Amazing hospitality. Dr Patel and staff are amazing. I’ve been there a handful of times for beard hair loss and they have taken care of me every time. They’ve show empathy and a smile, I will always go back here for my dermatology needs.

So far so good! Dr. Patel was very nice and understanding of my issues. I am hoping my next checkup will be even better. The nurse was also very kind and helpful. She took the time to stay afterwards and explain some things.

Dr. Mostow is the best!! He is always so fun and chill and makes the environment very comfortable and relaxed. He always asks me lots of questions and makes great conversation. Not only is he a nice man, but also amazing at what he does. I had to have a mole removed two different times and was absolutely terrified of the process. I did not feel a thing! My dad is a PA and said Dr. Mostow is highly recommended!! On top of that, the sweet nurse or assistant Krista held my hand the whole time. She was a babe and so cute and even went out of her way to say hi to me the next time I was in there. Sue was with me this time and she was very nice as well. We talked about her shoes and all the ladies in there are always talkative and welcoming! Very happy I was recommended here.

I have been utilizing the services of Dr Eliot Mostow during the past 15 years. He and this organization are easy to schedule and work with, they take what I would call a personal interest, and most important, we have noted a few issues, which after biopsy, required surgery. While I follow advice in attempting to take good care of myself, I have been around warmer weather and the sun for almost the entire year, since retiring 11+ years ago--thanks to Akron Dermatology, I have a sound safety net.

Dr and office staff were very helpful and nice. My sister took my daughter to the office for her appointment and I was able to FaceTime in while at work. My daughter received treatment immediately for her problem and we are now awaiting the results. Great experience!

I had basil cell cancer Moes surgery on my left cheek. It took 4 passes to get all of the cancer. It was painless during the surgery & during my recovery. The staff made me very comfortable during the entire process.

As a Registered Nurse, I am extremely picky with which doctors I choose. I have been going to Dr. Mostow’s office for years. He is literally the smartest and most amazing Dr. The staff is awesome, Gabby his PA is great too! The office is very clean. I never wait in this office more than a few minutes. They also are super accommodating to get you in quickly if you need to be seen for something right away. If you are seeing a skin EXPERT I believe this is the place for you.

Dr. Mostow and Akron Dermatology were great. Fast, friendly, reliable and informative.I had a medical issue that required immediate help, and instead of going to the Emergency Room I called Akron Dermatology and explained my situation. Even though I was a new patient, and Covid restrictions were in place - Dr. Mostow was able to fit me in the schedule within AN HOUR to examine and help me with my issue - before my own Primary Care Physician even called me back.His prompt service saved me quite a bit of money - not having to make a trip to the ER and a $200 copay. I am grateful that I found Akron Dermatology. If anyone ever needs a dermatologist I will surely recommend Dr. Mostow.

Outstanding doctor! Dr. Mostow is not only knowledgeable, thorough and smart; he is kind and caring. He treats his patients as human beings. In my personal case, he was completely responsible for getting the correct diagnosis for my condition; this after having been seen by numerous other doctors who rushed to the wrong conclusion without taking the time to properly evaluate my symptoms. All doctors should be like him.

Ive been a patient with Dr. Mostow for the better part of 10 years now. He is truly one of the finest dermatologists I have ever encountered. His wealth of expertise in all skin-related matters, informed by 30 years of practice, is very reassuring. This is definitely a patient-first practice. Dr. Mostow and his caring team are dedicated to making patients feel welcome, well-informed and at ease. He truly cares about his patients well-being on all fronts. The fact that so many of his patients have been seeing him for years speaks volumes.

Dr. Mostow has always taken wonderful care of me, and found a skin cancer Bowens disease, which no other Dr. could find. He also has found squamous cell and his partner removed that with moes cut down. all margins clean. I love them all ,and the billing queen is also wonderful.

Unbelievable I went there and a biopsy and about a week and a half later or about a week I called to get my results they finally put me through to the nurse and after being on hold for 10 minutes she finally tells me that my doctor would call me with my me thinking this must be really bad then waiting on my doctor to call me back I received a call from another nurse and she precedes to tell me that my results will not be available for 14 days and then she tells me my doctor was a woman by the name of Randy Thor however I know my doctors name Ive seen her before and she saw me the last time her name is Julie Marks I know her so the nurse and I wanted to argue about it but I know who my doctor isshe didnt cause me third time and getting my results finally after saying they wouldnt be available for 14 days I know my doctor is Lady I would never go there they are confused probably get patients charts wrong wouldnt take your dying animal bear your best off to treat yourselfDenver other things that she could have told me to be helpful I just googled my symptoms I know what to do now and for the nurse Brie or Nikki go to hell

Dear African American families of Akron. This place does not deserve to be spat on.They are racist, biased and unwelcoming to our folk. Do not go here. Do not even try whether you have the best, or not so total package insurance. It seems the women at the office have problems with culture tolerance and are in desperate need of some diversity training. Please find your next dermatologist. somewhere else. They are horrible people. Id give it zero stars, but I had to pick at least one.

Even though I had a history of two skin melanoma, this office missed the third one. I had to point it out to them. The biopsy and aftercare was terrible. I am left with a big scar. I do not recommend this doctor and his office.

I went for juvaderm fillers. Ended up with a silloet lift that was very expensive. Didn’t address the problems that I went for. WOULD not recommend

They are more concerned with the number of patients than the care of the patients.

Zero stars actually. Got reprimanded by the Dr for having a sunburn on my face. Had he actually looked at my chart he had in his hand he would have remembered I had rosacea, a condition I had been seeing him for for years. Also havent been there in over a year and never received any bills or calls from them and now Im in collections for a bill I didnt know existed . Go elsewhere!

About a month ago I had a pyogenic granuloma on my face that burst (I was 32 weeks pregnant at the time) and not only was the receptionist wonderful and calming - she got me in right away due to the nature of the bleeding! I had never been here before (my dermatologist in high school had retired several years ago) and I was pleasantly surprised at how attentive everyone in this office was. Dr. Mostow was even attentive and extremely informative and pleasant and he took care of my granuloma right away. It is very rare to have doctors take the time to explain and answer questions for you. I will absolutely be recommending this office to friends and family! Thank you Akron Dermatology!!!!
