Dr Murimi is an excellent Dr. He is patient, kind and understanding. We have also used the NP and they are amazing as well. The front office and nurses are so kind as well as the behind the scenes office staff. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking a great general physician.

I late 2020 due to the COVID19 virus and fear that I would get it I asked Dr Murimi to give me a prescription for HCL. He declined to do so. He was willing to renew my prescription for Metformin. In February, 2021 I got COVID19, pneumonia, and diabetic keto acidosis. Off to the hospital for 7 days and I nearly died. My wife was also hospital ized with pneumonia and COVID19 at the same time in the same hospital. Both of us have recovered thanks to prayers. I did have a second opinion medical look at Dr Murimi and while he did have the option to deny the JCL. It dots dots bad precedent. I fired Dr Murimi and replaced him with Dr Bode of the Atkanta Fiabeted Assiciates a.d got much better results.

Had a terrible experience with Dr. Murimis administration. I scheduled an appointment for my girlfriend and when asked what the visit was for I said my girlfriend got new insurance, gave the information about it, and that it was for her yearly exam. She gets there and is charged for a follow up appointment and not a wellness visit. After reaching out to why they code it as a follow up the, I was told the nurse practitioner that my girlfriend saw there previously ( who was on leave as of the appointment I scheduled), wanted a follow up. As of three days after the appointment the office has not admitted their mistake in scheduling this appointment and still has our money. WellStar patient experience had manager Tara Day reach out to us about the issue but said they couldnt do anything.

Great doctors visit. Today was my first visit in this office and I couldnt be more pleased. Everybody in the office is very nice and professional and everybody I interacted with made it a point to say, Welcome to our practice! Dr. Murimi was great, he took the time to ask lots of questions as well as to answer all of mine in order to come up with the best diagnosis and course of action for my chronic condition. I never felt rushed. Best part, he didnt stare at his computer the whole time I was there, he made eye contact the whole time and was engaged in the conversation. Excellent experience at every level from the front desk, to the gentleman who first took me back, sorry I forgot his name but I think he was Australian, to Dr. Murimi! I highly recommend this doctor to anybody looking for a new, great PCP!

Randomly stops medications without telling you and unable to get an appointment for weeks. Constantly having 3 week breaks in between every 3 months of prescriptions. Nice to your face during appointment, but will only have nurses speak to you over the phone. Never been so frustrated with a doctor.

I never rate or leave reviews but you should Stay away from this Dr. Care is not in his vocabulary. Dropped my wife as a patient at her lowest point. Without discussing the situation with her. Had his nurse relay the message.

I am 78 years old and have had many family Doctors ln my lifetime but none as good as Dr. John Murimi. He has treated me for many health problems and has been perfect in his diagnosis of my health. My wife also goes to him and has the same opinion.

Dr. Murimi has been my primary physician for almost 10 years. Hes attentive, sympathetic, has great bedside manners and I have never felt rushed. His staff is equally professional, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I dont post reviews often but I felt compelled to share my experience with the doc since someone gave him an undeserving one star review. **Update** Dr. Murimi is still my physician, and my opinion has not changed.
