Dr. Shukla and Karen Johnson, CRNP are out of this world! I can not speak highly enough of these two wonderful medical professionals. They listen very attentively, provide useful information and resources and NEVER discount your concerns, feelings or thoughts. Top notch, patient centric medical care!

Dr, Shukla is great. very polite. He dont make you feel rushed, He gives enough time to every patient to listen to their concerns and provide good care. He have great staff and great facility all under one roof. I do feel I am in good hands.I would strongly recommend to go to him.

From start to finish this is by far the best doctors office around. From the receptionist who is always nice when you check in to the doctor. Dr. Shukla is the best around but I have also seen Kortni and Karen and they are great as well. If you are looking for a great family office I highly recommend and suggest Bayside Internal Medicine!

Doctor Shukla is more interested in patients wishes than in what he wants to do. And he prepared for my initial office visit.As evidence of both points:He had me go through my (long - age 68) list of issues;After I finished, he reminded me of one I had missed but had written in the paperwork.

Doctor and Physician Assistants are wonderful. But to get in or report a health issue is mentally draining and ends up being a waste of time. Doctor ordered annual blood work and told me the office will call to schedule as they do it in office. I have yet to get a call a month later. Also have had a SEVERE prescription drug side effect and called office trying to get answers before I knew what was causing my issues. The office staff was terrible. I ultimately had to go to my insurance virtual visits to get answers. And if I had continued this medication it could have been really bad. I called to report the reaction so that it could be documented and I expected a follow up. And I doubt the doctor was even made aware. I also needed a refill and he didnt refill everything, again having to go elsewhere to get the refill and only have a months worth of allergy meds. Scheduling is so much of a head ach. I want to stay with this doctor, but communication is absolutely hindering his practice and its very unfortunate. Do not waste your time

Wonderful office all around. Caring respectful staff who go out of their way to accommodate patients. They bring back the old doctoring ideas of treating the whole patient for wellness, instead of treating individual items separately. They always give of their time abundantly, Ive never felt rushed. Our family has found a trustworthy family doctor for life, in Dr. Shukla and his wonderful staff.

Everyone at this practice has been exceptional during the pandemic. Never once has anyone wavered from being professional, kind, patient, or helpful. During such a stressful time, this is to be highly commended!

Dr. Shukla is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He listens intently and always solves my problems. I never have to wait long and I dont feel rushed when I am there. He always makes sure my questions are answered. He has a great staff who are caring and friendly.

Doctor and Physician Assistants are great. Office staff is the most unprofessional ever witnessed. Rivals MVA for service. Rude and non-responsive, a long list of why things do not get done. Information is never correctly communicated. Referral person does not follow up on anything. Really a shame that support staff makes this office experience all but unbearable. I dread calling here for anything.

I have been seeing Dr. Shukla for years and I wont see anyone else. He has an excellent bedside manner and is warm and caring as well as being an excellent diagnostician.

This office has the rudest, most disrespectful receptionists, who will put you on hold for ten to twenty minutes. My appointment (that was schedule 2 weeks in advance) was canceled by the office with no phone call or notice (due to a “scheduling conflict” and was rescheduled for a time that I needed to be at work. When I had a medical question for the doctor regarding our appointment I was told “the doctor doesn’t have time to call patients” however they are still accepting new patients? Furthermore, A close family member of mine was addicted to pain medications without a diagnosis due to one of their former nurse practicioners. There is only one actual doctor at this office, the others are only nurse practitioners. When I arrived at my appointment the nurse practitioner told me “I don’t really know what I’m doing here so I’m gonna need to ask you a lot of questions”. Very unprofessional.

Very unprofessional and unethical. I know of multiple family member and friends that were prescribed highly addictive medications without a reasonable diagnosis. Would not recommend to ANYBODY.

Very nice and they do not judge you..I have hiv and they dont treat me any different!

DR. KAREN IRRESPONSIBLY PRESCRIBED ME ANTIDEPRESSANTS WITHOUT DIAGNOSIS, STILL ON THEM YEARS LATER. She also prescribes meds like Adderall, Xanax, and Suboxone without diagnosis. VERY UNETHICAL.
