I am new to Aiken and wanted to see someone locally.I’ve called a couple of different times for an appointment.( number retrieved from Website and Google)Phone rings, then answers and disconnects. Tried again a few days later, just rings.Oh well.

Dr Fitch was very rude and not professional in the way she spoke to me. She came in the room and before introducing herself or saying hi she demanded I put a mask on and said “put your mask on right now.” I said I don’t have one and I wasn’t told to wear one in the waiting room the entire 20 minutes I was there. She proceeded to be rude and tell me it was mandatory by law and have an attitude about it instead of just nicely asking. It was the way she approached the situation which will make me not be returning. She also did not even take the time to speak to my daughter who was being seen she diagnosed her before even sitting down and spent a total of one minute in there. I would also like to add two ladies at the front inside the cubical front desk area were not wearing masks so I recommend she takes a look at her own office and their professionalism before speaking to others on what they should do.

Very odd experience. You initially walk in and are met with very unprofessional signs taped to the wall that order you to be on time. But they then keep me waiting in a cold examining room in my underwear for 15 minutes. Since my first skin cancer 15 years ago I have had regular yearly mole checks. Its a fairly straightforward procedure were typically a PA will look at just about every inch of your skin. Simple as that. At Aiken Dermatology they asked me whether I wanted a full body check or just from the waist up. Who the heck checks their skin for skin cancer only from the waist up? I asked for the entire body and then the PA who did the exam said that I might want to get a full body check. Which I guess would include him looking inside my underwear . This is ridiculous. 3 different levels a skin cancer check, each more expensive than the other. Absolutely ridiculous. Just look at the damn body for skin cancer! I wont be back.

If you can get past the rude phone girl with a lot of insurance info. or wave money at them which I offered, (I didnt have the medical cards) youll might get a appointment!!>Even if you been there before. I went there once seen Finch, wont return she gave me a wrong diagosis. My husband seen Stephen Rosier he liked him said he took care of all rashes/poison ivy.Youll probably have better luck looking in Augusta, Evans GA.or Charleston.

There are a lot of negative reviews but I had a really good experience. The doctor was very understanding and knowledgeable and the staff was all very pleasant.
