Yvette has been excellent with my child. They feel better after sessions with her and over the past few years has helped her get through some challenging moments and changes.
(Using an anonymous account because I’d rather not share who I am) I do not recommend Yvette for therapy. I did not have a good experience with her at all. She spend most of the sessions talking about herself; you’re lucky if you can get a word in edgewise. She forgets important things you’ve told her from week to week, numerous times. Yvette also clearly has no understanding of trauma. She didn’t take my self harm seriously and assigned “homework” surrounding triggering things despite my concerns of not feeling safe exploring them outside of session.
Yvette is very easy to talk to. She has helped me immensely in the past couple months and I’m grateful I’ve had her in my life. She’s very real and I feel like many therapists aren’t I would recommend her to anyone facing depression, anxiety, and/or trauma.
