Very unhappy got a pair of glasses they have two different arms take them back they did nothing to rectify it didnt even try all I wanna do is try to sell you something and tell you something else really not very caring type folks here..... so I contacted miike after I read his review we discussed it he told me to come in and then he really did offer me a different frame so Ive course I took him up on that offer I was having anxiety about going back to his office but I just put on a smile took a deep breath and said this was gonna be positive and sure enough it was great and I want to say that he did everything he could to make me happy and thats why I change my review to give him a five star he went way more than just the extra mile and I am very appreciative of that

Let me say this in a word with only two letters. ED. A couple weeks ago I received my new glasses from my optometrist. They fitted them but I knew it wasn’t right. I returned for an adjustment and still it wasn’t right. Then I went to Ellet Eye Care. Ed met me at the door. I explained to him my issue. He took his time. He listened to me. He checked the fit of the glasses on the right. He checked the fit on the left. He checked the fit on my face. He took the glasses to a back room and worked his “magic”. He returned, gave me my glasses, I put them on and the fit was fantastic! Ed solved the issue. So when you want quality service remember that little, two letter word and ask for Ed by name!

I had an emergency after stretching my eye and I called Ellet Eyecare immediately because they were the closest eye doctor to me (2 minutes from my house), and even though Ive never been a patient there, they told me I could be seen right away. I was in so much pain and could not be more appreciative of Dr. Cozzi for squeezing me in and treating my scratched cornea. I left with no pain. Ive decided that I will now go to Ellet Eyecare for my and my familys routine eye exams from now on, it was a fantastic experience, begining with the ladies at the front desk! Highly recommend!

Our first time there was very positive and everyone was so nice and helpful. I also appreciated how they treated my 96 year old mother who need 3 glasses adjusted even though she didnt purchase them there. It only took less than a half hour. We will go back for all our eye care needs.

I guesse by the comments everyone isnt getting the terrible service I got. There in a big hurry to get paid but then I wait for ur glasses forever they told me the wait on glasses was up to a month.. well its been a month and still no glasses now there saying it could be 2 more weeks. This place is rediculous and I notice wallet eye are only responds to the positive messages and they ignore all the negative comments not trying to fix anyones negative experience. Just know if I go here u better pay up front but once they get ur money u might wait up to 2 months for glasses. They could care less that I need them for driving to work and to see the computer screens at work. I would never send anyone here.

Absolutely terrible. From the second I walked in the door, completely unorganized. Then the Dr..... Basically pays no attention to issues Im having with eyes and says do self care ( Warm rag on eye) come back in 2 weeks. So pretty much snag $100 out of your pocket and kick you out the door. Went to another Eye Dr 2 days later and wouldnt ya know i have 2 different prescriptions for the issues with eye. And a appointment with a specialist. Elley Eye Care is a joke.

These guys are great. My first appointment the optometrist was so patient and understanding. I had my newborn daughter with me since her dad was working and couldn’t watch her. She was crying and I was trying my best to soothe her and he talked right through it. I just got contacts a few days ago and ripped one and the front desk ladies ordered me another trial pair no questions asked. They’re amazing!

I love this place. Everyone is so friendly and the doctor explains things thoroughly but easy to understand. They always make sure all your questions are answered. Ive been going here for years and I dont plan on going anywhere else anytime soon!

Super friendly staff and professional. They definitely follow safety protocols for COVID which makes me feel better to say the least. Eye exam and selecting frames was quick and thorough. Only took 2 weeks to get my glasses not the 4-5 weeks they mentioned. Great prices and they take Medicaid CareSource! Definitely a great place to go and they gave my fiancé and I each free case with a cloth and a package with cleaner and a cloth. Love this place!

I have to say I dont usually write reviews but this is different, I recently needed glasses and needed a pair of motorcycle prescription riding glasses, I had gone to another place that you get 2 pair cheap and was not satisfied. I went to ellet eye care and Mike and his staff were awesome, the doctor explained everything to me and Mike and his team helped me make the right decision. anybody looking for prescription riding glasses dont hesitate, you will not regret it ! Im very suprised by all these reviews and comments about the staff. They were very rude to us and gave us attitudes for no reason. We were quiet, patient, and polite (especially in comparison to the other clients there). Maybe we caught them on an off day or something? Would have been nice to see some of the politeness everyone was talking about. Not coming here again.

Place is grate very attentive to patients. They make you comfortable as can be got me in and out with the frames of my choice. This place is doing a Bad Thing by taking advantage of the community by scamming them and charging them first to make sure you got no problem and also charging Buckeye when Buckeye covers the whole bill they try to get you to pay for the bill first if you dont they dont charge Buckeye until you pay for the bill that way they know you think that thats how it is supposed to be and they think theyre slick about it taking advantage of people at this time of the pandemic these people are horrible real bad to do that to people that cannot afford hardly anything to begin with

I was in town visiting my family in Akron and I broke my glasses. I called and spoke with Mike and he worked with my eye doctor in Fort Wayne, IN to get my prescription and was able to give me trial contacts so I could see to drive home.Mike did this to help me see to drive and didn’t charge me for the contacts, cleaning solution, or the cases he gave me. He was super kind and knowledgeable. I would recommend going to see Mike at Ellet Eye Care on Canton Rd.Thanks Mike, I really appreciate all of your assistance and I made it home!

You never know where life will take you, my life has taken my family to Ohio Medicaid Insurance otherwise known as Buckeye Community Health. I have found with this insurance that most of our regular doctors will “Grandfather” us in and help us through these tough times while others will not. It’s like a fall from grace, the majority of accepting doctors’ offices look down on you and treat you inhumanly. They remind me of war time military field clinics, overloaded, understaffed, impersonalized and only getting a fraction of the care you need. Maybe you have served your country, maybe you have multiple degrees, maybe, just maybe you’re not abusing the system, these facilities know nothing about anybody that walks through their doors yet most of them still treat you like dirt.Now, let’s talk about Ellet Eye Care, I was highly impressed by the intelligent and courteous lady who answered the phone and provided me with answers to all my questions. Even after I told her what type of insurance I had her tone didn’t change a bit, she went into sales mode letting me know why their business is better than the rest and how they can serve my family better. Right away I knew I was dealing with a doctors office that didn’t’ discriminate against Medicaid patients.When I arrived, the staff was very busy but at the same time most courteous and helpful, they made me feel welcomed to their business. They offer more services and upgrades then other vision centers and offer very affordable pricing. When it was time to see the doctor, I was pleasantly surprised as the Doctor was very knowledgeable, caring to my concerns and needs, helpful and pleasant to speak with. I highly recommend Ellet Eye Care; you will be treated with kindness, dignity and get the best eye care available in N.E. Ohio.

I had never used my vision inscurance before but I informed them of my employer and inscurance. I asked point blank if they were in network and was given the shuffel. It wasnt until I was done that I realized they were charging me for things I knew were covered. When confronted, they apologized and said they didnt know. I feel like I was tricked and taken advantage of. Also when I asked for a copy of my papers the woman who showed me glasses had a melt down and started saying no..no and gathering up all the paperwork. Shady. I did get my papers, but I will not return. I would give zero if I could.

I visited Ellet Eye Care and was blown away. The man and women at the front desk were so friendly, knowledgeable and made me feel right at home. They were helpful with picking out frames, figuring out the paperwork and were patient with me even when I showed up late to my appointment. They offered me and the other customers bottles of water, which was so kind of them. They really went out of their way to make sure that not only me, but the other customers were well taken care. I would 10/10 recommend this eye clinic to anyone.

They are so nice here and they explain things in more depth than any eye care place I’ve been. I was seen by a couple different people, which usually bugs me, but they were all so consistently nice, knowledgeable and helpful that I didn’t mind at all! Highly recommend!

I was amazed by how kind everyone from this office is. This is my 3rd eye care facility that I have been through and The first two were not horrible but just lacked person care. I had no idea how much I was missing out until my first few visits here. I feel at home here. The whole group really makes you feel important and will take the time to really make certain you feel comfortable and happy. I really cant say enough about their kindness and professionalism.

Ellet eye care is an amazing place with amazing people. From the doctor down to the receptionists. They all treat you with care and educate you during your exam as well as when you pick up your glasses. I wish I discovered them years ago but better late than never.

As far as all the eye care places I have been, this place is the best I have ever been to. I was able to get my new glasses in less time that I could ever expect and the people there are very nice and extremely helpful. I would suggest folks around here and even further out for new glasses or contacts.

Everyone was helpful, and it did not take long at all for the doctor to find the right prescription for me. My glasses were inexpensive and ready for pick up in less than two weeks. When I need another pair I will definitely go back here.

I needed a new eye doctor being in a new city for the next couple of years, so I decided to go here because of the nice reviews online. The paperwork was really quick for a new patient. They said I could go look at frames while waiting for the eye doctor. I was thrown off by the frames not having prices on them because my old eye doctors used to, and I did not want to waste time trying out frames I could not afford. The eye doctor came quick and was super nice and caring about my eye health. After the exam I told the front desk people I was overwhelmed about the frames, and another eye doctor Mike came out and did a full consultation with me and picked out numerous frames my insurance accepted and even went into the back twice to show me options that were not on the floor. Staff gave me their opinion on which frames to get which was nice cause usually I take a family member with me but being in a new city I was alone. Even though I was apprehensive at first I am super happy I went here and I am excited to have a new eye doctors. Will edit with a photo of my glasses once I get them
