WHAT A JOKE! Dismissive and not willing to try and figure out whats ailing his patients or fight for his patients. ONLY GO HERE IF YOU ARE ELDERLY AND POSITIVE YOU HAVE RA. If you are young and not sure whats going on, you are out of his medical comfort zone. Waste of time and money. Especially after I was so exhausted from not knowing whats going on with my body after the 5th visit with Dr. Martinez and I was told I was actually creating my illness because I was too distressed. Well yeah, after 5 visits and zero answers ANYONE would be distressed. He at one point laughed at me and said I didnt have Lupus. I shouldve just gone to the ER from the beginning. Im happy to report within a day I knew what was ailing me (yes its LUPUS) and had been given an appropriate treatment plan. THIS PRACTICE SHOULD BE CLOSED. DISGUSTING.

Tina at the front desk was quick and friendly. Dr. Martinez was very personable, honest, and helpful. If you need a rheumatologist, go to Dr. Martinez.

Aikens Finest Rheumatologist? That has to be a joke. Couldnt help my wife. I had to go in with her to her appointments because she was telling me how rude and dissimissive he was. I went with her and she was right. We switched Rheumatologists immediately. I dont recommend him to anyone for any reason.

Great Experience. Dr Martinez has great bedside manor which is rare. His NP Andrea is thorough, informative and very responsive. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

Will always be my doctor, he is not only funny but he genuinely cares about his patients. I recommend him to friends and family, and he also takes great care of my mother as well. 10/10

Wouldnt recommended if last Doctor on earth. Unprofessional, tries to hurry you out of appointment, doesnt try to get to the bottom of anything. Just orders labs. Rude bedside manner.

I was honestly really skeptical about going to this office because of all the reviews here. . . I decided to give this doctor a try. I am so glad I did because I really did have the best experience. I didn’t have to wait in the lobby at all, and I only waited in the room for 15 minutes before the doctor came in. He was very patient and attentive to all the issues I’ve been having. He answered all of my questioned thoroughly and assured me that I was in the right place and he’d take care of me. I can’t wait to go back to finally get the answers I’ve been looking for for over two years.

Anticardiolipin high from lab and he argues with me and said no I didnt have that particular result. Ummmm, its in black and white. Acts like hes never seen me before each time I go in. Says I have certain diagnosis, than says not, then says he doesnt know. Ridiculous

Ive been seeing Dr. Martinez de Andino for years and he is one of the most professional and knowledgeable doctors Ive seen. He genuinely cares about his patients and asks all the right questions. I recommend anyone see him. 👍

Dr. Martinez de Andino is an excellent physician and knows autoimmune expertly. I highly recommend him as a physician and he has been taking care of my arthritis and autoimmune issues for 6 years now. He has always helped me through my flare ups and is very knowledgeable. His staff are top notch! Very friendly and helpful everytime I am in the office or have to call for anything.

I wish I could give zero stars. Went to this Dr and hoping for help and when I say this Dr is the worst that’s just what he is and that’s bein polite. Went to my appt and he asked what brings me here on that day, he ordered labs and to go over them. He asked who ordered labs ummmm he did 🤦🏽 I am having other issues he telling me to go to this Dr and that Dr like really no kindness of what I’m going through. What ever happened to the great Drs. I’ve been a medical field for 20 years and these Drs just want money and not concern of patients and it’s sad. I rode an hour and some and it was a waste of time and energy. I wish God will change his heart and show him how to be professional and show some kindness.

I have had the pleasure of knowing him personally and professionally for 20+ years and he has always been right there for me. I have had several critical problems in the past and he has always been very compassionate and caring. Can call him anytime for any questions or reassurance. Some treatments have not gone so well but he has always been there to straighten things out. He is very knowledgeable in his field of care and has taught me a lot about my situation. Easy to talk to about anything I need to know concerning my health needs. The office staff (Tina) is very courteous and knowledgeable as well. Aiken is blessed to have him in the community.

Nobody answers the phone at this office. Answering machine says “multiple messages are not necessary” but you don’t call people back anyways, so...

Dr. Martinez de Andino is awsome! He is the smartest doctor I know. I can explain an issue and he always has an answer. Sometimes it is after MRI or an xray but, when he has shared a possibility it has always been dead on. I know one time when I was having severe knee pain he told me to ride a bike. My thought was REALLY ... I can barely walk. I borrowed a stationary bike and it worked wonders. Amazingly, i had my life back! I am NOT saying that would help anyone else for knee pain. What I am saying, you may not like an answer from any doctor, but, at least try what is recomended.My Mom had fallen at a nursing home in North Augusta and took my Mom to two doctors. One so much as told me she was faking. I knew she wasnt. I took her to Dr. Martinez de Andino and he had her get an xray and she had a fractured tail bone.The office staff is top notch! It is a busy office it may take them a minute or two occasionally but the end result is always 100%. Well worthy of any wait time. I have had much longer waits in other offices.I cant say enough about what a great office this is!

I have been coming Dr. Martinez De Andino for over twenty plus years. When I first was referred to him, I had given up completely. I can honestly say he saved my life. I was diagnose with RA in 1989, by a doctor in Columbia, SC Nothing he put me on did me any good.Finally I gave up, and almost went down completely....My first visit with Dr Martinez De Andino I began to feel like my old self again..I have never missed an appointment in 20 plus years. I have a good relationship with his staff and him.....I pray that he never leaves Aiken, because Ill go down like the Titanic. I dont like dealing with new doctor.....Nettie Williams

Yes he does come on strong,but I really liked him,I have been misdiagnosed for over 15 years! This man with no records or blood work knew exactly what I had ,and was very kind and compassionate,if you want a good doctor? He is your man! And as for ordering tests,how is he supposed to know who or what he is dealing with,with no facts,I recommend Dr Edwin Martinez DeAndino ,Best Dr !!!

Dr. Martinez De Andino and his staff are excellent. Dr. Martinez De Andino is very attentive to my needs as a patient, he took the extra time to answer my questions and calm my concerns, I had to wait a little extra time in the waiting room but if this is the service I get out of it, I dont mind one bit!!

I agree 100% with the person above me. Treatment is poor long drive 3 months no results absolutely terrible still in pain I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR!!! No communication to any doctor at all and everything that the prior person said is 100% correct! Find someone else.you may find that because he doesnt have a waiting list for patients theres a reason. I give zero stars. So glad I have other caring doctors that found me someone better.

I have been going to Dr. Martinez de Andino for almost 14 years now. He diagnosed me with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and started a treatment plan immediately. There is no cure for RA but it can be managed with medications. Dr. Martinez de Andino and his staff have always been there for me and my husband. He is very direct and confident because he knows what he is talking about. He will always tell you the truth whether you want to hear it or not, thank goodness. He is committed to helping people and that is what he does. He has made my life better, much better than it was 14 years ago when I first entered his office. I am so blessed and grateful to have him as my rheumatologist and I consider him and his staff as extended family.

Never been anywhere that the staff and Dr are so rude and unprofessional. You sit there for at least 2 hours every single time you go. They NEVER return phone calls you have to go to the office in person to schedule or reschedule appointments. Dr is a complete jerk

I was referred to this Dr. in hopes of getting some facts on why was i ANA positive and suffer from chronic pain and boy was i disappointed after driving for over an hour to this office only to be rudely greeted by the front desk lady but i still remained positive and still stayed to see the Dr. after briefly meeting him i quickly found out after driving all this way in the hard pouring rain he had no sympathy for the pain and bad mental state that i was in and had made no attempts to get any of my medical records from any or my Doctors or Specialty .So He really didnt do anything but grill me until i was covered in tears and ended up leaving in disbelief. So even after this appt. he set up another ONE for a month later where he assured me and my daughter that he would reach out to get all my medical records which was great. So i drove back down a month later emotional and in alot of pain to the point where it was unbareable for me to drive but i went back anyway hoping to get better results .After sitting in the room for almost and hour he finally comes in and right away started saying how he had no medical records still and asked me if i brought them i was already at my mental breaking point and this sent me over the edge he looked at me like i was crazy and hadnt made any attemps still to get any records i am now standing up and telling him i just wanted to kill myself ,this man never even said one word he allowed me to just walk out of his office without saying no dont leave can i do anything to help you from feeling this way? Neither did he saY would you like for me to call someone for you or call 911. He seriously and honestly did nothing and both trips were a waste so think before you see this Dr. because its obvious he is in this for the money ,yes i was still charged for a service that was not even rendered.
