I would never go back there. They squeezed my puppy in to reattach his splint on his right front leg, when I picked him up I told the staff member that the splint was not correct and was on backwards and was still loose, she actually argued and talked over me, and I did take him to another vet that same day and she confirmed that the splint was on backwards and notreplaced correctly

Recently, I had to say goodbye to my furbaby. Aberdeen Veterinary Clinic made the atmosphere so comfortable with care for her to transition peacefully. A week afterwards, I received a personal card of sympathy as well as a paw print plaque. I love this clinic with caring staff. -Lenita R.

WORST VET EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD!!! I have owned dogs for years and I have been to several vets because Im in the military and Ive lived in many different places. Ive always ensured my dogs were up to date on their vaccinations and vet visits. This vet was hands down the worst vet Ive ever seen! I went to this vet after I had just gotten a new purebred puppy. I hadnt even had the puppy for three full weeks yet, and the puppy was very skinny when I got him. To be clear, this dogs breed is naturally very skinny and bony in appearance in a healthy state. This vet wasnt even familiar with the breed, and she accused me of neglecting my dog because he was skinny, even though he was healthy! If I were neglecting my dog, why would I even bring him to the vet to get a vaccination and checkup in the first place? This vet called the housing office on APG (or the APG police directly), and the game warden came to my house to do a welfare check! I had told this vet that I hadnt had the dog very long, and that I fed him every day. This vet didnt listen to me and called the police on me! She talked to me like I had no idea what I was doing. When the game warden came to my house, even he told me to never go to this vet again and that he would tell them to mind their own business. Completely unnecessary behavior from this vet. They didnt listen to me at all. Whats worse, my dog had diarrhea all day the next day after this visit, because they must have fed him something unfamiliar while he was there! He didnt have diarrhea before that visit nor since then. I take good care of my dog and I assure anyone that he gets plenty to eat. Extremely disappointed by this vet and embarrassed/infuriated by this experience. I DEFINITELY will not go here again and I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone to go here. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I took my 18 year old cat to Dr Fritz for an accupuncture consultation today. Even amongst the COVID restrictions, I felt comfortable letting the staff take my furbaby inside without me. The receptionist Sam, was very, very nice, and so was Bill who brought my baby back out to my car. And Dr Fritz was very informative about goals and treatments. DEFINATLEY GOING BACK FOR MORE TREATMENTS!!

The staff was pleasant enough, but when the Doctor called me the work had already been done and I was specifically told that they would call me prior. The Doctor couldnt explain the costs associated and it literally took her five minutes to enter it into the computer. She had to place the phone down and figure out how to enter the costs associated with the visit, however, she might want to call prior and have the estimate prepared prior to reaching out to the customer. Then the total amount that she gave over the phone was less than the amount of the invoice when I arrived to retrieve my pet. There are plenty of other Vet Clinics around that I would rather try than go there again.

We havent forgotten and neither should you. My sisters dog, Chief, a two-year old Golden Retriever, yet to live a full life, was cared for by Dr. Fritz at the Aberdeen Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Fritz overdosed Chief with a drug called Gentamiacin and didnt check his kidney function, leaving him alone overnight to suffer. Chief went into renal failure and passed away. If Chief was a human, Dr. Fritz would be charged with negligence and involuntary manslaughter. Please dont ever take your pets to this clinic; they deserve so much better. Rest in peace little Chiefy. We love you.

I came here at the recommendation of my old vet as I had just moved to the area. I brought my new puppy in for her first visit and was not very happy. The staff was nice to my face, but I could hear them talking about my decision regarding my pets care behind the counter. I am not a novice when it comes to pet ownership as I have another 2 year old dog at home and have had dogs my whole life.I came to this clinic for guidance in this journey, not to feel judged and looked down upon because of my choices. I am making the hour and a half drive back to my old vet and will not be visiting again.

Love this vet. Very compassionate with our pit bull. Very accommodating to her since she does not like other dogs. Highly recommended.

We were stationed at Aberdeen Proving Ground this past year and used Aberdeen Veterinary Clinic. Saw Dr. Fritz once and another vet at that office once. My problem is two fold...the last appt ended with confusion because what meds I talked with Dr. Fritz about wasn’t what my dog was sent home with and when I questioned at check out, I was given a vague explanation. What bothers me the most now is that we PCS’ed (for non military folks..we were moved permanently) and now the vet here has requested records twice, but not received any. My old dog baby will be getting a second set of vaccinations even though she already had them all because this vet office won’t follow through. Dr. Fritz has a great demeanor and seems smart/compassionate. Not impressed with follow through and office staff.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Literally the most incompetent vets office I have ever been to. There is nothing like taking off of work to make sure your pets have their normal vaccinations to be told that they cannot find previous records for your pet and so now they don’t know what vaccinations they need.If they can’t keep good on paperwork on your pet, how can you trust them with the good competent care of them?To the vets office, thank you so much for a wasted day, unnecessary time off of work and waiting until I’m AT YOUR DOOR to know what you need to see them. I hope you lose your license. And as for blaming your new employee and promising to “talk to her”… that’s awful. do not blame or punish a new employee when it’s your previous paperwork that wasn’t kept. No customer wants to hear that someone is going to get punished because of something like that. How degrading.
