Sites are really unlevel, other than that well taken care of and very clean bathrooms.

We camp here often! Its close to home yet far away. The grounds are well kept and the bathroom is VERY clean! The other campers are like friends even though we dont know them!

This is one of South Dakotas older campgrounds, so the sites are a little smallerThe trees are big, and old, but they have trimmed them so bigger rigs can get around without any problems if you watch what you are doing.

My husband is handicapped. We got the handicap site but in order to level our steps we at least 30 inches off the ground. We had to switch sites with our son. Not a good experience at all! A lot of unlevel sites.

We were part of a group. Kids could play at the park and be in full view while we cooked and set up. We enjoyed the swim beach and time together. Id definitely come back again. Thanks!

Im glad the campgrounds are open during COVID-19, even though the amenities are closed. This is a well-wooded campground with plent to do. The sites are a little odd and the campside of the site is often small, but overall you have space to spreadout and have some family fun.

Love everything there. Fishing is good certain times of the yr. But nice place to visit and walk trails. Disc golf course is also available for fun.

Nice little campground but comes with a few issues. Pick a site a little away from the Comfort Station - Dump station is a little too close to those sites and can smell at times. Nice playground and open field for kids to play. Disc golf course is fun - could use a little more grass in some areas but overall an interesting layout. You do have to drive to the course from the campground. Hiking trail on grounds is a nice hike for kids. Only disappointment was the swimming beach had a large Algae Bloom and made it impossible to swim. Also saw some animal waste on the beach.Could be a great little escape but does need some more TLC. Have seen better from other South Dakota Parks.

Nice campground, bathrooms and showers available to use, water filling station, dump station, drinking fountains , fishing dock, lake, complementary newspaper , spots of several sizes and lengths, paved spots, firepits in each, camp hosts have fire wood available, spots are a little close in some places, updated playground , large pavilion with a grill, only electric hookups at the camp sites. Was a very busy place , lots of kids present and families . decent place for the $$
