Went to this emergency room location since I had ACDF surgery done here three weeks ago.I walked in around 6pm and was greeted with the upmost respect and courtesy in a timely matter.it was almost shift change when I went in and everyone was so nice and kind and they let me know I would be taken care of when they left.so with the next shift on duty my nurse was just as kind and courteous as the others.however one individual stood out and his name is Victor, and he went above and beyond to help me get my CT scans reviewed so I could go home.I never would say I had a pleasant visit at an ER but I did at this one.Just want to thank everyone including the Doctor and the on call X-ray technician!! Great job to everyone this evening!!! Also want to thank the neurosurgeon on call,Dr.Barnett for calling my wife back to give us his advice and our options since I wasn’t feeling well..

Do not come here if you don’t want to be stuck with 2k bill and hours of conversations on the phone trying to figure out how the came up with this ridiculous bill for the temperature check

I went for an X-Ray and during registration asked a direct question as to how much will this service cost? I was not given a number and was told they will contact my insurance and let me know. Later they send me a bill for $420 for a service that only cost $50 - $75 in by other vendors. I called them and challenged their charges. Asked to speak to a manager and waited a month and did not hear from anyone. Several calls later I finally contacted a manager only to find out that they will not match the cost of other vendors. I do understand that businesses charge different prices. What Methodist FAILED to let me know what the actual cost of the service! This is a rip off method by staying ambiguous and not simply disclosing their charges. Only to provide the service first and put the patient in a position to pay 8 times normal cost.I am very disappointed with this hospital, as I paid them over 100,000 for a back surgery last year only for them to treat me and other this tricky and unjust way.
