not just one planet fitness discriminating, it’s the whole planet fitness corporation. That’s all I keep seeing on their name……

I really like my planet fitness membership. I have the black card so that I can use the gym anywhere. As a truck driver it can be a life saver.. get showers, stay fit and usually always located where a truck can fit nearby with trailer.

This location is not compatible with Tivity Fitness Your Way despite it being listed on their website, and also calling ahead of time and being told it would work. Please correct this online and educate your employees. Thank you!

Pros: decent hours, well ventilated, lots of machines, mostly friendly staff, a lot of machines given the space, all running without a mask.Cons: poor Sunday hours, panhandlers in parking lot, charged me $40 my first month (that does not equate to 10$ down, 10/mo FYI), weird equipment policy. Having to use their falling apart barbell pads during a pandemic?? GROSS!

I wish they had a machine to work out your calves on your legs. The location I use to go to in Texas had one.

The generic response that Planet Fitness leaves each under served customer further confirms the inadequate service and pathetic management reviewers have recieved. As a prospective customer I wanted to read reviews on how the members are treated and how the company responds to unfairly treated cutomers. Obviously, this is not a company I am willing to spend my hard earned money with.

For the most part decent, although people still dont wear masks much. Its kind of disappointing, as I wear one to protect others as well as myself.People, unfortunately, arent taking the health precautions necessary to protect themselves and others.

This gym has everything I need, very clean, staff in very polite. Lots of machines to use. Love the hydro massage beds, massage chairs and tanning beds. My only negative experience is the internet going down. This happens 2-3 times a month. Very inconvenient. When you go 2-3 times a week thats Almost 1/3 of the time.

Staff is always friendly and professional. Gym is kept quite clean and gym goers are polite. Excellent facility overall as long as youre not looking for free weights. Theres not a usable barbell anywhere and dumbbells max out at 65 lbs. Still, a great spot!

I like to get a morning workout in before work never busy in the morning which is great and always clean equipment

This is a wonderful facility it is both clean well staffed and has great layout.

Decent size. Mainly for cardio machines and beginners. No benches. All machine weights. Some free weights but definitely not their focus. The only gym option in that area.

Easy average persons workout . Biggest problem iscampers those who sit at workout stations and just chill out or text and do everything but exercise.

I like the new feature on the app where you can tell how crowded it is. Early AM and late evenings still seem to be the least crowded times. I wish people would be more serious about cleaning up after themselves. Wipe down the machines people it takes 2 seconds.

This is by far my favorite planet fitness i’ve been to. It’s always kept very clean in the locker rooms and the workout area.

PF is a good place to get started on exercising, but is somewhat limited. There is a very small selection of free weights. If you do mostly cardio and weight machines and need a cheap gym this can be a good option.

If you are looking to get into shape(tone)and lose a couple pounds and feel insecure with thinking that people are judging you. This is the place. If you are not interested in being sociable. Then this is a fit. If you are intimidated by the size of another persons water bottle. Then this is your spot. If The Color Purple enhances your comfort level. Then this is a must. If youre looking for a free weights, upscale equipment or dumbbells heavier than 60 lbs and the clientele who views Fitness as a lifestyle. Then save your $10! Remember you are going to get what you pay for. And you only get out as much as you put in!

Mysterious charges on my account. Came in last week no problem, this week they say I have an outstanding fee of +$100??? Front desk was very rude when i asked about what the charges were and couldnt tell me what it was for. Also denied a friend a job because the manager wanted a man on that shift 0/10 if possible

The staff very friendly machines are wiped down. Everyone has their mask on and after your workout you feel great love it....

I went to cancel my membership because I got a peloton and the girl didnt know what it was. Company makes everything difficult. Changing rooms have no space for your stuff outside a tiny stool. Not consistent to location in that some have hair dryers and nice lockers, others dont. No dry counters in bathroom!!!!!

Great place to work out clean facility good choice of weights and machines and plenty of treadmills to use. Make sure to pay extra for the massage chairs they come in handy after your workout

Open 24/7 great environment & nice people overall. Immediately felt welcome here the first day I got a membership. Wish they had actual barbells but everything else accommodating.

Equipments are new, employees are friendly. They keep the environment and equipments clean. I like to spend time at the express PF zoon. I would give 10 out of 10.

They always have a problem with something you do. I took a 2 minute phone call and they asked me to take it somewhere else. Meanwhile I can hear the entire conversation between the two employees. Right next to me. I had to come back and re-edit because the same lady who asked me take my call somewhere else. Gets on the phone right in front of me. I give her the look. She laughs and goes to the lobby. Killed me entire vibe that day. Yes she was a staff member.

This is the worst planet fitness I have ever been to. While the facility is relatively clean, the staff provides a very negative experience to their members. I can’t say every one of them but management in general practices and speaks to members very unethically. Multiple members have had issues with staff and it’s actually pretty sad. We pay and go to the gym to stay healthy and get release from life. Just being at that gym in general is more stress than anyone deserves. I tried to make my complaints to the corporate office in hopes to avoid altercation but that did not work. This company is all about money and not the moral or ethical satisfaction of their consumers. Avoid the Hawkins Plaza location of planet fitness if you can get any means. Save yourself the time and money and choose another PF location, IF ANY.P.S. The general manager at this location is the worst. If you can an issue don’t even bother bringing it to her attention, just leave and call corporate. TRUST ME

In Wooster ours was 25/7 apparently a lot of them around Akron are only 24/5. I love this one specifically because its always clean. They leave towels to wipe down and its open 25/7 thats the best.

Older machines. In a depressed neighborhood. Be prepared to fill out the same marketing form every single visit if this location is not your home gym.

There is literally a bazillion machines for you to use in here so you never have to wait. Lots of stretching machines as well great for people rehabbing a injury or just want some form of exercise. Membership is 10 bucks a month. or 40-50 if you want the black card that lets you into and Planet Fitness in the country or use their tanning and massage chairs.

Worst gym experience of my lifeTried to get in contact with the location manager, the assistant manager and even the district manager...none of my calls or emails were returned. All I wanted was to know why we were told we could use certain membership features if it wasnt allowed in the first place. Because I was told if I upgraded my guest could use other areas of the gym but it wasnt true... I never wouldve upgraded if I had been told the truth to begin with

This location is good for beginners as it isnt the biggest place. Still has most the machines and equipment you need(they lack a calf raise machine).

Can you rate a place with no stars? As an out of town guest, all Planet Fitness facilities are the same, who represents this facility is what my review is based on. Rude, unorganized and ignorant are just a few of the adjectives that come to mind. This isnt just one shift either, Ive been here several times over the last several months when Im in town and each time staff seems to get worse. I guess a 21.99 dollar fee a month gets you a 21.99 dollar experience in a low standard facility. Yay management! Good job!!!

The most ethnically balance gym I have ever been to. Extremely clean with equipment in working order.

Personnel is very friendly. Looks real clean with no sweat smell what so ever.

Customer Service is Amazing at this gym they train their employees with courtesy and respect. Every time i go in there, theres a worker there that tells to have a good workout and every time i leave they say to have a good day. I see people cleaning the equipment and mopping the floors EVERY DAY. Best of all this place is huge and open 24 hours except christmas eve. I never seen a broken piece of equipment there for longer then a week the workers always comes and fixes it immediately. The staff at this location are without a doubt the best ive seen in a long time.

I would not recommend this facility for anyone with a thread of decency. A friend of mine and long time member was mistreated recently based on their ethnic background. Their staff is racist!
