Ive had an excellent experience every time Ive taken my children to Locust Peds. Our pediatrician, Dr. Joel Davidson, has been thorough, compassionate, and efficient. Weve even run into him at a baseball game and he was a warm, friendly adult for my kids to look up to then. I also appreciate that they are a teaching practice with residents and medical students involved in the visits. I like that they make a real effort to welcome non-English speaking patients and help meet non-medical needs as well (like a bin for free clothing and giving away free kids books). Their parent education signs and materials are helpful.. They have accommodated us when weve been a few minutes late. The office does tend to run behind schedule, so expect to wait - but it has been worth it to us for years.

I will not reschedule with this facility. My step children have been coming here for years, and their father felt better bringing our kids here bc of this, even though we live in Canton.. We finally got the paperwork through to allow me to take them to their appointments. We had a follow up and allergy test scheduled for our 11 yr. daughter.. After packing up my teething, cranky 7 m. old, i finally made my way here admist the construction and one ways at our SCHEDULED APPT TIME. However when I arrived I was told I missed my appt by over a hour and the Dr was booked and we could not be seen . I explained that my paper said it was at 1.40. The receptionist then condiscendingly asked me if I had the paper with the time on it bc the Dr doesnt typically write down appt times.. ( Her father wrote it down at their last appt..) Frustrated and confused I packed up and returned home only to be greeted by a confirmation text from your facility FOR THE TIME I HAD ARRIVED.. I am a NEW mom with three children and a full time job running my home.. I do not have time to go to a facility that messes up my appt times and then makes me feel at fault instead of correcting their error. Booh
