Ive been coming here to get my eyebrows threaded for a few months and have never had an issue.  However, today I went in and nobody was at the front,  when an employee finally came out she ignored me and was on her phone. The owner came and did my eyebrows and she seemed to be busy and rushed through my eyebrows like never before! She was rough with my hand placement too, she yanked my elbow back so I can hold correctly. Once she finished, I checked my eyebrows and i thought they looked decent or at least what I could see with the poor lighting in there. Once I got to my car, I realized I still had sparse hairs everywhere. I decided not to go back in to get them fixed because I didnt want to be disappointed again. I wont be returning and I will definitely tell my family to stop going as well. :/

This was my first time in karizma salon and Gul did a great job with haircut, she is very knowledgeable and very nice to talk to. I would definitely recommend Gul..

A lot of hidden fee. Beware Goupon user. I purchased keratin treatment and haircut. This is a terrible experience. Couple stylists keep whispering in their language then said goupon and keep look at the treatment bowl. They barely use the treatment on my hair. Charged $80 extra. $50 is for long hair treatment(my hair length 4 in from shoulder + $30 haircut! the goupon sale is for short hair. After a day my hair😭shit

Nabia was my hairstylist and she is amazing!! She made me feel so comfortable and respected what I wanted to do to my hair! It is so hard to find a stylist like that! She gave me some amazing ideas how to make my hair healthy and beautiful again! I love Karizma Salon! And the staff is so friendly and clean. See you girls back soon ❤️

Absolutely amazing experience. I am new to the Dallas area and have fine, curly hair. I had a keratin treatment and haircut done here by the incredible Ms. Francis. The results were beautiful and I will only be coming back to THIS salon.

I am giving this one star review because first of all I called to see if they were accepting any appointments and the lady on the phone was very rude. Second I went to visit the salon,it was impecable and clean but on the other hand the lady who attended me was extremely impolite to the point where I chose not to cut my hair there and take my business elsewhere. I just want to let Lili know to never judge a book by it’s cover.

Eli did an amazing job with my haircut! I had long hair and wanted a short chic cut and she did exactly that. The place is super clean! Definitely will be back to try their other services

(I wish I could give 0 star) It all seemed fine at first until my hair dresser started the small talks and asked me where I was from, I told her I am Asian, the service seem to be rushed after that and I was the only customer in the salon. It all took less than an hour and I thought it was because she was so professional and knew what she was doing. When I got home and washed out all the curls and saw what she did was not what I asked for, what I asked for was long layers and I wanted it in a V shape in the back. It was cut straight across and very uneven. It was a groupon purchase and I guess you get what you pay for. All together, with tips and all the add on, I spent $60. I don’t even think she put conditioner in my hair because she couldn’t get the tangles out but I did it just fine at home. I had picked this place because of all the great reviews it had. I thought I’d share my experience. I took pictures of it but don’t know how to show it on here :/

WOULD HAVE GIVEN A HALF STAR IF IT WAS POSSIBLE. Booked an appointment for haircut and asked them very clearly about the charges on call and if they accept groupon or not. They said yes they do, and haircut is $20, no extra charges. I entered and they got me ready for it and soon as the lady was about to start the haircut they started saying, my hair length is long (is it medium) so its $20 extra and then on the top my hair texture is thick, etc etc. So basically I have to pay extra.Tried to talk to them that they never mentioned that on call, the owner was so rude to respond. I left the salon right away!Poor communication and misleading service.

I love the place ! It was very clean , stylish and comfortable! My experience with the stylist Christa ... she did everything i ask of her. She made sure i was comfortable and my hair was how i wanted it! Neatly done and done right.I will be visiting again real soon.

Haircut is alright, but customer service is worse than horrible! The manager has terrible manners!You paid through Groupon for haircut, conditioning treatment and style and they have no problem to say if we do the style we charge more! It says in fine prints! No it doesnt! For them hair drying is that style you paid with groupon!Dont waste your time, money and energy!!!!Message for manager: please, do not even bother to reply! Youve fed me with your nonsense more than enough!

Hair Stylist Yasmin understood what type of haircut I wanted and did exactly the same. She was too good and very professional. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a good haircut.

During service on way to chair the mat under styling chair slid turned a 180° with me on it. Have a horrible bruised on right side behind, witcs except not appropriate. Then they still had the audacity to charge $10 extra for mine & $15 extra from my 78 year old mother,(her hair went to 2 past shoulders & not much hair 🤔being 78). Also still hasnt called me with insurance information. WOW!!! will try to upload dash cam footage of the fall. Blessed day 🙏... CLnChico2

Best threading in town! Yasmin was wonderful, she cleaned up my lip, brow and bikini with a steady hand. Highly recommend for waxing and threading. Thank you KARIZMA! :)

This was my first time visiting for wax service and it was not pleasant. Very painful since the use strips instead of hard wax. The person didnt apply pressure to relieve the pain after each strip. I was still sticky after and results werent 100%. The person was however very nice & patient, but i wouldnt recommend the wax service despite what other reviews say & Ive been getting waxing for well over 6 years.

The staff truly want what is best for you and your certain hair types. They know they stuff!I used to go to 2 different salons (one who cuts my hair and one who colors) however i have found my place for all hair treatments. Highly recommended!

Ive been coming here for a couple years and have had several stylists do my Brazilian Blowout and keratin treatments. All have been great at it!

The stylists are professional, friendly, and talented. The Salon is modern, clean and comfortable. Always great experiences, especially cut & color.

I always feel well taken care here at Karizma there is special attention to every detail. The way I walk out of this salon is feeling priceless after my Brazilian blowout.

I had purchased a cut and style for this salon through Groupon. Upon arrival, I was told that it would be an additional $15 due to the length of my hair (which I later noticed through their website that it stated $10 additional charge base on length and density, not $15). I wasnt too happy about that but I get it, my hair was super long. But today I styled my own hair the way I like and noticed that it is very uneven. Im afraid to go back for them to fix it because Im sure theyll just charge me extra. Im quite unsatisfied with the overall outcome. Go at your own risk, people.

I wish I could leave no stars truthfully. I went in wanting just a trim and left with a soccer mom bob cut. I ended up going to another place and getting it fixed. My stylist didn’t speak fluent English and couldn’t understand what I needed. This was evident even though I brought 5-6 photos for reference.The receptionist washed my hair since my stylist (who used scolding water on me initially) had to deal with some walk ins even though I had an appointment.The owner was loudly complaining about how much of a bad day she was having in the middle of the salon.My stylist didn’t speak to me the entire time, I’m assuming because of the language barrier, but it felt uncomfortable.The stylist I had kept burning me with the blow dryer to the point of me just telling her to stop. I left the salon in tears. It was a truly horrendous and uncomfortable experience.I bought the Groupon for this place because I wanted to treat myself. Maybe I got terrible service because I got the Groupon.Either way, watch out. This place is atrocious.

This salon smelled like heaven. The owner was quite nice and welcoming. I visited for facial threading and received good service. It was a bit pricey compared to what I have paid at other locations though.

Eli was my stylist and she was very professional. The deep conditioning treatment put me to sleep lol, SO relaxing. She did a fabulous job on my hair. I love it!!

I would never go back, the waxing hurt. I didn’t get the cut I wanted, and I had to pay and extra 25 dollars because my hair was longer than shoulder length, I have never be charged more for a haircut because I have long hair. Listen to your customers when they try to give you feed back. Rude.

Ms. Kim hooked me up. She gave me the exact bob haircut I was looking for. She explained every thing in detail, and is very knowledgeable about healthy hair care. She is such a sweetheart and loves to take good care of her clients. Watch out now, she has the ability of spoiling you 🤗!! Best time to see her is during the week specifically Tuesdays and Thursdays because she is extremely busy on the weekend. I’m just in love with my hair. Thank you so much love!! They are AMAZING at Karizma Salon! So friendly, so talented and skilled, and great prices for the highest quality of hair styling, coloring, extensions, everything! I will always go to Karizma for all of my hair care. And, it is so ironic how I found out about them. I asked a beautiful lady with a beautiful haircut and styling where she got HER hair cut and styled because I absolutely loved what they did to HER hair. Come to find out, she got her hair down at Karizma Salon! And, not only that, she just HAPPENED to be the Owner! She was so nice and so welcoming and they saved me from a previously awful job that was done at a totally different company by someone who completely did not know how to do a basic trim on females’ hair. Iam extremelydisappointed with this place and would not recommend this place to anyone. The staff is extremely unprofessional. I had scheduled my appointment for Friday and someone over the phone at the front desk scheduled it for Saturday inspite of me confirming twice over the phone and then when I go there they refuse to take me as a customer saying they dont have enough staff. All they had to say was you can call Groupon and get a refund for your voucher. It seemed like the staff was not even bothered about their customers.

I went to get my hair done here today and I really done recommended anyone to go my hair is all uneven!! Save yourself so time.

Consistently great service from Karizma! Owner insists on providing a clean and safe environment. This is not new due to COVID, although the already super clean/sanitized environment is possibly even more so now. Staff wears masks and has even found a great work around to be able to offer threading services while fully wearing their masks! Pre COVID, beverages were always offered. They won’t hear of you putting your bag on the floor and provide small side tables for all of your personal stuff. Everyone is extremely hospitable and friendly. They also play great music. The environment is fun, relaxed and calmly festive. They provide services for both men and women, including eyelash curling and eyebrow tinting. No complaints about this establishment. Always keep their appointments (even call you to confirm) and don’t leave you waiting for long. I especially appreciate their focus on maintaining and developing the health of your hair. They are very selective about products (especially color). My hair has improved significantly since coming here well over one year ago thanks to Nabia and her team.

Awesome! Since moving from Plano to Uptown it was getting increasingly a hassle to drive to my long time hair dresser I loved in North Frisco. I found Karizma via Groupon (although called them directly and got the same rate). Rossy did my color, Keratin treatment and and eyebrow threading (also long overdue since my gal for that also in Plano). The experience was great (who likes spending that much time in a salon?) but more important my hair looks FABULOUS! Highly recommend this place.

Francis gave me a beautiful cut and literally put me to sleep during the blowout. A relaxing experience. Very satisfied.

I chanced upon Karizma salon while looking for a certified Brazilian blowout salon. They have a professional and friendly environment. Highly experienced staff who you can rely on. Rosie is my favorite stylist there. She works fast and with perfection! Nadia is also very welcoming. The one time I wasnt fully satisfied with my haircut they were happy to have me back to fix it. They definitely have a customer for life! Highly recommended.

HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDEDi went there for hair color and highlights she did the worst job first she made my hair looking worst than she changed my color to darker and I didn’t see any highlights on my hair. It was waste of money. Never going there back and not recommending anyone to go waste 4 hours for nothing.

Was excited to visit the new location for my Brazilian blowout. I am a breastfeeding mom not aware that a nursing mom cannot do that service. Perhaps I should not have made an appointment, because they charged me $20 on the card and knowing my condition did not give me an option to use the credit in the future.The woman who was at the reception was not exactly rude, but seemed like she wanted to get rid of me quickly. Very disappointed! I will not visit this business again!

Loved ladies doing my hair. The Manager Nabia up charged even after confirming price before coming and during the process of doing hair and didnt care. Hard to support business when they try to up charge and talk very unprofessional and uncaring. Will not come back due to management even though stylist were great.

I had the worst rot retouching a the color applied was way way way darker than my hair color which ruined the whole look of my hair, they had a groupon offer that said the package I got included style, well I was told not I had to pay extra if I needed anything more than a blow dry. And also she forgot to deep condition my hair, which was the main reason I went in, and I had to remind her after she started blow drying my hair, and then even she applied a pinch size of it which did no change to my hair, except damaging it because now I had to get into the water twice. The shampoo experience was also the worst. The only better thing was the way she bow dried, that I will give her, and trying to be customer friendly. Except for that, all they look to be concerned about is to get u in, get ur money and have you walk out the door. This could work if you are looking for a customer coming in once and then never.

The salon and staff are great. However, if you purchase the Groupon please request another stylist. Unfortunately Sarita is still in the learning stage; she is not one that is used to Black hair. My hair wasnt dry enough to iron out and she burnt my scalp, and the cut is so uneven Im frustrated.

No matter which staff member does my eyebrows, they are well trained. They listen if you let them know how you want your eyebrows to turn out. Their eyebrow powder is also very natural looking once applied, at least I can say for the dark powder which I purchased. 5 stars from me.

I got a Brazilian blowout done a year ago at Karizma Salon and it looked soo good and lasted months. I was super satisfied with it so I returned for another Brazilian blowout this year and it did not last at all. I dont know if they got different products or what, but kinda upsetting that my hair is back to the frizzy, wavy mess it was before I got it done ): still think this salon is pretty good and reasonably priced.

I love Rosie here !! i found her when i first moved here and she has been my go to salon for everything now .. be it waxing threading or even hair !! she cut my hair and it was perfect as i wanted .. i love the big chandelier in the middle here and always end up clicking photos .. salon is clean , well kept and chic .. also the prices reasonable and i can pay extra for the services .. They dont actually do the full Brazilian blowout process. They rush through applying the product (I cannot emphasize enough how fast she slapped it into my hair), and then skip the final step which is supposed to seal in the product by sending you home with a baggie holding the mask. The mask they give you is not the right product. My hair was smooth for about one week. Ive had Brazilian blowouts before and this was nonsense. Id gotten one here several years ago and it was ok, very disappointed to have wasted the money this time. Spend $50 more and go somewhere theyll actually do a complete job.

Yesterday I bought a voucher off groupon for brazilian blowout worth $99...it does say on the vocuher $25 and up charge depending on the length of the hair...i was charged $50 extra which i felt was too much for my length and thickness...just 2 inches over my shoulder...and not very thick hair..and then i was told if didnt trim my hair ..no use getting this treatment..but was charged $45 just for a slight trim! So i paid whopping $195 for something that was supposed to be $99...but the lady Reya who did my treatment was great!I also got my eyebrows threaded and upperlip waxed ...the service was done by the owner...i ended up with a bruised lip! It hurts and is swollen..so much for being professional !...i have never had an issue at the other salons before...****Edit (reply to the owners comment):I was unable to show you the voucher because my phone died right in front of you...and when you asked me purchase the voucher from you..i asked my husband to come down and i payed for it right away...and regarding the waxing..i told you that at the other salon people waxed my eyebrows very thin...but i was never burnt...but at your salon my upperlip was burnt...i do not have any skin conditions! I did post a picture of my upperlip by the evening... if you read my review ..i clearly stated that i was told about the charges ..but the price was too high... and also i did tip the lady who did my blowout and said she did a great job... so i really dont understand what the problem is... if you can accept positives.. nothing wrong in accepting a negative review...being a customer who paid for the service..i have every right to leave a frank review.

This is Byrons wife. Was excited to visit the new location for my full face service. Perhaps I should have made an appointment, because even though they were not busy, the woman who served me was not exactly rude, but seemed like she couldnt get rid of me quickly enough. Very disappointed! I will not visit this business again!

I had rashes after the waxing and the manager or owner was least concerned why or what happened. Do not keep people who do not have enough experience.

I visited Nabia for a keratin treatment, which I have had done at two other locations. The salon is incredibly clean, smells of fabulous shampoos, and the ladies who were working there on the Saturday I visited (Rosie was also there) were both super polite and well put together. Often I find stylists dont bother to dress presentably and have already vastly over experimented on themselves. At this salon, they are professional and classy enough that this is not the case. I appreciated Nabia being friendly but focused on my hair, not inane small talk. I hate salons where you are basically a captive to someones aimless yattering. Another huge plus was she never burned me or jerked a tangle or pulled my hair while going through the flat ironing process. Im tender headed but have a MASSIVE amount of super thick, long hair. The up-charge was 40 dollars, and that is typical of every place I visit. I am going back this week for additional services, and expect this will be my hair-home from here out.

I had brazilian blowout and haircut here., they did really good job. I had to reduce frizziness of my hair so she suggested me this. I am glad I choosed this. And the best part is, they arranged an appointment for me on the same day., as I was leaving to NYC the next day. I appreciate that. And I highly recommend this salon.

I went for a Brazilian was wax and she did a terrible job. There is no door and people were able to walk in and out the room while I was being serviced. I didnt even stay for her to finish before I felt she was not experienced enough. Poor service and she only used one glove
